After wet n wild discontinued their 6 pan palettes that i loved so much (& that i broke and lost as well) i found comfort in this palette. It had many dupes from those 6 pan palettes. Like the green and white from pride, the black, peach and cream from greed and the dark brown from vanity. It was an amazing find and the quality is as always pretty good. There are only two shades that appear to have a slight sparkle to them which is the blue and purple. Though they can still pass for matte. I was also happy when they came out with this palette for a short time again months ago just under a different name (drinking a glass of shine.) Its always on limited edition though but it would be amazing if it was part of their permanent line. On that note though i recommend this palette a lot if you can somehow find a way to get it. Its a must have unless you don't like brights or darks with only 2 neutral shades. Its still fab though you get every option in this palette.

I like this but to me the palette isn't entirely matte the crease shades and the definer shades to have a small amount of glitter in there i don't care but I wanted to mention it.The blue and purple shades you can see the glitter on the eye it's not obnoxious but it's there..I love the peach shade it's an amazing shade and new favorite eye shadow.

For the cheap price tag and these being drug store shadows, I give this 5 stars. I love all of the colors, especially the neutrals in this one. The drug store brands are really stepping up their game these days. I used to be a total product snob, but have had to step out side of the box due to the failing economy. I am amazed by some of the products I have been finding at great prices!

This palette has some hits and misses, but for the price, you really can't go wrong. The stars of this palette are definitely the top 2 neutral shades on the right side. I'd say you get your money's worth with those 2 shades alone. They are so creamy, buttery, and a dream to blend. Perfect blending colors, especially if you are on a budget. The bright shadows on the left side are nice too(with the exception of the white, which is a bit chalky). The only disappointments in this palette are the 2 dark shades on the right. The brown especially is very chalky and unpigmented. Regardless, this is still definitely worth checking out.

I suppose if you're limited to drugstore eyeshadow, this might be a good palette to own. But I am a neutral girl, so I find that I don't use any of the bright colors, and the neutrals are too warm for me. The price is good, the quality is fine, but I would not buy this again, especially since most of the other wnw palettes have the same, or very similar colors, along with more weareable ones.

This palette is nothing short of awesome, especially for the $5 price tag! I have used the whole gamut of makeup from ELF to high-end, and this palette is astounding for the price! If you see one in stores, don't hesitate in picking it up. It's a 4-star review (bumped up from a 3.5) here, but I'd give it a solid 5 if I factored in the price.

Colors are extremely pigmented. I did a full look and barely disturbed the imprints. The powder isn't exactly silky, but it's very usable. I had a little trouble blending when applied over primer, especially with the blue and purple shades, but it's a common problem with mattes, and nothing a little extra elbow grease didn't solve. I did have to pack some of the colors on, which produced a lot of fallout, so I'd definitely do any bright looks before foundation. There was no creasing with MAC paint pot or NYX primer as a base. I'd say these are as good as MAC's better mattes.

Colors are: true white, bright emerald green, sky blue, royal purple. On the other side, light cream, peach, medium brown and black. I wouldn't use them as directed, though, since it's a little OTT.

You will not find a better matte palette then this one! I'm mighty disappointed that they discontinued this and pray that they will make it permanent! Or at least returning seasonal.
The formula of the shadows are super soft, as always for the 8-pans, the colors are way pigmented.
You get great basic colors to work with and a pretty good amount to. I try not to use this palette too often since I want it to last me!

I love this. They are dirt cheap and if you use a primer they last all day

Highly recommend.

Wet n Wild makes good eye shadows!
Update: Just like the girl above me said I love my natural colors and I will probably not use the colorful eye shadows. But I will use them as eye liner with an eye liner brush if I want a burst of color but to not go overboard with it. I am nc15 skin and I LOVE this matte peach color on this palette. It complements my skin SO WELL. I love wearing that color everyday!!!!

This is a palette of 8 matte shadows. The formula for all the shadows are great they go on smooth and blend nicely. I like matte shadows because I use them in my crease for all my looks so this is a staple in my eyeshadow collection.

