This self tanner is awesome! It's not orange and doesn't get all streaky. I prefer this over any self-tanner out there. I used it and im an NC 30-35 color and my friend used it and she's extremely pale. It worked on both of us! It's around 24 dollars at ulta but they always have some kind of coupon, so it came out to around $18. Also, I used it on my face and didn't break out. The smell is amazing too! A must!

Before I found this, I was in love with BE Faux Tan, which is still great, but it took awhile to dry, and longer to apply. This is quick drying, easy and fast to apply. I like to apply it for 2-3 nights, and then maintain with either Jergens or L'Oreal daily glow type products....by doing this, I can get by 10 days to 2 weeks without having to reapply, unless I am swimming often. Another benefit, if it is not hot, and you won't be sweating, I have actually applied it before going somewhere I wanted to wear a dress, and it makes my legs look really tan. My only negatives to this product, is that it really isn't travel friendly, as it always leaks no matter what I have tried....other than that, I can't complain! Give it a try!

So I have NEVER self tanned before because I was afraid of looking orange like some people. But finding this and the reviews I tried to give it a go! I get tan very easily but I cannot have tan lines anymore and don't have time to lay at the beach (I refuse to use tanning beds).
LOVE. I have used it once now (just on my legs so far). I put it on at night it didn't really take much at all!! And look a shower in the morning. Very little came off and I kept a gorgeous tan! YES!!
Oh and also this was a GREAT price, 13 bucks on amazon, free shipping :D
Tips:
1. CUT THE TUBE! It is way too long so if you don't cut it a bit shorter it WILL leak!
2. The mit will have little fuzzies come off the first time you use it. Just wash it and let it air dry you will have none.
I will add to this review after a week then a month to review longevity and multiple uses ect.

There's something that's really bugging me and I have to say something about it. People keep complaining that they apply their tan, shower the next day, and "most of the tan washes off in the shower." People, THIS IS NOT THE TAN WASHING OFF! If you'll remember, when you applied the product it had a color guide/instant bronzer. THIS IS TEMPORARY! What you see immediately after appyling a sunless tanner with a color guide/bronzer IS NOT YOUR TAN. IT'S THE COLOR GUIDE. It's not meant to last, and yes, it WILL wash off in the shower! This does not mean it's a poor product or that it isn't doing what it's "supposed" to do. PLEASE keep that in mind. DHA is what gives you the "tan" color, and it absorbs and reacts with your skin and STAYS until your skin naturally exfoliates or you manually exfoliate it off yourself. Swimming can also make it fade quicker. But DHA *does not* "wash off!" So don't be disappointed or give a sunless tanner a lower rating if you see the color guide washing off in the shower. That's exactly what it's meant to do! If you're not as dark as you want to be afer the color guide washes off, that just means you need to find a darker product or keep applying to build color.
I gave a very early review and said I would be back to update it, so here it is! First, I'll recap my first application: Smelled amazing. Applied SO quickly and easily, and dried even faster. I literally couldn't even feel that I had self tanner on; it was amazing! The color guide is a nice, light, natural color and didn't transfer to pajamas or sheets. Unfortunately with just one applicaiton I was left with very little color. It was definitely a light tan. So I applied again the next night and ended up with the depth that I wanted. I do think the product continued to develop a while past the 6-8 hours stated on the packaging as I was even darker later that day and the next morning. The color I get from this product is a very natural golden brown tan but also with some pink to it, which makes sense since the color guide is pink based. I naturally tan very very golden - so much so that it sometimes looks orangey. So for me, this gives a color I like more than my natural tan as it has a slight pink/peach tone to it as well. I used this on my face and it tanned it VERY well and didn't cause any breakouts or dryness.
Now here's the negative stuff. First, I only want to have to apply my self tanner once a week. I do much tanning after my son goes to bed and I like to get to bed pretty soon after. And as I said before, I also live with my boyfriend and going to bed with self tanner on kind of inhibits certain activities... So once a week is enough for me. And I only want something between a light and medium tan, so I don't think that's asking too much out of one application. I did apply this fairly sparingly the first time because I didn't know how dark it would be. I will try to apply more generously with the first application next time, but it sounds like others have an issue with it being too light, too. It does build very well, but I don't want to have to do that every week. So that may be a fixable issue... We'll see.
Now for the non fixable issue. I have somewhat sensitive skin. In the past when I've used sunless tanners, many of them would cause mild-moderate itching, always in the same areas. Since I've taken up sunless tanning again, it's happened on the side of my upper right arm, on my lower back, and a little on my neck. With the products I've used lately it's been very mild and not really an issue. But a little less than 24 hours after my second application of this, my lower back began itching like crazy. It's gotten a little better each day, but it's still there. I didn't get any hives or bumps; just a red, itchy rash that also burns like a sunburn. It's definitely bad enough to make me never want to use it on my back again. That's not an overly huge deal, as I can just use my Million Dollar Tan Tan Icon Extreme Spray there instead (that one doesn't make me itch at all anywhere). But in addition to that, it also made my eyelids itchy after applying on my face. As if that wasn't bad enough, when I washed and dried my face the other night I saw SIX really long eyelashes that had fallen out. That's definitely NOT normal for me. I don't just lose eyelashes in clumps like that. The next morning I felt like there was a loose lash so I took a look, touched the area, and three lashes came off from my lower lash line. So this is definitely out for use on my face as well, which is a shame because it tanned it SO well. Again, I can always use something else there but those two itchy problems combined mean that this could never be an HG product for me. It's really disappointing because I do LOVE the color it gives me, along with the ease of application. Before I knew this was going to make me itch so badly I went on ebay and ordered a bottle of their 60 Minute Tan thinking it might make me darker quicker, but now I'm afraid it will make me itch, too. This might be a product I reserve for winter when I would just tan my legs, arms, and chest. As of now I would have to say I wouldn't repurchase this. I like the color so much that I would be willing to apply it two nights to get the depth that I want, but the itching issue kind of ruins it for me.
ETA: It's now been 8 days since my first application and 7 since my second. I have to say that fading with this product has been amazing. I still have a good amount of color on my upper body and my legs look really decent too, though they're probably ready for a new application. Fading has been VERY even and natural and it's a very long-lasting sunless tanner. (I even went swimming!) I'm so bummed that this made me itch. Would definitely be an HG otherwise. Will continue to test at various times to see if the reaction stops.

