In LOVE with this product! I tried it on a whim and am so satisfied with it. Lengthens and thickens the appearance of your lashes, doesn't flake, and stays on all day. Best $5 I've spent on a cosmetics product!

This mascara is just annoying on so many levels. The brush is too big, too much product comes out on it, and it clumps easily. As well as that it starts to fall onto my cheeks after an hour or so, creating some ugly small spots - definitely not a fresh feeling.

Wanted to try clump crusher, but my local drugstore didn't have it so I decided to take a chance on scandaleyes. I could see how this mascara might be nice for someone with naturally long lashes; it defines pretty well. So NOT volumizing, though. Definitely not lengthening either. This mascara did nothing for my short, fine lashes, even with multiple layers. I liked the concept of the brush but like other reviewers have said it's just bulky and awkward in practice.
Guess i'll just go back to l'oreal false fiber mascara- I love that stuff.

This review is for the waterproof version (not sure if there's a non-wp version, but just wanted to clarify).
I bought this on a whim, when I knew that I would be crying later.
It is waterproof, I'll give it that, but that's all it's got going for it.
I have naturally very long, curled, blonde lashes. It's very easy for me to get a faux lash look with most mascaras, as long as they're black. Not with this one, though.
It weighed my lashes down and straightened them out. I've never ever had that happen before! Never had a mascara give me droopy lashes, ever, but this one did, and then some! Into the trash it goes.

As an Asian, it's not easy to pick a nice mascara in Europe. Personally this one is much better for those who already have long and curly lashes. I won't buy it any more. Rimmel's other products are fine but I'm always get stuck with its mascaras. :(

This mascara definitely is a great volumizing & separating mascara! I have fairly short & thin lashes & this didn't really lengthen my lashes as much compared to other mascaras that I've tried but it is a volumizing mascara so I had my doubts to begin with so I'll probably end up layering my mascaras. It never clumps & its thick brush coats each lash. Definitely recommend to those who have long lashes & are looking for a volumizing mascara!

This is my holy grail mascara and will repurchase!
+ Adds volume and length in a way that I haven't seen other mascaras in this price range do. I have tried Clinique in the past, and Rimmel's Scandaleyes is better.
+ Brush is very dense so it picks up all the lashes. Great for zigzagging, separating and adding length depending on how you hold the brush.
- Brush is so big it is impossible not to leave black marks around your eyes. I just accept this and won't use my mascara without having q-tips within reach.
- I hate orange so I'm not a fan of the package... but who cares?
I tried the waterproof version too, but it's too dry to make the same kind of impact the normal version does. Also I tried the new 'show-off' version in a purple bottle, but that one has a rubber brush and so it has actually no effect at all.

Loved this mascara and the price for this mascara is reasonable for how good it is! It really volumized my lashes and gave them just the right midnight black effect! Does exactly what it says it does, easy to take off at night, and stays on perfectly all day (if your not active in sports that is) THUMBS UP!

I love this mascara!! I have short pale lashes, this gave me volume and length, its easy to layer, its very black and i love the packaging! (Its easy to find in your bag as its so bright!) Because of the huge brush i dont use this for bottom lashes. For me its a top lash only product, but this doesnt bother me! I find it easier to 'dab' on your lashes instead of combing through. But i much prefer this to the likes of Benefit Theyre Real or Maybelline Illegal lengths for example. I have used Clinique and Lancome mascaras in the past aswell and this one is much better in my oppinion. Give it a try!! X

I like this mascara because it does give a lot of volume and makes my eyelashes look a lot longer than they actually are, but it does seem to clump for me. And it seems to go on fairly thick. But it's pretty waterproof and does the job. So I would suggest it.

Okay, so i brought Scandaleyes Flex like 2 days ago.. it's a bit pricey, and the mascara is pretty big for normal mascara size and so is the brush.. but since i like Rimmel London i decided to try it (also for the fact that it said it would create volume) anyways, i tried it. And it's pretty good! it didn't clump together and it did make my eyelashes look longer as well as bolder.. if you get what i mean. The brush is a big bigger than i anticipated so it also filled my bottom lashes as well (by accident!) well that's cux i was putting this on in the car so yea.. overall, this is now my favourite mascara and i would buy this again, in waterproof as well if they have it.

