Bought this in hope that this would lighten my acne scars and dark spots. After 2 months, I don't see improvement in this respect, but overall skintone seems to have improved slightly.

i use this product together with the midnight recovery concentrate and it really workes well. after two weeks of us, my skintone is more even and looks brighter and the acne scars faded a little. i will continue to use this and give a update.

Major disappointment. Did nothing for dark spots or pigmentation. I really tried with this stuff and used it religiously in conjunction with the toner.
Total waste of money.
Awful slippy texture, alcohol sting and takes ages to absorb. Also fiddly and fragile packaging and all the instructions and labelling wore off within 2 weeks!
I bought numerous products of Kiehls while in the States and visiting Dubai and to my disappointment I found them to be waste of money. In my opinion Kiehls is totally overrated and overpriced. Sub standard products disguised in niche apothecary packaging to appeal to hipster market.
I have used a lot of their products and spent a fortune and the only thing that is worth buying is the Ultimate strength hand salve.
For dark spots look no further than Obagi Nu derm at least that works and is worth spending money on rather than this rubbish.

I am gutted. Wanted this for ages but have been using this for 3 weeks and can barely see a difference. What I have noticed is my skin is rough and bumpy where I've used it. I am annoyed I wasted my money but glad I didn't purchase the large size bottle. If I lived in the US I would definitely return this.

A few months ago I went to Kiehl's and splurged on a new skin care regime. This is the first product that I used consistently, so I'm pretty certain my initial improvement in my skin was due to this, but I'm not 100% sure. Just a disclaimer. That said, my skin has brightened, lost a lot of its acne scarring, decreased in pimple size, frequency, and duration, and has improved in overall texture.
As for the packaging, I actually prefer the sample size bottle — it has a smaller dropper. I keep the sample bottle sitting out on my counter for daily use (and travel! It's the perfect size!), and then I refill it from the big bottle when it runs out.
The lippy off because the bottle is kinda clunky without the little bottle, to the point that when I bought Kiehl's "Midnight Recovery Concentrate" I made sure I got a sample size with it.

After using this just one time, my skin broke out like mad! I tried stop using it, my pimples showed signs of clearing and I tried the product again and it revived my pimples again.
Although it did lighten my skintone and my dark spots are lighter but I can't use it!
I suggest people to get samples to try before investing in a bottle.

Expensive price, to remove dark spots on my face. Work after 3 days, worth the price.

I have used Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution for 6 days. I can see a bit of lightening for my dark spots. However, it is still too early to tell. Will update again in 4 weeks time if it really works.
So far there's no breakout on my skin. Texture wise? It's still the same. I used in conjunction with powerful strength line reducing serum and midnight recovery oil, and I wake up to soft, glowy and bright skin. I have used the line reducing serum previously on its own, and though it had brighten my skin, however, there's no effect on my dark spots. So I reckon the dark spot solution does work in lightening my spots.
I had managed to get 4 weeks of samples. I guess if it works, I'll purchase the full size bottle.

Kiehl's is really generous with their samples and after trying it out, I had to go back and purchase the full size bottle along with their clearly corrective toner and emulsion.
I started using kiehl's after a recommendation from a friend. With the stress of work, my skin can sometime get really dull and lack lustre. I bought the kiehl's clearly corrective line not really with whitening in mind but more so to even out and brighten my skin tone. It works wonders together with kiehls powerful line reducing concentrate to deliver loads of vitamin c to skin. When I am on the go and have no time to do a proper skin care ritual, I would put a few drops of the dark spot solution and mix it in with my moisturizer and gently rub it over my face and neck, patting and pressing as I go along. After researching more about kiehl's I found out that you can create your own facial mask with the clarifying toner and dark spot solution. Tried it and it's amazing. You basically fill a small bottle cap with the toner, add 3 drops of dark spot solution into the toner and put a compressed face mask inside, once the mask has soaked up the solution, put it on your face for 10 mins and your skin will feel hydrated, toned and bright. A great pick me up and pampering session!

I've been using this for the past couple weeks with the goal of fading a brown spot on my cheek. Unfortunately, in that regard it hasn't been very successful. However, my skin tone and texture overall has improved greatly with this serum, so I imagine that overtime my skin will be resurfaced enough to lead to gradual fading of that brown spot. I'm concerned that this serum is packaged in a clear glass bottle though - if it's vitamin C based, shouldn't it be in a darkened bottle to prevent light from breaking it down? Overall, there are many other serums I'd like to try before shelling out money for this one, although for smoother and more even skin, this one isn't bad.