Halleluja! This product is a dream come true!
This would be the simplest and best colour tan I've ever used. So easy to just spray on your skin, rub it in and you are good to go!
You probably have to wait maybe 2-3 mins before dressing because it dries so quickly and the colour is gorgeous! It's perfect if you are short on time but need a gorgeous glow.
I love how it comes with rubber gloves and a mitt - Fake Bake have thought of everything. Very cost effective too. I don't spray it on my face though because I feel it looks a little too dark for me.
I always have an even tan when I use this, and it fades naturally - you won't get any patchyness with this tan!

This product is exactly what I was aiming for! I love it!
I was looking for a great self tanner that wouldn't cost too much, would give me a great, even, strong tan (that doesn't look fake like those girls people make fun of, but one that actually would look as if I just got back from a vacation in the Caribbean) for someone like me- I have highly sensitive and dry skin, and atopic dermatitis. That is very hard to do. I've tried multiple types of lotions and creams of all sorts, but all got me itching like a maniac by the end of the day (sometimes even the hour), and didn't work for me that much in terms of an actual tan.
I am light skinned, borderline fair skin, so it means a lot if something actually gives me an actual tan.
This stuff was amazing. I'm in love with it. I used it two days ago, and I no longer wear any foundation (I actually just add a little cream blush on my cheeks to make it look more realistic. I know, I'm crazy!) because it makes me glow. I don't use eye makeup, because my green eyes just pop with the tan, the way they do when you get that bronze glow.
It doesn't smell, it dries super quickly so I can just go ahead and put my clothes back on in a matter of just a couple of minutes, and they actually recommend sleeping with it- which means no more awkward standing with arms and legs spread waiting for it to dry enough so I could just sit down even.
It didn't rub off on any of my clothes, which is pretty remarkable, considering I actually sprayed some on my arms and back, put on white silk pajamas and went to sleep, and nothing came off.
I am so in love with this. My skin isn't irritated, I look healthy and tanned and feel amazing.
The smell is great too, no more harsh chemical smells.
Oh, and application process was so quick, I was actually like: "wait, what? I'm all done? No way!"
That night I immediately bought 2 more bottles, just in case.
I would recommend this to people who've been looking for that awesome glowing tan, but never found the right product for them.
I wouldn't recommend this to people who don't want that much of a tan, and just want some gradual glow. For that I'd highly recommend Jergens, actually. This is a tan for pulling all the stops, without looking fake, at all.
I'm so happy I bought this :)

