Really like this gel liner, I actually have it in black and the colour is very pigmented which i like. Great for use on top lash line but does also look very nice in lower waterline and it stays well. Very good size for the cheap price of only around £6

Only complaint would be the brush-don't think its great

got this to see if it would be a cheaper alternative to my all time hg bobbi brown gel eyeliner. nope, its more like a cream, super smudgy, not pigmented enough. tossed it out.

My two cents: It is a very weak eyeliner but I say: Go grab this and use as a cream shadow. It's a flattering mid brown-taupe and is an excellent crease color for my nc40 skintone. It works well with All of my eyeshadows. It last forever on my crease and above. I think it should be remarketed as a shadow.

Its a cream not a gel. Waste of money, maybe good for a beginner. It is not very piggmented for liquid gel liner.

About me: NW13 (neutral-cool toned, very fair), blue eyes, Color season is True Summer, Baumann Skin Type is OSPW.

COLOR:
The color in the pot is lighter and warmer than what actually goes on the lid: a dark, cool toned brown. Similar to Essence’s London Baby, a LE dark taupe gel liner that many covet. However, in my opinion, while it is just as dark as London Baby, it looks lighter or less dramatic because it’s not as pigmented. Additionally, I think this has less of a reddish tone found in the taupe of London Baby.
The views on how pigmented this product is tend to vary. Some PPP complained that this brown is too harsh for day wear. I think it’s confusing because while the actual color is dark, the pigmentation is lighter than it could be. To call this a “soft dark brown” would be most accurate. I have worn it for day wear and I’m NW13. And while the color is decently buildable, I wouldn’t expect this to stand out in low lighting though. It’s for medium impact.

PACKAGING / BRUSH:
Price is $5-8, I tend to find these for closer to $10. Expensive for drugstore, but a fraction of what you’d pay for a medium or high end liner, of which it’s performance compares. Although you get more product with a MAC liner.
Many stated they didn’t purchase the product expecting to use the brush, but that it was a decent brush that allows for versatility, both thin and thick lines. Don’t expect this brush to last you forever, but at least the life span of the product (until you get a new brush!)

APPLICATION:
There is debate on whether this is creamier than medium to high end liners, or not. Some said MAC Fluidline’s gel was dryer in formula. Smoother than Bobbi Brown’s gel liner. Regardless of how it compares to high end liners, this is definitely easy to apply and goes on very smooth, even after a year of wear. For those that think this is dry, I did hear the brown formula is dryer than the black formula.
Not many complained of it drying too fast, as some gel liners, and especially liquid liners do. It seems very forgiving in application, meaning you can wipe off any that you over-applied. Some did say that it took longer than usual to dry, but maybe this is when the container is brand new. I have not had those issues with mine, and it is over two years old.
I did not have any issues with smudging or transferring to my upper lid. I don’t have those issues with any of the gel liners I’ve tried, just with very soft pencils like MAC’s Eye Kohl. Applying eye shadow on top of the liner to “set” it might eliminate this problem for others, but that’s an “extra step,” and I try to avoid those as much as possible with HG products, unless they are LE or so unique I can put up with the extra legwork involved to make them suitable for every day wear.

LONGEVITY:
Many commented that this lasts all day. I got about 6-12 hours. About the same that I get from other gel liners, using NYX HD eye shadow primer underneath. One review suggested using this product in conjunction with an eye shadow primer for longest results. I would imagine that most people use a primer underneath their shadows, and thus would automatically be using a primer underneath. So while this is technically an “extra step,” in practice it probably won’t be.
Is it waterproof? Equal votes yes and no. Not sure if I would recommend this as HG for your waterline. Yes, you can get it to stay after a few swipes, but it’s not dramatic, and at least for me, it didn’t last all day on my waterline like it did my lids. Another review suggested applying pencil liner underneath and this liner on top for maximum lasting capacity. This sounds like maybe more trouble than the product is worth.
For removal, some protested having to use a secondary eye make up remover to get it off. However, I always remove my make up using a two or three step process: massage an oil into my make up to loosen it, cleanse using liquid cleanser and water or a make up remover wipe, and tone. Otherwise, my skin gets easily clogged. On the plus side, this seems to be non-irritating. Some said MAC’s Fluidline irritated their eyes more.

OVERALL:
This is a good drug store product. It won’t dry out before you use it up, and the little brush that comes with it is a bonus. I don’t think you will find this gel liner to be any more spectacular than the mid- and high-end range products, especially in terms of vibrancy of color or how long it lasts, but it’s not a waste of money, as many drug store products are.

Don't even think about it for tightlining or waterlining. I tried every suitable brush I had ( the one provided is annoyingly useless in this case) Way too much effort because it is not pigmented. It's not in any way even a poor relation to Essence gel liners. It has a thinner consistency then their Color Tattoos, but I tried to make it do something for me since it's a nice true mid brown and played with it as a crease color. Not bad, it spreads around easily. There, I thought! I repurposed it! Not! It just looks dirty after a short while and shmeers like crazy even with primed eyes.

