I was disappointed with this lipstick. I had wanted to try a MUA lipstick as they had good reviews on the internet. My local Superdrug only had a few shades in stock and I chose this one as it looked a nice, browny-pink nude shade in the tube. However, on my lips it looked very dark, and sadly was very ageing. I like shiny, sheer lipsticks and the texture of this was quite matte. But the chemistry of everyone's skin is different and the texture of lipsticks in the same range can vary. The packaging and pigmentation are as good as more expensive ranges, so I may try another colour later.

All I can say is wow... Love this lipstick!
I first saw a picture of a girl I followed on Instagram wearing a lovely neutral pink colour, which was also just the right 'glossy-ness' and also made her lips look nicely plump and bigger. With more research I found it was the brand MUA (Make Up Academy) and in Shade 11. I found it in my local drugstore and to my surprise.. it was 1 pound!!! (About 2 dollars in US Currency!) which I thought was absolutely amazing! It is perfect for anyone who doesn't like to empty pockets on cosmetics. I use it as my main 'everyday' lipstick basis without struggle of choice as it is a lovely, neutral colour of pink which blends well with my natural lip colour so it makes it look more plump in a more 'natural' way you could say. For my holiday I also bought Shade 7 and Shade 16 (coral and bubblegum pink shades which I am yet to try properly) and stocked up on more Shade 11.. (addicted!)
The only negative I would say about this is that it comes off rather easily, so it does have to be topped up a couple of times. I would not recommend if you're only a fan of matte lipsticks as this does have a relatively glossy sheen. But I love it and is long lasting, so well worth a good pound:-)!

This lipstick is £1. £1! I can hardly believe it. There are so many really decent products from this MUA line, for next to nothing, that are genuinely good!
Shade 11 (3.8g) is a reasonably warm, brick nude with a teeny touch leaning towards coral/orange. To get a good look at the shade watch the Charlotte Tilbury tutorial on Everyday Makeup on a Budget. It's very wearable. Now for the best bit- the formula- this lipstick actually reminds me of much more expensive HE brands- in some cases it actually performs better (I've bought lipstick twenty times the cost of this one that just suck). It glides on smoothly and wears comfortably providing quite comprehensive coverage. It actually feels really creamy rather than the usual waxy, dry nasty feel you sometimes get with cheapies. This lipstick does not dry my lips- it can be worn when your lips are not in tip top shape because it doesn't highlight dryness either, which makes it great for touch ups on the go without a mirror. It is lightly scented but inoffensively so. The packaging is cheap and cheerful (with a gimmicky screw bottom filled with product) but who can complain for this price?
For the price it is amazing. I am looking forward to trying out other shades in the range- I hope they are of a similar quality.

I love this shade! I don't see any coral in it, on me it's a beautiful mid-tone dusty rose shade. Very pretty for autumn, but I have been wearing it year-round.
It goes on smooth, doesn't dry my lips out, lasts well and sets to a satin finish. Best thing is, I can apply this without a mirror :)
Also at the bottom, it has a little transparent plastic cap that comes off and inside, there's a bit of lip balm!
Doesn't get much better than tis for £1!

For the price these MUA lipsticks are amazing. £1! That's what my bank account loves to hear. :)
They go on surprisingly creamy. I was expecting a more waxy feel to them, but nope, very smooth indeed.
Shade 11 doesn't have any shimmer or glittery particles which is great. The colour is very much a 'MLBB' shade - at least on my lips. In some lights it has a hint of coral. I can see it looking gorgeous on women with all kinds of skin tones. Well, for £1 you can easily give it a go, and not feel too guilty if it doesn't work for you. My sister keeps pinching it, so I'm going to have to find a better hiding place for it, or just give her a flippin' quid. Would I buy this product again? Yes!