After reading the reviews on here i looked high and low for this with NO luck!! Tonight at Walgreens i found it in a back clearance isle and it was the last one for 1.25!!! i was excited! Got home and went straight to play! LOVE the natural colors and they give a great look with tan skin:) The black is great! i dont often wear black but love this one!! The Brighter colors blend well and i had little to no fallout! I cant wait to see what the staying power is but according to most reviews it stands the test of time as well!! I was'nt a fan of WnW but this palette has changed my mind!

This is a really good palette.I love the colors and that is is completely matte as I have so many shimmery eye shadows and not a lot of matte colors. I enjoy using this palette especially the more skin tone colors the brown and the black.I do use the colorful colors but not as much and the black is really pigmented,I think this is a great palette for anyone to have especially if they love matte eye shadows, very affordable i would definitely buy this again :)

These are of course very well pigmented and all matte. But these are not colors I ever really reach for very much on my NW20 skin. Of course I still kept it and had to have it just for the cheap cost, high quality, and the hype. But I don't know if I will ever use it. Honestly, bought it just to have it. Not excited to use it.

When I first saw pictures swatches from this palette, I knew instantly that I just HAD to have it. It had to be mine. Now, this is a very unusual thing for me because never before I have I had such a feeling come over me about eye shadows. I've actually never really been a fan of eye makeup simply because the shadows that I can afford tend to be horrible in consistency as well as overbearingly shimmery. It's safe to say that I'm more of a lipstick kind of girl. Or was, anyway.
Unlike many people that acquired this palette, I didn't have to ruthlessly hunt for it. I found the very last one at the first Walgreens I went to! I was elated. This is my very first legit eyeshadow palette as well the first and only (to date) product that I've ever purchased from Wet 'N' Wild and I must say that I absolutely love it. The pigmentation and consistency is nothing like you might expect from a five dollar palette- let alone one comprised of entirely matte shadows. Every color with the exception of the green and purple swatch and apply beautifully, but even those two are certainly workable. The shades are almost creamy in their consistency...very soft and smooth but densely pigmented; rarely chalky. They're not at all what I'd expected.
For whatever reason, I was under the impression that sure, Wet 'N' Wild shadows/palettes (as well as any of the crappy drugstore shadows) are beautiful for those who use primer. Let me tell you, I don't use one and these shadows are still magnificent. There is absolutely NO fallout at all, and somehow they adhere well and stay vibrant for hours on my oily eyelids. I'm still shocked!
The neutral side is my go to but I love having the option to mix it up a little with the brighter colors also. I've used this palette every single time that I've put my makeup on for the past three weeks and I have yet to come up with a gripe about this palette, despite that it's initial new excitement wearing away. This single palette has managed to replace several of my usual products: the really odd chunky shadows I was using that I got in a Christmas cosmetics set, the slightly shimmery, broken single eyeshadow that I was using for my brows and the unbearably chalky single white eyeshadow that I used as a brow highlight. Every color in this palette is worth owning. There truly seem to be no duds here!
The color selection is slightly strange, but I think they picked such polar opposites for the palette so that it appeals to most people- if not everyone. From the girls who love walking out dolled up like a bird of paradise to the ones who prefer to be a little more soft and understated, as well as those of us who are a bit of both- this is a wonderful palette for anyone of any skill level to own. I love it.
My only hope is that Wet 'N' Wild takes of all the praise in consideration and keeps this one around!

I got this in a swap and boy am I happy! I have never purchased WW ES but this made me change my mind. There's absolutely no fallout, very smooth, no creasing, shadows are highly pigmented and it stays true for 6 hours+. And I usually don't wear ES primers (I usually put eye cream and powder foundation as a ES base) but it could be even better with a primer. Matte shadows do need to be blended more to look natural and unflat but it won't be a problem with this one. I'm very into matte ES these days for a natural, no-makeup makeup look so the lighter colors on these definitely fit the bill.

