Bought NYX brow powder based on all the great reviews, and I was quite pleased: brows looked dark without being too harsh and the wax kept everything in place. Awesome product!

I love everything about this product. The brush it comes with is very stiff and gives you control when applying it, the colour matches perfectly and since they give you two it's easy to find a good match. The wax allows the colour to stick to the skin instead of just the hair so it's perfect if you have sparse hairs or any spaces anywhere that powder alone wouldn't fill in. Can build up the colour to either look very natural for daytime or a bit more filled in for nighttime. Just can't say enough good things about it, it's perfect and I will definitely repurchase

I'm a big fan of this eyebrow kit! I use it frequently & I love the package; it's the wax & two shades of brown. I like that there is more than one shade because it helps gives my eyebrows a more natural look & for $2.99, I can't complain! This kit it amazing & does everything I need it to.

Cheap, matches my eyebrows, comes with a spoolie and an eyebrow brush, comes with a wax and 2 colors. Basically, it's good for what you pay. I like it, but the powders aren't...powdery enough..if that even makes sense? I feel like the powders sometimes apply unevenly and cling to the dry skin around my eyebrows (no i don't overdraw my eyebrows, the skin right around my eyebrows is dry due to plucking).

So I'm always trying to find the perfect eyebrow powder or liner for my sparse Asian eyebrows. After going to Ricky's I decided why not try NYX Eyebrow Cake Powder in Black/Gray.
Package: comes with two pressed powders, one in grey and one in black with a little pot of wax. A mini angled brush and a spoolie.
Price: 5.99 on Ulta.com
Pros: Two options of black and gray allowing a variation to define and fill in your brows. Color matched perfect with my brows as most others I find have too much brown in them or are too black and look unnatural.
Cons: You need to use your own eyebrow brush, the one that comes with it is very stiff and a bit too thick to draw the outside thinner part of the eyebrow. You definitely need some sort of eyebrow wax or sealer to keep the powder in place and the one that comes with it for me is a bit too gloss when the light hits your eyebrow.
Overall I would buy the product again because the shades are a perfect match for me and a great price but I do need to find a better sealer for the powder.

As a brow powder its okay. For less than $10 its worth a shot. The two little brushes that come with it are okay, I would recomment getting a more precise eyebrow brush eventually. It definately looks natural when applies lightly, and built where needed. I'm AA with brown hair and it matches well. The two powders look very similar to me. I kind of wish they just mixed them and gave us 1 larger color. The pigment is not great but when you use the brush it came with, the brush is very tough so it picks it up well. It fades slowly throughout the day but nothing drastic. I like natural, slightly imperfect looking brows during work and this does the job. It's no holy grail item but definately a good fall back product. The packaging is perfect, but the wax is useless. Thick, dirty after used, and awkard to get on a spoolie. I set with Anastasia brow gel. For precise looking brows I would keep product searching.

This excels on all the most important aspects of an eyebrow products: color, natural or dramatic, lasting and price!
1. BROWN eyebrow product and it looks great in all lighting (many eyebrow product look good inside but in natural light have hints of red ... not this one!)
2. You can achieve a natural look with a light layer or a dramatic look with multiple layers. The gel makes it more pigmented, but that also tends to make it more noticeable that you have something on your eyebrows. I personally just like using the powder for everyday use. I use the gel for the days that I want a little extra "pop" and staying power.
3. Lasting power is great! This product stays on all day whether I use the gel part of it or not. It may fade a littleee bit throughout the day without the gel but it still stays on wonderfully.
4. Such a great product at such a great price. I got mine for $4.79 on sale at Ulta (normally $5.99) and a little goes a longgg way so it seems like it will last a very long time.
I highly recommend this product!

I really like how this product can give you a polished brow look without it looking over done or overly drawn.

One of the successful product of NYX. I've received many praises on how "perfect" my brows are and even recommend it to friends and family. It's easy to fill in, however the brush is a no-go. I use it with a pricey angled brush to achieve the desired texture for my brow. The case broke twice, which was inconvenient, it messed up my makeup bag, so i had to tie them up after every use, much of a hassle.
Yes i will buy it again, but i've stopped using them and went back to eyebrow retractable pencils as they are more on-the-go type.

THE BEST! I was blessed with patchy dark eye brows that when waxed, were way too thin, and when grown out, are just etrocious. I've been filling them in for years and have found NYX browns to be the most accurate shade for my needs. I was a fan of the brown in the Champagne and Caviar palette to fix my issue (which is still fantastic as an alternative, although there is some fallout since it is an eyeshadow) but I stumbled upon this godsend just a week ago and couldn't be happier!
The product was super affordable and the colors are phenomenal for brows. My eyebrows are dark brown/black but my hair is naturally light brown, this powder makes my eyes softer-looking while still drawing attention to them. The brushes that are included aren't bad, but I did decide to use my own (POSH Brow Brush). Just a little dip in the wax and a light swipe of color is all i needed to achieve the desired look. Great for filling in and the wax has excellent staying power for a drugstore product. This will definitely be a repurchase! It's a must have for day to day and especially special occasions!! *LOVE*

LOVE! It's super affordable and most importantly is good quality! I am constantly being complimented in how I fill in my brows and I really owe it all to this product. The only thing I would recommend, is investing in a good eyebrow brush. I have one from the brand "Anastasia" and I fill my brows in with ease.

Yes. Just yes. I never understood what the whole "filling in your eyebrows" thing was about until I tried this product. It's so easy to use and very natural looking. The packaging is clumsy (the cover broke almost immediately) but it's still usable regardless.
It makes you look instantly "done".

Here's a long boring story shortened into a short boring story. I have very dark brown hair and it's always been super hard trying to find an eyebrow color that wasn't too dark or too light. Black brows just make me look goth, and all of the browns were either too light, too dark, or had this weird reddish/orangish tinge to it as you would start to fade it out. In my unprofessional opinion, there seem to be two kinds of browns. Browns that contain reds and browns that don't. The browns that contain reds always seem to be eyebrow pencils I wind up with, and always make me look ridiculous. Now, cut to 8 months ago: enter NYX EYEBROW CAKE POWDER into my life. Oh my god. Yes. Yes. YES!!! For six bucks this is what you get: two shades of powder, a medium brown and a dark brown. A soft wax. Two brushes (one slanted brush that I assume you're supposed to apply the product with (it sucks, not thin enough), and then a brush that almost looks like a mascara wand, great for brushing out the color for a more natural look.)
If you want precision, dip a brush in the wax, dip it in the color, and draw on your brows. If you have super bushy brows like I do, you can skip the wax and just pat on the color in the sparse parts. It looks fantastically natural. I couldn't be more thrilled that they include two colors because based on the season, my complexion, my hair color, i flip flop between the two and often use both. Best part? NO RED!!! JUST BROWN!! Probably the only makeup item in my collection I can call an HG. I would recommend this particular color to anyone who is having trouble finding the perfect medium to dark brown for their eyebrows.
The only downfall for me is the fact that I can only find NYX at Ulta and the nearest Ulta to me is not near at all AND their NYX selection is kind of wonky. HOWEVER, for a six dollar miracle product, I'm willing to deal.
