I wasn't originally planning on buying Quick Sizzle from the Shop MAC Cook MAC collection...to me, it seemed like an intimidatingly bright color. I don't have any other colors like this in my collection and I usually stay away from bright hot pinks...but this one I couldn't pass up for some reason. When I swatched it, I thought it was quite pretty, although definitely not for the shy...Quick Sizzle is a bright, bright hot pink with a hint of fushcia. It's a bold lipstick color, that's for sure. While I like the color, I'm not sure I would buy it again or buy any other shades similar to this. One bright, bright hot pink is enough to last me for a while...I would actually give this 4.5 stars.

MAC Quick Sizzle lipstick is a matte hot pink. It is more moisturising than most mattes however. It is long lasting and leaves a slight stain on your lips even if most of it has come off. As for the colour itself, it is a medium hot pink, with slightly bluish undertones that are definitely flattering on the teeth making them appear a bit whiter! On my lips it turns a bit more bluish than on the tube.
Compared to other hot pink lipsticks, MAC Quick Sizzle seems brighter than Girl About Town, which is a tad darker and a lot glossier. MAC Quick Sizzle is also darker and more reddish than Petals and Peacocks or MAC Gladiola, which are more blue-based. Sleek MakeUP Amp is brighter and more blue-based than MAC Quick Sizzle.

I think this is the must-have product in the collection, which is ironic as it wasn't on my list to begin with. The photos and swatches online don't do it justice at all, you should definitely check this out at your local shop when available.

I had been debating about whether I needed this shade, but the thing that sold me was its finish, matte. I love matte lipsticks, and Quick Sizzle is gorgeous, a perfect bright pink with a blue undertone. I feel it may be a little bit more drying than my other matte lipsticks, but it's not something that really bothers me, and as everyone has already said, Quick Sizzle leaves a lovely stain on the lips which looks amazing!

An epic shade!
Non-drying, great pigmentation, long lasting power.
I'm not sure which I love more: the shade when I first apply it or the beautiful stain that's left over at the end of the day.
Really makes my green eyes POP!

I was debating on which lipstick to purchase from the Cook/Shop MAC collection and I am SO happy I chose Quick Sizzle. Its a pretty, vibrant blue based pink with a matte finish. I wore this all day yesterday with otherwise neutral makeup and I felt so pretty. I don't think its too OTT for normal, daily wear as long as the rest of your makeup is toned down. It was long lasting and when it did finally wear away it left a nice stain on my lips. I love it and am considering picking up a backup since it is LE.

Quick Sizzle is a beautiful bright pink, almost fuschia, matte lipstick. I picked it up the day it was released at my local PRO shop and it was the second last one left! It is a matte but it is not drying at all. The colour lasted 6 hours on me and only came off when I ate. It's too bad it is a limited edition because it is so beautiful.

LE from the Shop Cook collection. This color is a super vibrant stunning shade of pink, it's a bit of a dark fuschia with a blue tone underneath.I'm not a color expert but this shade screams 80's to me. Would be perf for an 80's party. The pigmentation is awesome. This is an attention getting shade for sure. Loud mouth pink!