The brighter colors are great for a dramatic eye. I like to apply them with my fingers actually. I tried this look yesterday: I use the blue thick on my upper lash line and outer lower lash line and the green a little past my crease. I applied the purple on the inner part of my lower lishline and smudged it into the blue (it does have tiny flecks of sparkle in it). Finally, I applied the white to my browbone and the inner corners of my eyes. It looked really fun! It also made my green eyes stand out like crazy. Still, I feel like these are more of Summer or Spring colors rather than for Winter.

I like the neautral colors for contouring actually. I like watching the youtube videos people make where they try to look like someone else, and these matte shades are perfect for it. I have used the brown a lot for this purpose when I wear makeup for costumes. The black is really great, very pigmented, even more so than the expensive matte blacks that I bought and grew frustrated with for turning gray. The other two colors are nice for an understated day look if I don't want naked eyelids.

My only issues with this palette is the fallout. It is very easy to get flecks of this stuff on my cheeks when I apply it. Also, do NOT travel with any WNW palettes. I learned this the hard way with last year's limited editions where, of course, my favorite shades crumbled. Also, these crease something awful. I need to get an eyeshadow primer so that I can wear the shadows for longer without having to reapply.

I searched high and low to find this. It's not with the reg WnW display so make sure you ask for it and they can show you where it is.

I like MAC for my staple colors but I love Wet N Wild for their pallettes. This is no exception. I thought the colors wouldn't be that bright and pretty on my dark skin, but over my UDPP the colors showed up nicely. I would use my NYX fatties under next to time to really give them that pop, but these are great.

I love Wet N Wild shadows and these are no exception. I just know that Wet N Wild is going to start charging crazy money for their pallettes because they are worth it.

I had to order this palette off ebay because we don't have wet n wild in Australia, so it wasn't exactly cheap. It cost me about $18 which I was more then willing to pay, until I received it and realized that this palette has the same colors as the Vanity and greed palette. All of the brown and terracotta shades have been released before. I probably would not have purchased this if I had realized this before. The blue side as far as I can tell are all original colors. The colors are very pigmented and I don't find them to be chalky, however they do take bit of blending. Also these colors are not all completely matte the blue and purple are more of a satin finish, although not completely shimmery I definitely would not class them as matte shades. Its a nice palette to have if you need some less shimmery shade but if you do have the other palettes from wet n wild you may not need this one after all. I wouldn't purchase again because I now have back ups on the same colors. I added some swatches above.

I'm cheating a little because I haven't really worn it (sort of did one eye with the two upper right neutrals) but the quality of this is fantastic. There is a fantastic highlight color in here. The top three on the right seem very useful. Some of these are the same colors from palettes with names of the deadly sins, so if you have those, take that into consideration. The reason I'm writing is: this seems hard to find. My Walgreen's only got one of them I think. So if you want this, you should probably start searching (it's only available at Walgreen's for holiday '11.)

The only one in here that's not perfect in terms of pigmentation is the purple, but it's still good - just not as good.

Edit- I've used all of these colors and they are great. The only two not found in the deadly sins palettes are the blue and purple. The top right shade is in the greed palette, but it's different from the one in the vanity palette.

I really like this! On the left side theres a pure white, seafome green, sky blue, and a medium purple color. On the right side is a light creme color, a peach color, a deep brown, and a black. All are matte though some seem to have a sheen or tiny specks of glitter, It all shows up matte on the eye.
This palette is amazing. Every color is pigmented and this is only five dollars?! A steal!
I was worried some colors would not be up to par on quality, but I like every color. I use this over a primer and the colors are bright & bold, or sometimes I use a base (such as NYX's JEP in Milk) can help make the colors stand out.
Also, there are some dupes to the 6 pan palettes but those are being discontinued in 2012 sometime (according to nouveacheap n/a) so this is still a good deal. I also noticed the purple and blue are dupes for the LE duos they released a couple years ago!
Overall I like this palette & am glad I was able to find it.

Wet n wild makes great shadows at a great price. I love the fact that they made a matte set as most are full of shimmer and I like my eye looks to have a little of both. To be honest and a guru pointed it out on yt that many if the colors in this palette are actually the exact colors in the six pan sets that feature the matte shades, and it's true if you pull them out. There are a few new ones, but overall ir $5 you can't bet it with a stick.
