Am really loving MAC Festive Finery! I finally pulled this out tonight and MAC seems to be getting better with the formulation of their polishes.

Festive Finery is along the lines of Essie's Smokin' Hot, about a smidge lighter. It's a "greyed lavender" and a fabulous shade for that transitional time between putting away summer shades and before busting out winter shades/vampies. It's a cream finish with fabulous shine. I got complete coverage in 2 coats and it applied beautifully, very smooth and nicely pigmented. The only frustration with this one is that because of the "holiday" packaging (seriously MAC?) it was $16 instead of $15, a total joke since the only difference is a white cap as opposed to the black. Worth the extra buck? Not .. but I love the shade & bought it anyways. All in all, if you're a fan of this type of shade, it's definitely worth the splurge.

Love this new Winter color! It reminds me of Essie Smoking Hot which was from last year's collection. It looks great on any skin tone and goes on smooth. I did 3 coats to get an even shine.