This is hard for me to admit, because Rimmel has done some wicked things with mascara. Glam’Eyes is one of my all-time favourites, and it’s getting harder and harder to find stateside, so you can imagine how fist-pumping thrilled I was when I found some at Rite Aid the other day. Volume Accelerator is great stuff, and it keeps occurring to me that I’ve never tried Day2Night, so I‘ll want to do something about that eventually…even if it‘s just to expose the gimmick. But Scandaleyes never should’ve left the drawing board. For starters, the brush head is HUGE. Gigantic. Gargantuan, even. It’s the megalodon of mascara brushes. I don’t know who came up with that concept, or why, or how anyone’s supposed to benefit from it (maybe they just have wider eyes than I do), but it’s such a waste on me, because no matter how many adjustments I make to my application technique, the stuff blobs all over the place--I am completely spasticated with those roided-up brush heads. The formula itself isn’t great, either. If there were anything to be said for it, I’d take to dunking a disposable spoolie in there and use that, but unless it’s just the tube I got, it’s kind of watery, which doesn’t bode well for a volumizing mascara. Plus its drying finish is uneven somehow, so that some of your lashes are frozen to a crisp, and others are bad to bend off in wonky directions. Truth told, it’s pretty awful. I haven’t tried the Lycra-infused formula, which is allegedly more pliant, but I doubt I will because according to the package, you’re still supposed to whack it on with that freakshow brush. So yeah…major thumbs-down here.

when i first saw this mascara i had really high expectations! it is a good product. it does not clump your lashes and gives them length, although for me it does not give a lot of volume; which was what i expected. It is a good mascara though, i would definitely re-purchase it :)

I got this product when it first came out. It was in a neon orange tube and boasted 'super long lashes' and 'intense volume' and I thought it looked pretty good. It was £7 when I first bought it, which I thought was pretty pricey but thought it'd be worth it. Guys, it was awful. The second I brushed it on, my eyelashes just clumped together and hardly 'lengthened' at all. It looked like I just had black clumps on my eyes. It dried out after about a week, even though I used it about three times maximum, and the brush is more or less unusable because it's filled with huge clumps of mascara. I thought paying the extra money would be worth it but this is a total rip off. I never knew a mascara could make your eyes look WORSE! I wouldn't recommend anyone buy this, Rimmel made a huge mistake here.

I grabbed this at random one day when I was due for a new mascara and didn't have any inkling of what I wanted. It was on sale for $5, so I figured it was no big loss if I hated it. Well, the jury's still out on this one. I'm torn. I like the formula. It's wet enough that I can play with it a bit before it dries, but not so wet that it glues all my eyelashes together into five megalashes and tries to call it "volume" (*cough*everymaybellinemascaraever*cough*). I get a wee bit of smudging at the end of the day, but honestly, with my uber-oily skin, that's just par for the course. The problem is, I hate the bloody brush. This jumbo brush thing has gotten out of hand. I thought it was silly to begin with, when cosmetics companies started telling us that these giant brushes were somehow superior to regular sized applicators, but at least the wands for Bad Gal Lash and LashBlast fit around my eye! It's really difficult to manoeuvre this wand around the eye area. I get it, jumbo mascara wands are trendy right now for some reason, but when the size of the applicator gets so comedically large as to interfere with the actual usage of the product, then what's the point? In terms of repurchasing, I actually would buy it again, but only if I was in a real pinch (for example, if I was travelling & forgot my mascara at home). The wand stops it from being something I'd make a habit of buying.

This was on offer, normally about £8, sale for £5. I'm actually a huge fan of Rimmel, - their foundations are normally fantastic, eyeshadows and liners are decent and mascaras are usually good. This... wasn't for me. I have very thick, medium length eyelashes which are very closely packed and feathery, and the frankly frighteningly massive bristled brush that this has just got caught in the thickness of my lashes and left a mess. It's certainly not waterproof either, being a swimmer, a thought this would be good, but it runs a funny diluted black residue when wet. I don't know who I'd suggest it to, - the formula's too thin for thinner lashes to build volume, and not good for unusually thick lashes either. It needs practised application too. I wouldn't advise this, but hey, if it works for you, great.

I signed up for this forum specifically to write a review of this Rimmel ScandalEyes product which is by far the worst mascara I have ever used. The wand is too big and hits the rim of my eyes and scratches the rim. The mascara formula itself is very thin and even with many multiple brush strokes, it does not provide much coverage. YUK! Don't buy this product unless you like skinny lashes that you spend a lot of time to get even an inferior coverage!

Overall, this is a decent mascara. If you buy this product, make sure you're experienced at mascara application. It isn't the type you can just run over your lashes on your way out the door- otherwise it will clump and leave residue on your eyelids. It has to be applied slowly and carefully.
A lot of mascara comes out on the brush which can be annoying at times. I didn't find this mascara gave good length or separation, but I was impressed by the volume it gave my lashes. Not amazing, but a good mascara overall.