Ive been using this product for about a month and a half. The first thing you should know about this self tanner is that it really doesn't last, and is very gradual! I have to use it Daily. It's only possible to get so tan with this product, and after that point you have to continue using it daily to maintain it. I couldn't tell you exactly how long a bottle lasts but it doesn't run out quickly for me and I think it's well worth the fourteen dollars I paid on amazon for it. It is very easy to apply with the mitt, and I just stick the mitt on a back brush to get my back. It's color gaurd, a bronzer that makes it possible for you to see where the tanner is going, looks natural and I like to apply it in the morning because I look much more tan with the color gaurd on than I do after I shower! Let me add that if you do choose to go out with the color gaurd on, make sure you apply the tanner in the sunlight in a well lit room! And let me tell you, when you shower, that beautiful looking tan mostly washes off. However, I am a very fair skinned individual. After showering I am left with a little color, but not near as much as I'd like. Its not easy to make a mistake with this stuff however! And the smell isn't bad at all. It goes on smelling like sunscreen and after a few hours you can barely smell the self tanner odor, I'm sure only yourself would notice it! Fake bake flawless dries quickly but beware, wearing white clothes or sleeping on light sheets will leave color on them.
Since I've tried this self tanner, I haven't looked for another to try. I think I might, however, because after so long I feel that it's not really working anymore, sort of like I've built a resistance to it, if there was such a thing. Maybe it just me. And I want something that lasts longer, so that I don't have to use it every day!

I absolutely love this self tanner.
I'm fair to medium with red hair and blue eyes. This gives me a believable tan that isn't orange. I looked bronzed. I also love the application mitt that is included. It gives truly streak free tanning.
I will keep purchasing this!

Okay, so I usually don't write many reviews but I feel like this would be helpful for other acne-prone gals like me. So I always avoided self tanners not because I didn't want to be tan, but because I was afraid it would worsen my chest and back acne. I have very very sensitive acne-prone skin, and I was afraid that putting this will clog my pores on my chest and back and will create madness on my skin. Oh, and when I say I have ance on my back and chest I mean it is craycray. Anyway, I'm quite pale since I wear spf 50 on my face everyday and I avoid spending time in the sun because I want to prevent wrinkles. After extensive research of different sunless tanner products, I finally chose to pick this fabulous product since it was relatively cheap and it got good reviews from Amazon.com and by Youtube gurus. I picked it up 3 days ago and since then I've been using it every night and haven't experienced any breakouts at all, if anything my back and chest look clearer and my acne scars are starting to blend in more. Oh, and by the way I did not have the courage to put this on my face or neck so I can not comment on if it will break you out there. Okay, on to the product itself. When I went to Ulta they ran out of the regular size so I purchased the travel size instead. It comes with two blue gloves, a mitt to help distribute the product, a spray pump, and the bottle of self tanner. You can choose to use either the spray pump or just pour it out, but I suggest you use the spray pump, it's a lot easier. Since this is the first time I have ever used a self tanner, I am not an expert so there were some streaking but the I am the one to blame for it since I did not use it correctly. I fixed the problem the day after by applying lemon juice to the streak and it was not noticeable anymore. This self tanner does not make my skin look orange, it just makes me look a very nice golden bronze. Remember, you must exfoliate and moisturize only your dry parts (knuckles, elbows, knees, ankles) before applying self tanners. I apply this at night time because I don't want to ruin my tan by washing my hands throughout the day or anything. If you're searching for a self tanner and have acne-prone skin, I highly recommend this product :)

AWESOME product!
I have been using Banana Boat tanning lotion which is also streak-free however, I decided not to use it anymore only because it contains 5 types of parabens. I saved some money and splurged on this spray and oh my gosh, I love it!
I am NC 20 and I am always afraid to look orange and fake after tanning. After the first application of this stuff my skin turned a beautiful golden, sun-kissed bronzed look. I don't like a deep bronzed look, so I think I will only apply it twice a week. But if you want a deeper color just apply it during a few consecutive days to build a desired tan.
To avoid the tan wearing off too fast and unevenly, make sure to maintain it with a gradual tanning lotion, like St. Tropez or Malibu's Hemp tanning lotion.

I LOVE this stuff! I'm going on 27 and I have been using tanning beds year round for nearly 10 years (horrible, I know!) and finally swore them off for good last month. I have been using Fake Bake Flawless for the last month and this stuff is amazing!
I actually spray this onto my body and rub it in with the mitt using small, circular motions. I love how the color guide in this is tinted so I can see where the product is going. One of my favorite things about this is that it dries within minutes so I can put my clothes on without worrying about staining them or messing up my tan.
I usually end up using this at night before bed and when I wake up the next morning, the color guide rinses off in the shower and I'm left with a nice, deep brown tan. No orange whatsoever and no streaking! This has a nice coconut/tropical smell during application, but it does have the unpleasant DHA smell after a few hours. If you're used to self tanning, this won't bother you.
I usually apply this 2x a week and my tan stays nice. When this does start to fade, it fades naturally and not patchy at all.
I think this is a definite must have if you're interested in trying a self tanner for the first time or even if you're looking for something new. You can't mess this up! Will definitely repurchase.

