I started using ALL of the Nuance products about a month ago and even though I already have pretty good skin, I've noticed a difference. My skin looks brighter and smoother and more refined. I just used the Wild Lime Exfoliating Gel last night for the first time and - at first, after applying it, I thought "Ok, this is going to be the one product in the line that I don't love..." - my face started getting tingly and red and irritated almost immediately. The gel is shiny and sticky and you have to leave it on for 5 minutes. So, I walked away and checked my email and five minutes later I rinsed it off. At that point, my face was no longer red and irritated and it was super smooth. I almost questioned if I had gotten it all off.

This morning I woke up and rinsed my face like I normally do and then started putting on my makeup. I was utterly shocked to see that my nose pores had noticeably shrunk! I am thrilled with this product after just one use!

I really really really like this! I use it once a week and my skin is glowing, clearer, and softer. Which is great, since I've had dry skin. I can't see myself using this more than once a week, because I don't enjoy the smell all that much. It reminds me of bathroom cleaner. That one con aside, I'd recommend this!

When I first saw it in the store I thought that I would never buy some product sponsored by a celebrity. I mean, they just put their name on it and have nothing else to do with the chemists who made it. But it was 7.00 and compared to the other products there it was relatively cheap. I read a few good reviews (on here) and bought it. I suffer from dark spots left over from picking at my acne and hoped this might fade them (I've been trying EVERYTHING to fade them).

Anywho, when I first started using it. I only used pea-sized amounts and it didn't do much exfoliating although it did make my face feel brighter and cleaner. In that size amounts, its okay to use everyday.

But I figured that I wanted to feel the more exfoliating effects so I started putting more dime size quantities on my face and it would be layered on there thick like a mask. It feels drying and warm but when you rinse it off your face feels super clean.

On the occasion when I haven't used it, I've noticed that a few pimples start to come back. When I do use it though, I don't get as much acne and the dark spots seem to be fading (or I just think they are).

Buy it :) it's worth 7.00 even if it doesn't exfoliate as much as a beady exfoliater, it does make your face a LOT softer and cleaner.

I love using this as a mask a couple of times a week to keep my skin smooth. The fruit acids naturally exfoliate my dead skin. Left with less breakouts that go away more quickly. Love the lime smell, and how the gel texture is thick enough to not be runny when spread on. I used to use a more expensive natural fruit acid cleanser, but it was very runny so I prefer the Wild Lime because it stays on longer, and saves me money. I will definitely be checking out other products from this line.

I thought this was a gel cleanser and I used it a couple of times. I prefer manual scrus for my normal-to-dry skin. (love the Nuance Walnut Facial Scrub). This is actually a chemical exfoiant which contains a bunch of fruit acids [Citrus Australasica Fruit Extract, Citrus Australis Fruit Extract, Citrus Glauca Fruit Extract, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Fruit Extract, Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Fruit Extract]. It did not do much for me after only two times, which isn't enough to really see any results. The flip top plastic container allows you to control how much you use.

This surprised me! I'd read about Salma Hayek's skin care line before it hit the market but had no intention of purchasing it. I admire her work, think she's beautiful and bright, talented, etc.but I just didn't see anything that particularly attracted me to the line.

I like the idea that she spoke about how her grandmother created a lot of skin care treatments which she used on Salma's skin when she was a little girl. She spoke of "secret" ingredients that were kept private in her family for years. Nice story, but it didn't exactly make my wallet fall open.

Anyway, I was gifted with this cleanser by surprise. I believe in trying everything out for at least a few days because if I don't like it, I don't believe in holding on to it. Because my skin is so sensitive, I tried it on the backs of my hands first. One I massaged for 5 minutes, the other I did nothing to.

After 5 minutes I rinsed one and and then rubbed the one I'd done nothing to. The massaged hand felt clean and soft, maybe even a little stripped. The other hand either took off a layer of skin, product or a little bit of both. I assume that this is the exfoliating action of the product.

Since my skin is sensitive/oily I like to do little test to see if I have any immediate sensitivity. Then I can move on to my face to see what happens. This does what it says. It made my skin clean and soft when I followed the directions on the tube. It did clean out pores and I felt that it made the skin brighter.

There are loads of botanicals in the product, which is a good thing. I like the fact that the tube has a flip-top closure which means I can use one hand to flip it open. Fwiw, the packaging is compact and attractive. The lime fragrance is strong and stays around. I don't mind it, I just wonder if my skin can tolerate it on a long term basis. I would purchase again.

