What a wonderful product. Freshly applied, you can smudge it. Once it sets, it sets. I have oily hooded lids and this really stays put on me. I love the color. It's a brown khaki. For under eye application, I use a flat liner brush.

im not sure if i would repurchase, will have to keep experimenting but for now this is what i think: its a beautiful khaki color, a dark forest green mixed with brown, i see gold flecks. its very difficult to get a precise line as the crayon is very creamy and glides on like butter. it doesn't set fast so you have time to smudge. oily lid gals definitely use a primer with this. i will update once i use this more but for now, its really nice, creamy and fantastic color payoff. you will have to use a brush to take some color off the tip if you want to use this as an eyeliner.

These long wearing eye shadows are really easy to work with and blends very well. Once settled they last all day and do not smudge. You need a good makeupremover to take it off as it settles really well. The kaki (greenish brown) has a subtle golden shimmer to it, very elegant. You can apply this straight from the stick or use a brush for more precise application. If finding anything to change, that would be it - the stick itself is quite chubby so you really need a brush if you want a very precise appication, for instance if you want to use this as a liner. Maybe it is a tradeoff as it is very creamy, it might be too soft to be a less chubby stick. The fact that it is in a stick form makes it very portable as well. Highly recommend!

LOVE this product! This color is brownish, taupey, with just a hint of khaki, not too glittery and looks beautiful on brown eyes. It applies like a cream with time to smudge before it sets. Doesn't move til I wash it off easily w/soap + water. Great for a quick made up eye. Highly recommend and WILL buy again!

Above average taupe pigment, with added fleck. Has the appearance of thick crayon, which makes precise application difficult. Unique formula. Dries quickly, so need to work fast to blend. That said, won't budge once applied. If applied too thickly, leaves an irritating wet sensation on skin.

My initial reaction to this was "shoot, another fail", but I kept trying and I'm glad I did. The color is a lovely olivey green/brownish black.

I favor application with a somewhat fluffy synthetic brush rather than applying directly from the stick. You only have to use a little bit to get opaque, blendable color onto the lids.

Lasts all day, no creasing.

My search is now over!! Amazing product- goes on easily, yet blendable. It stays on all day without any creasing! I also have this in steel, which also goes great with my brown eyes. The plum is great, too. I thought the smoke was too glittery for my over-50 eyes. My powder eye shadows are now gathering dust!!!

I love the greenish-brown color of this stick and it's durability. I throw it on my entire lid when I'm running late and it makes for a slightly smokey, dramatic eye with minimal effort. Doesn't budge at all for me and you need a hearty amount of makeup remover to get it off. I'd def repurchase though.

I love the dark color of this - works beautifully on my dark brown eyes and the color doesn't look unnatural at all. The issue I have with it is it's very thick and soft for an eyeliner - I haven't figured out how to use it for a more natural look. Instead I use it for more dramatic looks with heavier eye makeup and then go lighter with blush and lippie. It's so thick it seems that maybe it's intended as more of a creamy shadow crayon but it was too heavy when I tried to use it in the crease. But as a dramatic-looks eyeliner I really like it and I will for sure purchase it again.

Love these! I have Khaki and Sapphire. I dot them against the upper lash line (from above) and smudge into the lash line. Makes my lashes look fuller with just a subtle amount of color. My eyes/lashes... but better :) Love!

The Caviar Sticks have been hit-or-miss for me. Amethyst and Plum are great, but Cocoa and Khaki have been just *ok*. The concept is great, and the more blendable and buildable colors are wonderful, but what makes Khaki just ok is its texture.


The color itself is nice. It's a warm-leaning khaki (not green, not brown, but a greenish-brown) on me with a little shimmer. The shimmer is barely noticeable except in bright daylight. It's neutral enough that it would work with other neutral or warm colors.


What makes me not love this is how hard it can be to work with. It dries quickly and isn't super-easy to blend. I basically apply this right from the stick near the lashline and immediately blend with my fingers--applying with a brush as an e/s just didn't work for me, as the color didn't go on as evenly and didn't blend as well. They last a few hours, but even over a primer can crease.


While I can't say that this is a bad product, the lack of blendability and creasing make me hesitate to recommend it. It really seems that the Caviar Stick formula depends a little on the color, because I love Amethyst.
