Unfortunately this stuff did nothing for me! It feels nice when I'm applying it, but, upon closer inspection I noticed that there were white bits peeling off on certain parts of my face. Also, it made my foundation patchy and flake like crazy. The packaging is decent and I like how it comes with a pump so there isn't too much product spilling out. However, it didn't seem to minimize my pores and just made my make-up look cakey and awful, personally I think this is a waste of £11.99.

I bought this with the photoready foundation, which I really like. I hate this primer for several reasons:1. Smell. It has a very odd smell and I had to avoid smelling it, which is hard when something is being applied to your face.2. texture. It was very light but felt kind of rough while going on my face. I do use my fingers to apply primer, but that's never caused a rough feeling before.3. It didn't hold makeup at all! Not even a little!! By noon my makeup was gone. It was bad.4. When I got in my car at the end of the day I looked ashy and gray. It was embarrassing.I would never buy this product again. I returned it immediately.

This is the absolute best primer for my oily skin I've tried. I start with a thin layer of Phillips Milk of Magnesia - let it dry. Then I use L'Oreal Studio Perfecting primer under my eyes and on my eye lids (I just find that stuff in the jar to work better around my eyes which are very oily too). Then I apply the Revlon Perfecting primer to the rest of my face.I then apply Mattify Ultra Powder, then BE Matte foundation and finally BE Mineral Veil and I barely have any shine by the time I wash my face before bed. I get incredible staying power with this regimen and it works for me. I apply the Mattify and Mineral Veil powders with a BeautyBlender by dabbing it or pressing onto my face and then a fluffy brush to smooth out any excess. Pressing the powder seems to do a better job of helping everything stay put (and it also help to minimize pores - got this tip from gossmakeupartist on You Tube - ).For me it is not just one product it seems - but a combination of the right ones that does the trick.Hope this helps someone out there. I hope they never discontinue this Revlon Primer as I've finally found my HG routine that actually works for my oily skin.

I kept brushing off people and articles that mentioned needing a primer as i didn't want to overwhelm my face with even more product than i was already putting on it, but my foundation started to become blotchy on my skin after just a couple hours.I bought this from the reviews and LOVED it. It is expensive for the drugstore but it does deliver high brand quality. It smooths my face and makes it matted for a smooth canvas. It keeps my foundation and blush in place all day…i don't have to worry about makeup touch ups anymore.I actually received a lot of compliments on "how i was doing my makeup" and how "flawless" my makeup looked when i started using this.I like the packaging and that it comes with a pump- makes it efficient and sanitary. I would go back to this again and again, even though its the only primer I've ever tried!

Just got this today after reading all the 'great' reviews on here. First off... start with the bad reviews. This does NOT live up to its claims. It does not minimize or blur a damn thing. And it STINKS. SO badly.

Picked this up at Walmart it came to $17. Which is somewhat pricey for drugstore but there is lots of product. I have very oily skin and this helped to mattify it under my foundation and make it look airbrushed. I'm surprised this isn't more raved about! Also love the pump.

Revlon's PHOTOREADY range is now infamous for the 'Sparkles' the formulas contain. But the fine particles mainly reflect the light, so they honestly aren't very noticeable, you have to hold a mirror inches from your face to be able to see them. The primer also works by filling in and evening out the surface of your skin leaving fine lines and larger pores reduced, so that your foundation applies smoother and doesn't cake in and around the mentioned lines and pores. And yes, the 'photo ready' aspect really does work; I got in touch with my inner Kim Kardashian for this review and snapped a few selfies, and my skin appeared largely clear in the photos, regardless of the redness and minor blemishes I had at the time. I didn't wear any concealer for this test, so looking in the mirror I could still make out a few blemishes in real life, but on camera most of these imperfections had vanished. However I'm really loving this primer alone because my skin is so dry that I just don't feel comfortable wearing foundation any more, and this primer perks up my complexion without the heaviness of the colour correcting formulas of foundations and BB/CC creams. It doesn't magically airbrush my skin or anything like that, but is does help to blur discolouration, lines and blemishes worn alone, so my skin does look more even then it does alone.

This is a great drugstore brand primer. In my first three uses I was getting white stuff on my face but then that stopped and now it glides on smoothly everyday. Reduces shine, minimizes appearance of pores and my foundation stays on all day. I have very very oily skin. After I moisturize, I wear this primer then Mac StudioFix foundation and my makeup stays on for 14 hours no problems. Would def repurchase.

I have tried a lot of drugstore primers and unfortunately, I don't think it even comes close to the performance of the Rimmel primers. It goes on smoothly, and is not a silicone based primer, but I don't feel like it prolongs the wear time of my foundation. Considering that it is about 3x the price of the Rimmel primers, I expected it to work better. I was very disappointed and will not repurchase, because I feel like it makes no difference whether I have it on or not.

Past bad experiences with past silicone/dimethicone primers: often too thick, gave little oil control or did not prep the skin properly for foundation. Revlon came up with this more fluid, easier-to-apply version and I am loving it. It makes my foundation look more polished and satiny and allows for smoother foundation application. Definitely I notice a difference when I use it and don't coz there is less oil produced and my makeup looks fresher/smoother after hours of work. The only silicone primer that has worked for me so far - thank you RevlonThe only con is that the nozzle always gets clogged when the primer dries at the tip, and this happens even with the lid on - obviously not seal-tight lid. Too many times have I pumped too hard and squirted out a whole clump of primer, but this is a small annoyance and I still enjoy the product very much
