I also got this when it was on Hautelook. I had never tried anything other than the Time Balm concealer, but the price was right so I went ahead and got the lippie. I love the retro silver bullet style tube. Simple and classy. The lipstick itself is very moisturizing, and has a hint of mint or something in it. I love it - it's a nice cooling effect - and with the current Texas summer, I'll take any cooling effect possible. The pigments are good, and honestly I wasn't expecting that. Just a normal to subpar red lipstick to add to the pile of ones I don't like too much. Quite the opposite. And it does last quite a while. Overall it is a great product and I would probably repurchase.

Hautelook had theBalm on last month, so I ordered this one and IMa GoodGirl in nudey/apricot color.
This red lipstick is outstanding because
*it lasts for at least 4 to 5 hours, even thru drinking coffee and having lunch, too
*it locks in moisture
*it makes my peeling, not perfect lips, much better, almost smooth
*it disappears after 4 hrs, leaving a stain evenly on lips
*the cost was phenomenal ($8.50) on sale
*seems to plump my lips
*the color reminds me of my Illamasqua "Drench"
theBalm is innovative, and a forward-thinking cosmetic company which deserves recognition. Love their products.

Hautelook was having a sale and I happened to pick up three of TheBalm's lipsticks for $8.50 each. I got Mai Billsbepaid, Ima Goodkisser, and Mia Moore. I think this is the most phenomenal red lipstick I own. It's a creamy blue based red lipstick which works for the warm under tones in my skin. The reason this lipstick gets a 5 star is because prior to this purchase my lips were peeling and cracked to the point of looking bruised. When I got this and tried it on, I thought my lips would look dry and chapped but by the end of the night my lips looked plump and the dryness that I was experiencing was gone. I love the way it applies, it hugs your lips and locks in the moisture. I got about 5 hours of wear time without any fading or running with this particular color. I would highly recommend also checking out musingsofamuse because she did swatches of all the colors. One last thing, the boxes they come in are loads of fun. They remind me of the front covers of classic harlequin romance novels from the 60's and 70's. The lipstick packaging itself looks just like MAC except these are silver.