This was my first eyeliner purchase, and I am very pleased with this product! I found the gel really easy to apply, even though I had no idea what I was doing. The only time this has ever given me raccoon eyes is once after a day of walking downtown in the summer, so I'm forgiving it for that one. It stays put for me, and the brush itself is amazing!!! It allows you to put as much or as little as you like. The only reason I don't wear this more often is it is very dark, too dark for my ppp skin. I didn't realize the brown was as dark as it is, but I still wear it out at night! Overall a great liner, and one that is great for beginners to try!

This is an average gel liner that I would probably not buy again. The pigment is not very good, and flakes.

This is my second time trying a drugstore brand of gel liner (the other being Revlon), and I would definitely spend a bit more for MAC or Clinique.

Recommended by the saleslady at Ulta who told me it is her favorite gel eyeliner. Throw away the brush.

It doesn't seem to stay on at all on my dry lids. But the weird part is if I swipe it on my waterline five or six times until you can actually see a non-streaky line, this gel liner stays for hours. No liner can do that except some Japanese liquid liners but usually those colors are too dark.

So I am going to use it when I need a soft brown waterline look. However, I will not repurchase any of this line again. Prefer Stila or Mac gel liners for staying power.

I have been using this in black for over a year and I love it. Since I can't afford high end MAC or Bobbi Brown gel liners, I always turn to drugstore brands. This gel liner is GREAT! It goes on smoothly with about two coats. I also use the brush that comes with it to make an amazing winged out liner. I guess since I've been using it for so long I've gotten used to the brush and know how to use it well. The only issue I have with this is that the brush can get pretty messy when you're done with it. Overall, this is my GO TO eyeliner. I wouldn't buy anything else.

I hate this gel liner the brush is horrible and it irritates my eyes. It's a total ripoff and its so hard to take off I prefer the maybelline master precise liquid eyeliner and its the best.

This was my first gel liner, and I love it. I'm never going back to pencil liners again, this stays on all day and does not smudge or transfer (unless I really rub), the little brush it comes with allows me to get a precise application, and it's a really great color. I definitely plan on getting this in black
Update: not a fan of this anymore, it transfers to my eyelids, and it hard to apply thinly.

I heard a lot of good reviews about this product so I decided to buy it. At first I thought it was really good because when I started wearing makeup, I never really wore eyeliner dramatically. Now I wing my eyeliner a bit to create a more dramatic look. Sadly,it smudges throughout the day on my outer corners! Even though I wear the urban decay primer potion. Another bad thing about this, which is the CON that bothers me the most is the fact that I have to wait atleast 20 minutes for it to dry, and sometimes it's not even completely dry. I curl my eyelashes and most of the liner sticks to the eyelash curler which is really frustrating :( So I do not reccomend this product sorry :(

I hate a strong hatred for this eyeliner as it smudges easily and its very hard to take off. I have oily lids and even with a primer it doesn't stay very long about 2 hours and I look like a panda!

I heard good reviews about this but it failed to impress me. The brush and the product is easy to use but it smudges during the day on my outer corners. After 1 hour the color fades a little bit. The product is buildable tough.
Overall it is wearable if I check and retouch 2 and 3 time during the day and set it with eyeshadow.

This is a great gel liner which goes on smoothly and lasts really well. I have slightly oily eyelids so have real problems getting any liner to do the trick but this really works. It comes with a brush which works ok but is quite short. It doesn't have the full five stars simply because I have used a couple of high end brands which are creamier to apply, but for the price this is definitely the best one I have seen and it is well worth a try

In India, this eyeliner is available in two swirl combos - brown -gold and black - silver. I bought the brown with gold one. The two colours are swirled in a little glass pot such that you can either use the individual colours or mix them together to make a bronze.

The texture is quite creamy and smooth and applying the liner is a dream. The brush that comes with it is of really good quality and gives good control over the thickness of the line.

Its is quite pigmented and you have to be careful you don't get it on the upper eyelids while it's still not "set". Once it sets, it is smudge-proof and fade-proof. Don't know yet if it is water proof. It lasted on my eyes for more almost 14 hours, intact. I even used it on my waterline and it didn't smudge there either.

This is the first gel liner I have purchased so I can't compare it with L'oreal, MAC or any other brands. But I don't think I need to. Because for the price I'm paying, I'm getting such a wonderful product. Getting the black and silver one soon too.

I used this liner everyday for about a year now and I love it! It stays put all day long with or without a primer. It just seems to glide onto my eye so easily. It came with a brush which I would use often up until a few months ago I got an angled liner brush which seemed to make it easier. Also you don't even need a whole lot of product I just dip my brush in and brush the top lightly and you got plenty.I would definitely buy this again and I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to buy a cheap gel liner, even for beginners.

I love this gel liner. I used MAC fluid line and I recently thought to try this out. It isn't as creamy as the MAC liner, but it does its job. It glides on smoothly and lasts a long time. Its waterproof, so its a little difficult to remove. I bought it in the brown and charcoal color. The charcoal color is a bit shimmery. I apply it with my Sonia Kashuk bent eyeliner brush. It does dry fast so you gotta work fast! It doesn't put a hole in your pocket like MAC! I bought this for $6 + tax at my local Walmart...

well, I bought this gel liner in forest color, not brown... but I got to admit it, this is the best gel liner... ever. not really waterproof but totally smudge proof, last for over 12 hours and even a little hard to remove with remover ><... the color is perfect~ but the price is a little bit high. But I would say that it totally worth it~
