Guinot recently reformulated this cream and it is a disaster. The new cream balls up and rubs off (resembling eraser flakes) when make-up or sunscreen is applied over it. The cream does balls up and rubs off when applied over serums. The new formulation did not absorb into my skin, making my complexion look ashy. I was very upset to have spent money purchasing this cream, taking it on vacation and discovering that it had been reformulated for the worse. I was stuck with a flakey face all weekend long, it was embarrassing. Honestly, is it really worth saving a few bucks with a cheaper reformulation at the cost of scaring off all your existing customers? This was a wonderful product (please see review below) and now it is ruined.

Can't shower this line with enough praise. This cream is extremely soothing and moisturizing but does not clog my very clog-prone skin. I use this between the autumn and winter seasons when the weather fluctuates between dry and humid. On days that are more humid I dilute the cream with a plain light moisturizer such as Complex 15, Physiogel Lotion, or DML Lotion, depending on which ever one I have on hand. On cold and dry days this cream stands up to windchill and central heating for the whole day under mineral makeup. On the coldest Toronto winter days I add a moisture serum underneath.
