What a lovely novelty Lancôme gave the world this spring! The brand new collection, inspired by a garden of roses, is like a breath of fresh air to every woman's looks. All the products seem gorgeous, from the lovely rose-shaped blush to the new pink lipstick shades, but as unfortunately high quality items come with a price tag attached, this eye shadow palette was the only one I had the chance to use continuously - I won it in a beauty blog's giveaway.

I was given a mint green palette (Vert Tendresse) that includes four tones: a matt green color eye shadow, a glossy green eye shadow, a shimmering very light green tone (with some subtle golden highlights) and a white illuminating eye shadow. I used to be very skeptical concerning green eye shadows and was afraid that these would look too cakey and artificial on my pale skin, especially after a long and cold winter.
But this palette is so beautiful that I believe it looks good on any skin tone - the minty shades are soft yet pigmented, have a great holding power and blend very easily. They match very well with the floral print trend on clothing and look great with rosy cheeks.
I could go on forever with compliments, but I think I've said enough. Lancôme reminded me, once again, the amazing feeling of falling in love with a make up product.
