This is by far and away the finest foundation I have ever used---and I've used so many. The finish is incredible---it perfects the skin, gives me a perfectly even skin tone but it looks like a second skin. You can't see that you're wearing makeup. It even covers fine lines for me. It is simply exquisite. I've strayed now and then by taking samples of other makeup, like the newer mineral or Amazonian Clay products, but nothing comes close. If I spread it with my fingers it goes on great and lasts much longer than if I use a brush. You need way less product when you use your fingers. My skin is sensitive, fair, and breaks out easily. Zero problems with this make-up. Highly recommend.

Hands down one of the best foundations on the market. This does not change color as other's do, it last's until you take it off and there are so many different shades to match every skintone. Lancôme never ceases to amaze me with their cosmetics. Unlike no other for sure.

I understand what others are saying about this foundation being drying, but for someone with oily skin who still uses moisturizer daily, I feel this compliments my skin well. I have to make sure I exfoliate frequently and also moisturize well, but other than that I love this foundation. I am a lancome girl- always have been. I first tried the teint miracle foundation, which I loved, but unfortunately it irritated my skin- mainly on my forehead (I'm not sure if one of the ingredients that created the 'glowy' effect had to do with that). That being said, I was VERY hesitant to try this foundation out because of my results with the teint miracle. The one thing I LOVE about this foundation is that I don't have trouble finding a shade match. I will say that lancome is geared towards more of the neutral/warm tones, but I have olive skin so I'm able to find the perfect shade. I also love how natural this looks on my skin. The key to this is only using a pump or two and then blending very well (I use a sigma flat top kabuki brush). This foundation doesn't break me out, and let me tell you- I have acne-prone skin. That being said, I will continue to re-purchase! Definitely recommend!

First of all, this doesn't last 24 hours. I would say it lasted around 6 hours on me. It started to fade though and patches started forming... It smells awful and the colour I was matched with was so yellow it made me look like I hadn't been to the loo.... A serious rip off. I am glad I didn't buy the full size!

I was first drawn to this foundation due to the list of noncomedogenic ingredients. It's difficult to find a foundation that is safe for my break out prone skin and I was able to find a good match for when I got tan. I have combination oily skin that is also dried out most of the time from using acne treatments. I've been trying this out for over a week and even on days when my skin is in really good condition-not dry and freshly exfoliated, this foundation will somehow still manage to create a layer of dryness on the surface of my skin. It looks horrible and my bronzer and blush do not sit right on top. This might be good for some one with extremely oily skin that doesn't also suffer from dryness.

This totally sucks all the moisture out of your face. I absolutely hated it. I normally use Teint Miracle which I love, but I thought I would try this to get a slightly more matte finish. Well, you definitely get matte and that is because the alcohol dries up all the moisture in your face. It is awful. The only reason I gave it a 2 is because if your skin is super oily and you need something to absorb all the oil, then this may be the right fit for you. However, my skin is normal and not oily so it was way too drying.

I am just coming off of mineral makeup after wearing 10 years. I have noticed that now that I turned 36, my skin needs something more moisturizing and I find myself using more and more concealer with MMU. On my search to find the right makeup, I have so far tried Shiseido Sun protection 42 and didn't like due to not having a good color match and having too much SPF that it looked horrible in pics. Then I tried MAC Studio sculpt which was a disaster. My next want was Stila but they did not carry it at my Macys so I tried the Teint 24 hr instead.

PROS:
-Color match is pretty good. She matched me lighter but I know that I will be tan soon, so I went for the 320 Bisque (NC25-30 skin)
-Very easy to apply (applied with MAC stippling brush) and blends well.
-Coverage is AMAZING with this stuff. I normally use a lot of concealer but with this stuff, I just buffed into my skin and I did not have to use ANY! Even better was the fact that is sinks into skin and doesn't look heavy at all. Very impressed by this alone.

CONS:
-Yes, this keeps me matte but I totally agree with the other reviewers that this made my skin feel super tight and dry. After some wear I noticed dry patches starting to come through. I do not like this and I am sure it's the alcohol that is so incredibly drying.
-As the day wears on, from far away this looks flawless, but up close fine lines are accentuated. :(
-Although it hasn't made me break out, I am worried that it will based on other reviews.

All in all, if you are super oily, this is a great foundation. But for me, I will return because it's too drying and I already live in a state where it's super dry. Very sad however because coverage is amazing without leaving you totally made up. I am going to try Stila Correct and Perfect next!

QUICK update: After only one application, I noticed that this foundation did exactly to my face what Estee Lauder DW did......it gives me a bumpy face. After I wore this for only a day, my face is covered in small bumps. Must be the drying effect.

received a sample from my lancome counter and loved it. medium natural coverage witout looking cakey; but this is just not for me. I have combination skin: my T-zone is oily but all other areas of my face are SUPER DRY. After just 2 days of wearing it, i noticed dry patches on my face. I hate that Lancome claims that it's for all skin types which it is NOT. I am sure it is a wonderful product for oily skin. but if you have combination skin, beware of the effect on your dry areas as this will absolutely dry you out.

I'm an oily girl and really wanted something that would give me full, yet natural coverage. This foundation applied beautifully & fulfilled my needs in coverage without needing to mask it on! I was sold the day I wore the sample - that was on Monday. Committed to wearing it for the rest of the week and on Wednesday, my face looked like it was attacked! I developed THREE HUGE CYSTIC bumps on my right cheek! It is now Saturday and my poor skin is still recovering... I have not been able to wear foundation in hopes to aid in the recovery of this mess. As soon as I stopped wearing this makeup, the pain in the cysts subsided. They literally appeared out of NO WHERE -- I didn't even have a warning... Such a shame because I thought I'd found my HG. I guess the search goes on unfortunately. Use caution ladies PLEASE! I hardly write reviews, but I had to after this ordeal.

