I think this is an excellent primer and great value for money. It provides smooth coverage and doesnot feel too oily as some primers do, but nice and matte. It is most definitely the best primer I've tried within its price range. It suits my slightly oily skin type perfectly. It helps make up glide on and last all day. The only criticism is that the pump design of the bottle means some product gets left behind and there is wastage.

I've used a few primers/ pore minimizers but this is the best. Does not cause foundation to 'pill' and has a lovely silky feel when applied. Dot around eyes and it reduces little lines. I have 001... Not sure if there is another 'shade' - this is colorless and for me, thats what a primer should be. No noticable scent. I have sensitive skin and use a very magnifying glass to double check my skin and this - Works!
It is my best find to date. I've spent a fortune on some 'high-end' ones but this is a real bargain.

I absolutely love this primer! I had never used a primer before using this one so I can't compare it to others, however, I can compare it to my skin with and without this primer. Keep in mind, my skin is extremely sensitive and acne prone. Thankfully, this product did not break me out and made my skin look so smooth. Even on dry areas this primer smoothed out my skin and made my concealer and foundation apply beautifully. I absolutely love this. I use it everyday

I liked the texture of this product and was surprised I even finished it as I am usually hugely disappointed with primers.
I liked how it felt on the skin. It was not too heavy or too slippery and silicone feeling like most.
It still felt silky but gave my skin an almost powdery feel.
It also helped my complexion look a little more even. If I had better skin I would just apply this with under eye concealer that would be it.
Of course my skin is super oily and I was hoping this would help, it did not keep me matte but it did last longer then others I have used.
I would not buy again because I would only want to use a primer if it actually kept me matte or magically made my skin look flawless ;)

I'm really impressed with this product! A lot of smoothing primers leave my skin dry and make my foundation go on horribly (I'm talking to you, Benefit Porefessional), this one did neither.
It controlled oil very well, smoothed my skin (didn't manage to completely smooth all my giant pores but nothing can), and made my makeup last.
I have combination skin and originally only used this on my tzone as I felt it would be drying on other areas, but I tried it a few times all over and nope, not drying for me even in winter. Love this stuff.

OK, I should start by saying that I have never been a fan of primer - and I have tried a few. Benefit's Porefessional I didn't like at all, and That Gal was great for a day or two then left my face an oily mess. However, I had heard good things about Revlon PhotoReady and given that it wasn't too expensive (£10 in Boots), I thought I would give it a go.

I think the product is great - much better than some of the more expensive ones I've used (e.g. from Benefit). I tend to use one pump (and even then I usually have some left over) and apply with fingers. Even worn on its own it has a slight smoothing effect and evens out my skin. Then I apply my foundation and concealer on top.

I can honestly say it makes my makeup look nicer, and makes it stay put throughout the day. It also feels nice on my skin, mattefying and not at all greasy. I forget I'm wearing it!

The packaging looks like a professional product, which goes down well with me - and which Revlon tend to do well. Would definitely buy again - and this is from someone who has never liked primer (until now!)

I dont normally do this but after seeing negative reviews on this product I think some girls on here may be crazy! I have acne prone skin that has died down, and left me with large pores and dark scarring, I use Vichy dermablend liquid makeup which I personally give a 5 out of 5 for full coverage but still weightless, I have been using that on its own for a number of months and only just recently purchased the Revlon Photoready perfecting primer and man have I seen a world of difference. just putting this on my skin it feels smoother and more even though it doesn't feel sticky and dries almost immediately and becomes a part of your skin, it makes my makeup go on flawlessly and I almost feel like I have to use the last of the make up that I did use before. I work in a hot busy restaurant environment and I'm constantly blotting my oily face all day. I just finished a nine hour shift where I only patted my nose once and my makeup is perfectly in place to the point where I could go out for dinner in the same makeup. amazing product 10 out of 10 would buy again will buy again

I like almost anything in the Photoready line. Except this.

The packaging is OK, the pump can get clogged sometimes. It dispenses the right amount of product.

It felt sticky and drying going on. I've tried putting this on with fingers, brushes, and sponges and it's the same result. When it dried, my skin felt tight and it clung tenaciously to dry patches.

The color.. I'm fair, and this looked weird pinky and chalky. I wouldn't recommend this to a WoC. It's like shimmery calamine lotion!

Makeup didn't blend well over it well at all.

There are far better primers out there!!!

What a pointless product. After seeing many good reviews, I thought I'd give it a try, but I cannot find one good thing to say about it, apart from the fact that it might look nice on a pastel pink blog.

First of all, the packaging; it seems okay at first, but the plastic lid comes off the bottle quite easily, the pump gets clogged up easily, and it's quite heavy. I know these aren't major things, but it's still not great.

Moving on to the formula; it has quite a creamy feel when you first apply it, which is nice, then it feels as though it tightens your skin, and adopts a more silicone formula. It doesn't spread easily, and seems to particularly cling on to dry areas and imperfections (but doesn't help the appearance of them). It made my foundation feel a bit like a mask that was lying on top of my skin, rather than buffed into my skin, which wasn't the desired outcome.

It didn't seem to have any effect either way on the staying powder of my foundation, and didn't change the appearance of my foundation, it just seemed very pointless.

All in all, this was a complete waste of money. I cannot find a single positive for this product, and it just seemed generally ineffective, and just an extra step that's not worth doing.
