The packaging on this is so pretty. A lavender tube with swirly girly writing and pretty swirls all over the container. I feel pampered using this because of the pretty packaging and knowing that this is a nourishing mascara and it's good for my lashes with the growth serum and conditioning infused in the mascara. This does not cause me any irritation or cause my eyes to water like some products I've used. This is an excellent little mascara but I have issues with the wand applicator. The bristles are cut so that it is wider and fuller at both ends and tapered in the middle of the brush. This makes it difficult to get all of my lashes coated and I have to use multiple swipes at different angles to get 1 coat on all the lashes. It looks like it would work, and in theory it should, but for me it is more work and I prefer the nice curved brush that gets to all the lashes in one stroke. This applies mascara very lightly and it gives a natural I'm born with it look. I used 2 to 3 coats and it does not clump or stick the lashes together. This seems to give length more than volume, but even after 3 coats they still weren't long enough to brush my eyeglass lenses. They all stay separate and it still looks very natural. By the end of the day though I had raccoon eyes from the mascara flaking off. Other than that, I love the mascara itself, but I really do not like the wand brush at all. This washes off easily with soap and water and I did not have to scrub or use additional products to get every last bit off. This is a fabulous product and it gives a natural look no matter how many coats. There are some days I really want a natural I don't have makeup on look and this is perfect for that. I really love this mascara for the look it gives and I would happily use another tube. The brush is not a deal breaker for me, but the cost is the main deterrent for me. I don't like paying that much when I can use others for half the cost.

I have stubby little lashes and have a basket full of half used so called miracle mascaras that supposedly lengthen, curl, volumise etc. All to no avail. This is hands down the best mascara I have ever used. It separates and lengthens my short lashes and I have definitely noticed a change in my lashes without mascara, much softer, less brittle and stronger. Would recommend for anyone who is looking for natural looking lashes

Lengthens and separates nicely, made my lashes feel stronger and less brittle.
Flakes and smudges throughout the day.

I got this as a sample at Ulta when I bought an Urban Decay eyeliner. It really is a good product. The brush works well and no clumping. I wouldn't repurchase because it is expensive and there are good drugstore mascaras that are less than half the price.

This mascara is wonderful. I like it because it is just as lengthening/thickening as 'They're Real!' by benefit, but it's not impossible to get off like benefit's. This doesn't smudge or make my lashes feel stiff or sticky either. The packaging is very cute. New HG.

I absolutely LOVE this mascara! Urban Decay is a pricier brand, but totally worth it most of the time. This was no exception. The wand is fantastic - it evenly paints the mascara on your lashes while combing them and fanning them out. One or two coats gives a soft and natural look, more coats ands a little drama. It plays nice with others so have fun layering it with other mascaras. Try it with Urban Decay's Big Fatty for a bold look. Using just this mascara, lashes remain soft to the touch. My lashes seem healthier when using this mascara, which is wonderful. I will absolutely repurchase this mascara and am going to save the wand from this tube to use as a spoolie, which is something I do when I love a mascara wand. Pros: fabulous wand that combs and fans out lashes, keeps lashes supple, looks beautiful on, plays well with others so you can build. Cons: I can't think of any!
Age: 30-35 Skin: Combination, Fair, Neutral Hair: Brunette, Straight, Fine Eyes: Brown
Packaging: Pretty chrome violet with blue-violet illustrations.
Brush: Silicone with thin rounded teeth. Thin in the middle and wider towards the ends. Unusual.
Formula: Good balance of wet and dry. Good for everyday application. Decent length and volume (not dramatic, but better than natural). Minimal fallout...doesn't happen every time and usually only have to clean it once. Dries pretty hard by the end of the day and somewhat difficult to remove (even with olive oil).

This is an amazing mascara! I have short lashes and this mascara gives lasting volume and length! I don't need an eyelash curler, I love it!

Definitely 5 lippies and a definite yes for repurchasing!
I purchased this mascara after my lashes became brittle from using other mascaras. Since using this I swear my lashes are a little longer, curlier and much healthier looking. I've even ditched my eyelash curler since using this mascara!
I don't have a problem with it smudging or running and find it goes on smooth, even after 2 coats.
This is one of my must haves in my make up bag. Can't live without this actually :)

Urban Decay's Lush Lash Mascara will "indulge your lashes with the hardest working mascara on the planet. Our unique formula delivers instant length and volume and allows them to grow LONGER!". This mascara is supposedly infused with a growth serum which conditions the lashes with nourishing ingredients like panthenol and peptides. Urban Decay suggests using this mascara in conjunction with their Lush Lash Serum. I got a sample of this mascara as a gift with purchase at Ulta. The full size tube retails for $20. This mascara is vegan. Urban Decay is a cruelty free brand, but they were recently acquired by L'Oreal, a brand known for testing on animals. This mascara was made in Canada. Urban Decay products can be bought on the brand's website, at Sephora and Ulta, and I believe select department stores as well.
Lush Lash, like most Urban Decay products, has attractive, edgy, and intricate packaging. Lush Lash comes in a pretty lavender tube with purple detailing. The name of the product and the Urban Decay logo are written on the tube in purple lettering, along with a short claim that be can found on the tube. Very pretty stuff, Urban Decay, not very informative, but it is a sample after all.
Lush Lash has an interesting brush. The rubber brush is average in length and comes to a rounded point. This brush has short, evenly spaced bristles that really grab the lashes well. The brush is widest at the bottom, nips in at the middle, and rounds off again towards the top. The bristles are the shortest where the brush curves inwards. I'm not entirely sure of Urban Decay's thoughts when they were designing this brush, the taped middle section of the brush doesn't really make sense to me. All that being said, the brush isn't bad, it's easy to work with and good at separating the lashes.
Urban Decay's Lush Lash doesn't Really live up to it's name. The results are ok, I just wouldn't call my lashes "lush" when I wear this mascara. Urban Decay says that this mascara will "nourish, thicken, and lengthen". Honestly, I only see the length, which it gives a nice amount of. This mascara seperates my lashes well, except on the outer corner, where it tangles them up a little bit. Lush Lash offers no volume, which is kinda disappointing. This mascara is very much a "daily" mascara, there's no drama at all, which is the exact opposite of what I expected. I've never actually noticed any flaking from Lush Lash, but it loses a lot of oomph throughout the day. At the end of the day I only have half of the mascara I applied left. I don't know where it goes, it doesn't flake or smudge, it's so strange.
I feel a little disappointed by Urban Decay's Lush Lash. With a name like that I thought I was going to get big, thick lashes (I guess that's what Big Fatty is for), but instead I just get a nice amount of length, nothing amazing. My question is, where does that length go? The flakeless disappearance of my mascara is worthy of a spot on Unsolved Mysteries. I don't really have anything to say for the effectiveness of the serum in this mascara; I haven't noticed a difference in my lashes and I doubt I would if I used the entire tube. I think you'd need to use only this mascara for a few months to really see results and I'm not capable of that kind of cosmetic commitment. If you can devote your lashes to on mascara for the sake of growing your lashes, try Lush Lash, but otherwise, there are better mascaras to try. I wouldn't repurchase.