I usually love my tinted moisturizers. I was in the sun a ton last summer and the spots came on strong. I bot Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24 to cover up the sun spots and it did a mediocre job at best. I wasn't really a fan with how the product looked as I hoped it would cover my sunspots better

Many many many good things to say about this foundation!
I have purchased this twice now because I do prefer it over any other foundation I've tried so far but I would like to explore more.
The lasting power is perfection! I have classes from 9am to 8:30 pm and this stuff stays like nothing else I have ever tried! I do use Merle Norman's Matte Moisturizer and Revlon's Photoready Primer under it though so that could be helping. I don't get oily with this foundation, I live in a 90- 100 degree humid climate so thats really fantastic.I do not set this with powder and I don't have to touch up either.
It's of medium coverage, you'll need a good concealer if you have acne scarring or dark circles that need covering. The texture is decent, I think as I wear it more and more (as with any foundation) the texture decreases a little in quality, to me at least, everyone else says my skin looks flawless with this foundation.I really enjoy the pump, it's never clogged or anything for me.
My only complaint about this foundation is that the palest shade is too orangey for me. I'm more yellow toned which is why I want to explore more. Also it is quite pricey to shell out $50 every 4 months or so..
Overall though, I highly recommend this foundation for anyone who just needs to even out their skin tone and is more on the combination/ oily side.

I have tried so many foundations because I have some natural redness in my face and some acne spots to cover up.

I think I have found my HG which is Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24H. I love it because it not only provides good coverage but is long wearing and looks so natural, like my skin only better.

It also comes with a pump. The color match is just about perfect with my NW20 face, but my neck is about a NC15-20. I look for a foundation that will blend and give me a good color match with my face and neck so that is not always easy to find. The shade 140N is a perfect match for me.

I really like this. On the days where I want my foundation to be full coverage and last all day. However you do have to be careful when trying to find a shade match. What I did was put several swatches on my jaw line and walk around sephora for 15-20 minutes. I realized that many i thought were previously good matches oxdized much darker.

e looks very natural does not cake or look to matte (though it is not dewy like teint miracle)
I have been complemented on having great SKIN while wearing this!
I love this stuff Looks like skin with a pretty high coverage!

OMG I am head over heels in love with this foundation!
I was always a Revlon Colorstay girl, however about 12 months ago it seemed to send my skin haywire so I decided to switch to MAC Pro-Longwear which I was very happy with, although I always found the coverage to be a little too light for me, and it tended to get darker on my face.
Lancome Teint Idole 24hr is AMAZING! The coverage is perfect (true medium buildable) and the finish is gorgeous. I honestly feel like I have magazine skin when I'm wearing it.
I have combo skin and tend to usually get an oily T zone halfway throughout the day which I will touch up with MAC blot powder, however when I wear this, I truly dont need to.
The only thing I am worried about is perhaps my face being white it flash photography, but I will have to wait and see for that one. Other people have commented that it photographs just fine.
This foundation is true HG for me & gets me excited to try their other makeup products.

This is my HG foundation. I used the old Teint Idole Ultra and thought it was OK. I would get oil breakthrough with it, and my face would feel a little greasy. I love this formula though! The first time I tried it I'll admit I thought I had made a huge mistake. I thought it emphasized fine lines on my face and made me look old (and I'm only 27!). Then, I tried it again but made sure to put on a good moisturizer before I did. The difference was phenomenal. My fine lines were no longer emphasized, and I didn't look older. I looked like I had great, even skin. I had no oil breakthrough the entire day. I'm a nurse, and I work 12 hour shifts. A lot of my patients are in isolation, and I have to wear a mask. This foundation stays on all day. It looks as good at the end of my shift as it does at the beginning of my shift. The coverage is perfect. It's not cakey, and I don't look like I'm wearing a mask. It conceals any hyperpigmentation I have from old acne scars. I love this foundation!

I would not recommend this to anyone with sensitive skin because it's really fragranced and has pretty much alcohol in it. My skin is pretty oily and this foundation gives a matte finish witch is good. It does hold for a very long time, but it makes my skin very dry at some areas. I ended up buying a shade that was a bit too dark for me. Maybe this foundation works great for some people, but it really breaks me out. And since it's so expensive I don't think it's worth the money. But I love that the bottle has a pump.

I tried it a few times with different application techniques and it always sat on my skin really weird. I tried it with a foundation brush, a blurring brush, a sponge, and my fingers. It always looked like it was sitting on top, and would sink into my pores no matter what primer I used (tarte, smashbox, and ulta brand). It also never stayed put no matter what powder I put over it. If I touched my face or gave someone a hug it would almost completely come off. It was too dry for the dry parts of my skin, and could not stay on the slightly oily parts.

This was an okay foundation, but it was too dark for me(even when I got "color matched", since it oxidizes), and it is not suitable for sensitive or acne-prone skin, either(there is a lot of alcohol in this foundation). It did give good coverage, though I wouldn't say full-coverage since I still needed a blemish and undereye concealer. It might be buildable, but I didn't bother trying. The finish is also nice and satiny, but it worked weird on my combo skin after a few hours. It started getting oily in some spots, but tight and dry in others. Meh, not a fan.
