I love foundation. I've used everything from Lancôme to Revlon, MAC to the Body Shop.
I also love BB creams and my favorites are the Korean brands.

So this was my first foray into tinted moisturizers.

I have to say I was impressed by the great coverage and the way this felt on my skin. Very smooth and easy to apply. It spread like a dream. For me coverage was medium, more than some foundations.

The satin finish has lasted nicely through the day and while most people say it's glowy, I do not see that at all. I have dry skin though so that may be the difference.

Love this and would continue to use it!

First, let me get into some background. The only reason i've given this product an overall 4 out of 5 is because it's the only TM i've tried so I don't feel like i'm at liberty to say it's the best when I really haven't tried any others. Also, I feel like it's only fair to make a note of how I use the product to tell you how it works best with my skin.
I have the colour Groenland and by itself, the TM works just fine but can get you a little greasy around the forehead/nose (which is not only acceptable but expected cause TM's don't typically control oil). So what I do is that I first LIGHTLY moisturise my face and mix the NARS TM, my sunblock, primer and a DROP of my liquid bronzer (only because the colour is just a tad lighter than I am) and I apply it even on my face. Oh. My. God. The result is beautiful. It dries amazingly on the skin and it has a flawless finish. It'll look a little white because of the sunblock at first but lol don't worry about it.

For me this has the perfect coverage cause I suffer mostly from slight discolouration and this covers it really well.

Also this is a LOT of product. 50 ml is quite substantial and it'll last you a while (especially since this is supposed to be used for around everyday).

The colour problem for me was that I feel like my current colour (or more accurately my Winter Colour) is something between Groenland and St. Moritz but like I said I just use some of my bronze drops (another alternative is to use those Cover FX drops), but I will also be purchasing St Moritz once summer rolls in because I feel like this is a product truly worth having.

NARS hits the nail on the head once more!

So after a very disappointing run with NARS sheer glow foundation, I went back to exchange it for what I originally intended to get which is this Tinted Moisturizer. The SA discouraged me initially from buying this because I had a lot of breakouts at the time and she said the TM was way too sheer. When I returned the NARS glow and exchanged it for this TM, I got the same SA and I could tell she was pissy about me not liking the glow. Fortunately, my skin has cleared up considerably and I just LOVE this TM!!!!!

Pros:
-So easy to blend. I moisturize because I live in a very dry climate and it's winter. I then just rub a dime size all over my face. This evens out texture and small spots. I then cover a 2nd time and this gives slightly more coverage and I blend in with a brush. I then dab concealer where needed for extra coverage. Top with NARS bronzer. SO beautiful.
-Finish is sort of glowy to start. It can get a little too shiny as the day wear on but I just blot and it seems to work.
-Color. I'm between NC25 and 30 and I have this in Groeland. I would say this is NOT the same color (which made me look red) in the glow foundation. It comes out looking lighter. Once it settles, it looks natural and a shade darker.
-Cannot see pores and doesn't cause breakouts.
Cons:
-Except for the price, I really don't have many cons. I have to use a little more product than most to get light to medium coverage.

Overall, this has been a GREAT replacement for my discontinued CK one foundation. It's light weight, I don't feel made up, very natural looking, light to medium coverage, lasts fairly long. Above all, NO BREAK OUTS! Just so natural looking and I was worried with a foundation with less coverage but my skin looks great when I use this. Very happy!!!!

I purchased this after getting my makeup done at a department store. I have mixed feelings about it. I am very low maintenance and basically wanted one product to even out my skin tone and make me look somewhat put together. I was told Alaska Light 2 would be my match (forgive me I have no idea if I am NC or NW or what number).
Pros: Coverage is sheer (which I expected; I wasn't looking for a "foundation"). I love the fact that it has sunscreen. It does even out my complexion. It doesn't seem to oxidize on my face. It does not break me out (shockingly, as almost everything does). I thought my skin was starting to look better after using it for a while.
Cons: I have to agree with other reviewers in the respect that it highlights dry patches and settles into lines and yet in oily areas looks really shiny after a few hours. I use it both with and without moisturizer underneath depending on winter or summer use.
Price seems expensive for a tinted moisturizer.

