absolutely loathe this eye makeup remover. It stings my eyes like crazy. I use a little bit of it on a cotton pad to get off my eyeshadow, liner and mascara and every time I use it I kick myself for buying it because it makes my eyes water so badly and I have to sit down for a minute and wait for my eyes to stop freaking out. Don't buy this.

omg ouch! this stung my eyes so bad. i even had them closed. but other than that one pad removed all the makeup from both my eyes with out any thing left over. the only complaint i had was it burning my eyes. maybe the should put somethin soothing in it. but yeah i will be repurchasing.

I used the non oily makeup remover. Not only does the product stink of some terrible chemical it does NOTHING!!!!!!! It's dirt cheap, but you''re paying money for nothing and it smells terrible. I through mine out. I couldn't stand it and I'm not that fussy about smells but this one was so chemilcally smelling and on top of that didn't remove a thing!

Buy anything but this.

This product may claim that it's "gentle" and although that part isn't wrong, their claim that it actually removes eye make-up is false. I may have expected too much from it because I was sucked into the false advertisement stating it was "#1 In America," but it took me too many rubs to take this off. It took me a few scrubs to take off my Maybeline Eyeliner and a thousand rubs to take off my waterproof Covergirl LashExact.

The packaging isnt so great either. The opening isn't filtered meaning its completely open so you use too much product at once.
Overall I think this product is a deceiving, unworthy product.
I recommend spending your 6$ for the Sephora waterproof make-up remover which is GREAT.

Gosh, this stuff is awful. It is way too oily. It DOES indeed take the eye makeup off but it leaves streaks of it down my cheek and I usually have to reach for another cotton pad. It often leaves my eyes bleary, and this product is a definite no for someone with allergies. It definitely does not do you any favors.

I bought this eyemakeup remover at walmart. My aunt had recomended it to me. I would say it works quite well. It is very good about getting most of my eye makeup off and mascara even waterproof mascara. I dont like how oily all they eyemakeup removers are for waterproof mascara but I would say this one gets the job done fairly well.

I generally wear water-soluble makeup, so I use a general mu cleanser. I did, however, get this for stubborn eye mu. Does it work? Yes. Would I buy it again? No. First of all, the formula is very harsh for the eye area...never mind the friendly-looking cucumbers on the label, this feels like pure alcohol. It is drying and generally unpleasant, especially for such a delicate area. I would definitely recommend just about any other d/s cleanser over this. But, um, it does work.

Almay Non-Oily Eye Makeup Remover Lotion is the best eye makeup remover I have ever used. Make sure it says LOTION on the bottle. Not only is this product very affordable, more like dirt cheap, it works absolutely fabulous! A little bit of this on a tissue removes all. I only wear waterproof mascaras but they are a real pain to remove...that is until I found this product.
I have used Estee Lauder eye makeup remover, Ponds cold cream, baby oil, olive oil, vaseline, just to name a few and nothing, I mean NOTHING compares to this. If you are a fan of waterproof mascaras, such as myself; do your eyes and eyelashes a favor and get this product.

i'm surprised to see negative reviews about this because when i had cystic acne and wore a lot of makeup, i actually used this all over my face! it really got everything off of my skin and was very gentle.

I don't wear waterproof eye makeup and it still takes me 4 cottonballs to get my makeup off, and some is usually still remaining. The reason I continue to re-purchase is because it doesn't irritate my eyes and it is better than nothing. Lots of department store brands have irritated my eyes even if they did remove mu better. The search continues, but this always suffices and is easy to pick up when I'm traveling.

It's very oily and you need to work at it to get all of your eye makeup off.

I used my roommates, so I don't actually own this to repurchase, but I wouldn't purchase it.

This gets the job done, but you have to keep going at it. You don't have to tug or anything, but it does take a while to get off.

The good thing about this is that it is gentle & doesn't sting your eyes or anything. And it doesn't leave anything behind, like a residue feeling or makeup or whatever.

There's better eye makeup removers out there.

An average makeup remover. It is gentle, doesn't cause irritation, works quickly, but useless when it comes to waterproof/resistant mascara or liners. Wouldn't pay full price for it, but on sale, with a coupon - maybe, for quick removal of light everyday makeup.

This review is for Almay Oil-Free Make Up Remover liquid. I don't usually write reviews, but I had to warn people about this horrendous product. I would say its makeup removing ability is about the same as cold water, which is to say it barely removes any mascara. It also leaves your eye area feeling really dry and stiff. I've switched to Neutrogena eye makeup remover, and for the same price, this stuff actually removes makeup!! I recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to spend too much, but wants something that works.

I just recently ran out of my Shiseido Eye Make Up Remover, and I was on a relatively low budget, when I desperately needed a remover and bumped into this one at the drug store. I usually wear waterproof eye make up, and when I tried it the first night, it was horrible! My mascara came out in black clumps with this thing, and my skin felt horrible afterwards. On another note, it did remove most of my pencil eyeliner on my bottom eyelids.
My favourite eye make up remover is the MAC "Gently Off Eye and Lip Make up Remover". It's not very oily, and it's super gentle on the skin. It does WONDERS in removing my eye makeup (and waterproof mascara). I didnt get the same clumping resulting from Almay's version.

This review is for Almay's Non-Oily Eye Makeup Remover Gel (not the liquid, which I was reasonably happy with). I liked the consistency of the gel because I thought it would be more travel-friendly than a liquid, but it just didn't get the job done. Its efficacy was a little better when I first got it, so I'm not sure if it's because it got old, but I don't think a makeup remover should lose its potency so much just from a couple of months. I prefer Almay's Eye Makeup Remover in liquid form, or Rimmel's Eye Makeup remover (which is a better value). I will not be repurchasing this again.
