I love the scent of this, seriously, it smells good enough to eat! It blends easily into skin and skin is left with a mild chocolate-y scent afterwards which is nice. Skin feels soft after rinsing scrub off and I would buy this again alone for the scent!

I got the gift set with the body butter, scrub, shower cream, heart soap, and lip balm. The scrub and soap bar were my favorite products. The scrub smells just like a brownie batter! It smells like real chocolate! It does have an oily feel to it, but I like it because I use it just before I shave my legs. It exfoliates and leaves behind a smooth feeling so I can get a close shave with minimal razor burn.

The granules aren't as coarse as other brands, but it does the job well enough. My biggest complaint is about the color. It's a dark brown which stains my shower very easily. I have tiles with grout on the floor, and it can be so hard to rinse this stuff out. I wish it was a tan color like the body butter or lip balm.

first of all i love the chocolate scent! it's absolutely fabulous! as a scrub i would say it's kinda soft, not harsh at all, so maybe good for sensitive skin type too.. it melts while applying it and the skin feels really soft and hydrated after. i would like it to be a little bit harder, but besides that it gives a great feeling, so it's a very very good product to have!

I've never used such a great scrub before! It smells sooo yummy, it's a very relaxing scent and it's perfect for fall and winter. It feels thick and it moisturizes like crazy. It almost feels like you've put on loition already. My legs are so sensitive and this still works great.

I often don't like chocolate-scented products as they can smell artificial but this scrub smells just like the real thing. It's a warm, comforting scent that is lovely in the autumn or winter. It exfoliates well and moisturises too. Perfect if you need a decadent, chocolately treat.

UPDATE: I wanted to love this but I haven't repurchased as I found that whilst it smelt great in the shower, it left a strange, plasticky scent on my skin after use. Perhaps it just clashed with my skin.

Chocomania body scrub applies smoothly over the skin and it feels so silky going on- almost like a lotion. It also makes my skin feel so nice and soft. The only negative is how messy it is. It gets all over the place when applying this.

I bought this scrub as part of the "Shower, Scrub and Moisture Luxury Gift" set, as there was a sale on the gifts recently. I used the scrub tonight and it was uh-mazing. It is dark brown, the exfoliating granules are perfect in size, and the scent is wonderful!! I was in chocolate heaven. It doesn't lather, but honestly a little does go a long way imo. My legs and arms feel so smooth, the scent lingers for a while too, love it. The scrub has an oily base, but my skin doesn't feel oily. I have dry skin but didn't need any kind of cream or lotion on my arms afterwards, which for me says alot about the quality of this product. It's very moisturizing.
The ONLY thing (which i still didn't knock a lippie off for) is try not to lick your skin, like your hands, unless you wash your hands after using the scrub, because it leaves a chemical taste behind. So i def wouldn't suggest using this particular product if you're planning a cozy night with your significant other!! It tastes bad.

Overall, great quality product, it scrubs, it moisturizes, it smells divine. So glad I made this purchase!!

LOVE love love this body scrub!! I read the reviews on the others by the body shop but this and the watermelon smelled the best to me. Leaves an moisturized feeling afterward but not oily. Rinses out of the shower easily.

This scrub is amazing! It really leaves my skin feeling super smooth even when I'm out of the shower. I only bought the 50ml tub but I have recently bought 2 as they are on offer for buy 1 get 1 half price.
As mentioned before it doesn't really lather up so it doesn't go a long way, but for me I only use it on my face anyway. It smells DIVINE and does absolute wonders for my skin.
It is a bit pricey however which is why I don't use it all over as it would run out too quickly! However for just the face it's great as it will last a long time.
Really love this product and honestly leaves your skin so smooth. Highly recommended!

This smells soooo good! I gave it a 5 just for the smell alone. It's a good scrub too but what really got me was the scent and I am going to go out and get more of the chocomania line.

I've tried The Body Shop's Strawberry and Satsuma Scrub, which I've both love - so when Chocomania scrub was announced - I knew I had to try it.

It met every expectation! The scrub smells absolutely scrumptious. The scent isn't overly sweet or synthetic. The granules aren't very abrasive, but gentle and soothing. There are also oils in this product that leaves my skin really soft, I haven't checked the key ingredients, but it feels divine after a hot shower! Having said that though, I found my tub really slippery after use, so just be careful!

My overall verdict, I will be repurchasing it!

I agree with the previous reviewer that this scrub has slightly smaller granules than some other Body Shop scrubs, but it's still a very good scrub! I have very dry, itchy skin and the size of the granules was still large enough to make me feel well exfoliated.
This scrub really smells great in the shower. To me, it doesn't really smell like chocolate, but it picks up the bitter notes in dark chocolate, and I almost get a bitter spiced citrus fragrance from it. I think it's lovely and a lot nicer than an overly sweet, artificial chocolate scent would be. The fragrance actually reminds me a bit of Cartier Declaration. The scrub leaves the skin feeling soft, moisturized and feeling great. I would definitely repurchase!

Now this scrub is even nicer in colour than the shower gel, since it's so dark, it reminds me of plain chocolate. The scrub grains are very small and not as noticable as they are in the cocoa scrub, for example. Also there's no real lather so spreading it on your body takes time and more product that it should. It's a decent scrub, but definitely not the best and wouldn't it be for the heavenly chocolate scent I'd consider it a failure. As it is, I'm happy about the scent, content with the scrubbing quality and, uh, I will not buy again. It's a little too expensive to repurchase a product you're not totally happy with. I guess I'll return to the cocoa scrub once I'm done with this.