I would probably repurchase despite the cost although I'm sure there are other tinted moisturizers with sunscreen that provide sheer coverage at a fraction of the cost. However I don't want to waste time or money trying product after product.

Over the past year and a half I've been making an attempt to look more put together and figured one of the ways I could achieve that was by using a tinted moisturizer. I was and still am too afraid to use a full coverage foundation - I just needed something to even out my skin tone (like a lot of black girls, I have a few PIH spots), not do any heavy-duty masking. This provides just the right amount of coverage without covering my freckles or looking obvious. I don't use this everyday, maybe 2-3 times a week, and after about a year I still have half of the bottle left. I should note that I've used this both with and without additional moisturizer under (during winter and summer, respectively) and the results are great either way. I also always apply additional sunscreen under it with no adverse effects. To echo what some reviewers have already mentioned, if you have flakes the pigment will catch onto them and make them more noticeable. I pull most of my flakes off if I catch them anyway (is this bad?), so I kind of appreciate that it spotlights them. The only downside to this tinted moisturizer would be the price, but the quality is great and a little goes a long way, so I think it's justified.

I decided to purchase this product based on a couple of recommendations. I had heard that it makes your skin look luminous and glowy. A couple of people also said that for a tinted moisturiser the coverage was quite good.

Plus points are that it definitely feels like you've got nothing on your face and looks natural but only if you don't wear a concealer or anything else on top. I felt that the coverage was sheer. It being a tinted moisturiser I was obviously not expecting a lot in this department but I felt the coverage was below par compared to the Bobbi Brown tinted moisturizer which I used to use. I decided to put on some concealer to hide some blemishes and as I have dark circles I applied by Bobbi Brown corrector and concealer. The NARS tinted moisturizer does not play well with other products in my opinion. Once I added my normal concealer it looked cakey, patchy, and quite horrible.

Also regarding the claims of giving you glowing skin. I did not get that impression. My Missha M Signature Real BB Cream does much much better in that department, plays well with my other products, and has the right coverage level for everyday wear (for me personally).

I personally will not be repurchasing it. I think this tinted moisturizer is only good if you already have very good skin. I may give it another try once some of my dark spots fade away but for now I don't like it.

This tinted moisturizer is my fall back product that I can ALWAYS rely on.
I'm in the shade groenland and I'm mac NC25. This is great year round for every day coverage and never fails to make my skin look glowing and covers enough of my redness etc for a very natural look. It is especially good in winter when my skin is exposed to dry cool air and I come home and my skin is not dry at all. It doesn't break me out and just gives the most natural but still beautiful coverage. Love the product however two things I will say about this is that
1. I have reasonably dry - normal skin but I have a oily t-zone which this does nothing for. The product comes off in this area and I would probably not recommend this for anyone with extremely oily skin.
2. The packaging looks great but I have had a couple of incidents where I've taken it travelling and maybe its my lack of care perhaps but it has leaked out of the lid as it is a squeeze bottle.
Despite this it still remains my go-to everyday moisturizer as I do not suffer with acne naturally, but do have acne prone skin to SO many products, as well as so many products that dry out my skin and give me eczema. Love this product so much and has a really nice glowing finish to it.

Well after struggling with acne for several years I was then left with dull uneven skin and scars. I was looking for a very light daily product that would brighten my face and at the same time would not break me out.
I picked up Nars after reading good reviews. This product has not broken me out even a single time. Plus it has sunscreen an added bonus. However I don't think it is moisturizing. The first time I applied it, it felt flaky. So I always moisturize before applying this product.
Also, another con was it makes my pitted scars look more prominent. I then got to know that a good primer could help camouflage pores. Besides that this is a great product if you want a radiant look on your face. But dont expect this product alone to give you a flawless look.
