I was so excited to receive this. I have seen Stacey Schieffelin on HSN quite a few times, and I love how she does her whole face right there while you're watching. I hadn't tried any of her makeup until I saw this mascara duo for sale on Ideeli. I had a gift certificate from my birthday, and I needed some new mascara, so I bought it. I waited a long time - over a month, and when I finally received it, I couldn't wait to try it as I was going out that night.

When I got around to putting the primer on, it was almost like nothing was on the brush. At first I thought oh yay! It's not white like other primers! But putting the wand back into the tube a few times the primer started to fill out the wand and yes - it was white. But being open-minded to a new experience, I just carried on with the second part - the mascara.

It was terrible. Once again, I loaded the brush with product before I applied it. There was hardly anything going on, and of course, the white stayed white. I had to break out my trusty L'Oreal mascara to fill in the rest and try my hardest to cover that white primer. The packaging itself is pretty, but I don't like pretty packages on mascaras and eyeliners. They should be easy to manipulate, not boxy and clunky like this stuff is.

I gave it 2 lippies instead of 1 because with a different mascara I can still use the primer. Highly disappointed in the mascara. :(