I love this self-tanner! I have repurchased it several times and it never fails to impress me! Last summer I was always on the hunt for a fake tan that wouldn't give my fair skin an orange tint. I tried brands such as St Tropez, Guerlain, and many drug store ones, however none of them seemed to give me the natural bronzed look I wanted - until I found this. As opposed to having an orange undertone, it has more of a pink undertone, offering a much more natural look and a brown colour that isn't in the slightest bit orange at all. It doesn't leave you smelling like a biscuit tin either! There are many good things I could say about this product! I would recommend following the instructions (leaving it on overnight) for the best results. Will definitely be repurchasing again!

There are no words to describe how much I love this product. The fact that I have now repurchased 3 times says a lot. I am of a medium complexion that tans easily in the summer time and as with most self-tanners, I could not stand the orange color that my skin turned a few hours after use. With this self-tanner, the color is exactly the same color as my skin in the summer time, minus the UV damage. I love that I can now have a year round glow! Amazing product that I will continue to repurchase as long as it is made! (Also love "the Face" for my face and neck).

Okay so i really like this product! it is super easy to apply and doesn't streak as long as you use the mitt (which i highly recommend with any tanning product). I love the colour it gives you but only from the second day onwards. I applied this at night and the next morning had a shower. I was significantly darker..slightly orange and consequently didnt think i liked it..but then after a second shower that same night, the next day I looked naturally brown and gorgeous. Im still looking for my HG self tanner . This rates pretty high but definitely be wary of going OTT with this one.
**UPDATE while i love this product, i have tried other tanning products since and really think this is the type of tanner to use when you are already tan just to deepen your colour. It is quite orangey compared to other tanners. For reference i have asian nc25-30 skin typically without any tan

I wish I could give this product a zero review.
The first time I bought this, I was over the moon happy. It made me sooo dark and it applied very evenly. It stained my clothes big time but who cares, I was tan. The color washed off in the morning and the color it left me with was dramatically lighter. But still, very happy with it. I exfoliated once a week and used the product twice a week.
I didn't use it for two weeks because I had to reorder it. This is where things got funny. My skin got so patchy and so weird looking I looked like I had a rare skin disease. It was so embarrassing. The second that my Fake bake came in the mail I used it in hopes of getting tan again and not live like a sick freak. And then things got even funnier. the tan applied so unevenly. Parts of my body weren't tanning. my skin got even worse. my chest area was pale. my lower legs were pale and so were parts of my arms. I kept exfoliating and using it in hopes that it would work. But nothing worked. I emailed the company and of course they tell me that I had to use their exfoliated and their moisturizer or whatever. Um why? First off I had their exfoliated and it sucked. And second off, if a product is only going to work with a certain brand's product they should put that in the box or in the advertisement. I immediately stopped using it all together and it took 2 and a half months for all the patches to go away. I talked to my best friend who initially told me about it and she said it did the same thing to her. In fact her bottle turned green after two weeks of use. We both decided to purchase the st tropez tanning mousse and good god am I happy that i did. It is pricier but so much more worth it. Oh and let me not even get onto the Fake Bake face tanning shit.

I LOVE this product! I'm pretty faired skin and this works wonders! I do get a bit of a tan in the summer, but with this I don't have to worry about burning or anything! This gives such a gorgeous glow, better than any other self tanners I have tried. I definitely recommend this to ANYONE who wants a beautiful bronze glow/tan. I 100% will repurchase this. Though the only con I have to say about this, would be the mitt. It tends to fall of while you are applying the product, but definitely fixable if you use a rubber band around the wrist to hold it in place!

Best self bronzer EVER. I've been using this for about 6 months since I decided to stop using tanning beds. I tried tons of products before this one and they did not last very long or the color was bad but this products is great, so glad I came across products reviews on YouTube. It comes with a mitt and blue latex gloves and the spray bottle. It gives me the most natural and perfect color on my skin. It pretty much smells like a self tanner, maybe a tiny bit better, but I apply it right before going to bed and when I wake up I shower so the smell goes away and is not a problem for me. The box says that in order to maintain the color you must use it about once a week but I have found that I need to reapply every 4 days to maintain my color. I wish it lasted a bit longer but it's the best I've found. Also I'm acne prone and I use this in my face as well and absolutely no break outs ever. Love it!!
