This is a good value for prestige cosmetics. The eye shadows are soft and blendable with good pigmentation. I have a neutral to warm skin tone and the pink blush didn't look unnatural. The bronzer is not very pigmented and adds a touch of golden beige to my face. All products I have used lasted for 12 hours plus (I'm a night owl). I especially liked the girl's night out palette. (There is a brochure with tips for each palette.) It has two shades of shimmery purple (the amethyst color is my favorite), a matte dark purple, shimmery gray, a dark matte black or graphite and an all over shimmery highlighter powder. The other two palettes are just as wonderful. I wish my favorite palette included the blush, though. That would have made it just about perfect. The purse only holds one palette at a time which snaps in, and has a loop that holds the lipgloss, which is a minty neutral pink. The gloss is high quality and long lasting with peppermint. The minty freshness wears off too quickly, imo. The palettes do not have mirrors and close with a weak magnet. The purse has a small mirror maybe the size of a credit card and comes with three credit card slots. Overall, a good set. Although the company apparetly is in Belgium the palettes have a sticker that says, Made in China. I would have preferred blushes in each set as well as brushes or at least loops to hold brushes, because of that, they are quite impractical for travel or on the go.

This is an amazing value for all you get. The eyeshadow are smooth and pigmented. Love the blush and lipgloss too. Packaging is adorable. Very versatile with all the looks you can create. Great quality at a great price.

This is a fabulous set and such an amazing deal! You get 18 eyeshadows, a blush, highlighter, bronzer, lipgloss and a cute little purse/clutch thingy for $48. If you order from Tarte you can get free shipping and usually without sales tax (depending on where you live). All of the eyeshadows are colors that I will actually use. There aren't any super-glittery shadows, or extremely bright colors. There is a very nice mix of textures including matte, semi-matte, satin, shimmer, and even a couple of sparkly shadows. I really don't know why the Starlet set is getting all the attention and this set has barely been mentioned, but I just had to let people know about it! The shadows seem to be on par with the regular Tarte shadows and from what I can tell there are only two shades that might have some very minimal fallout. Honestly, this set has everything you need as far as color products. I could take just this set, some foundation, eyeliner, & mascara on a trip and have everything I needed for any look I wanted. I really could even skip the eyeliner if I wanted, because the set includes a nice matte black and a matte brown that work well for lining. Love it so much and can't recommend it enough!