This is a really nice product for smoothing the skin. I've only used it 4 times, so I can't say what it may do for my skin with longer use, but I do like it. I smooth on a layer, let it set on my skin for several minutes & then rinse it off. It does have an odd smell, that isn't bad, but I wouldn't buy it in a perfume. I love all of the Nuance skincare that I have tried & this is another nice one. I have combo/oily/old/easily dehydrated skin.

I'm. In. Love. With everything in Salma Hayek's line. This product helped clear up my clogged pores and made my skin soft and even. This is such a fantastic product and I can't recommend it enough.

For me, this stuff worked a MIRACLE. I am 42 and generally have combination skin, oily T-zone and dry everywhere else. That said, my skin is generally pretty clear and I have few lines so all in all, I'm happy with where I'm at. At some point after the holidays, so I would say early January, my face started breaking out on both sides right by my hairline something FIERCE. I hadn't changed my hair product or anything so I didn't think it could be that, there was nothing new in my regime etc. A friend suggested it might be hormonal which I suppose is possible but whatever it was, it was BAD. For about 3 months I tried *everything* I could think of from leaving it alone and using only very basic products like cetaphil and Complex 15 moisturizer to attacking it with retinols. Nothing worked. Then one day I was reading Allure and they were interviewing Salma and she said this was her can't live without product from the line and it was only $8 so I figured why not give it a chance. I kid you not, after three days of putting this on twice a day, all my acne was pretty much gone. A few of the worst spots persisted but the rest were gone in a week. I will NEVER be without this product, I still use it at least every other day and my skin looks really clear and smooth. It works better than MUCH more expensive products.

I love this product! My skin is smoother and the gunk in my pores are brought to the surface with this product. Sorry for the TMI but a major cause of my breakouts is clogged pores and this has helped greatly.

I didn't find that this was too strong for my skin. I do have oily combo skin however. I tend to leave it on for about 8 minutes. Its easy to rinse off without any problems.

I love this product and look forward to using it!

Despite making my face smell like a fella's cologne circa 1995 for a few hours, I love this stuff. The sort of Rouge Bunny Rouge-esque packaging flips open easily (and closes completely!) and the product is a clear celadon green gel. It rinses off very easily; no hard to remove goo. I follow it with moisturizer. My skin is more luminous and smoother. It's only $9.00, for crying out loud! I would absolutely believe it cost several times that. An amazing product for a relaxing weekly ritual.

I have a thing with exfoliating products. I've probably got a half a dozen in my shower right now, and I can't stop buying them, so naturally I had to try this. Before I started using retinoids again this fall I would use pure lemon juice to exfoliate at night, but that's too harsh for me now. This is similar (fruit acid exfoliation), but just a bit gentler. It perfectly preps my skin for my Neutrogena Anti-Wrinkle Cream, and the combination leaves my skin so smooth, and clear. Like the other reviewer noted you can't leave this on much longer than the directions state (10 minutes will leave my skin a little irritated despite it's high tolerance to AHA/BHA), but then again that's probably why it says on the bottle not to do that. Anyway, I'm now on my second bottle, and I *really* hope this never gets discontinued because it's a total HG product for me now.

When I used this for the first time, I was surprised that it was a smooth gel with no actual exfoliaters in it. I was expecting some type of scrub, but as the name suggests, it really is a gel.

I used this at night, and the next morning upon waking up, my nose area (which is ALWAYS an oil slick after waking up) wasn't at all shiny AND the pores in that area (which have always been on the large size) had become noticeably smaller.

A miracle!

This gel has been phenomenal with keeping my skin looking smooth and bright and just all-around great! My face looks more even now, because all of the pores have shrunken and dark spots are diminishing.

The only cons to using this is that you have to leave it on for 5-7 minutes (which is annoying, because I like doing all of my steps right then and there, not pausing and waiting) AND if you leave it on longer than that, it might burn your face. I've accidentally left it on for 10 or so minutes and my face was really tender when rinsing it off. The tenderness faded after washing (with Nuance Oxygen Cleanser.)

All in all, this product is unmatched. NOTHING else has helped with my large pores and oily nose area and nothing has helped with dark spots. If you want smoother, more even -looking skin, do NOT put off buying this for another day. Nuance products do what they say they will.
