My favorite scent! I bought two bottles with a coupon and got a great deal. This scent is so light, like a flowery, blossomy, springtime scent. The sparkling honestly isn't much different from the regular version, and it's a little cheaper. I don't get a fruity smell from it at all. There's nothing heavy or overpowering about it, and it doesn't have that heavy alcohol-like scent I get with many other perfumes. Light and flowery - great for spring and summer, but it's refreshing in the colder months. I won't use anything else!

Very sweet with an almost overpowering fruit. On me anyway. Turned sour on me. I don't like anything about it - the original Very Hollywood I liked more - softer, the fruit was watermelony to my nose which I really liked, but this is sharp.

It smells good, but doesn't last long. I find myself needing to reapply by lunchtime.

Very nice scent that I was looking for a while. I used to have Versaces Jeans Couture (pink stone bottle) when was younger but they do not make it anymore. I tried a sample of this at Sephora and right away it reminded me Versaces perfume that I used to love. I got a sample and will see if I want to purchase it. It was pretty expensive and does not last that long.

I'm pretty confused as to how Very Hollywood Sparkling EDT smells more of gardenia (which it doesn't seem to contain) than the original Very Hollywood EDP which does contain gardenia. The notes for Sparkling EDT are listed as: black currant, neroli & mandarin (don't know what else). I'm also stumped that the EDT (toilette) smells much richer than the EDP (parfum), the parfum smells much lighter - usually it's the other way around. I'm sure I don't have this mixed up b/c I did specific scent comparisons @ Sephora. It's listed as a "sparkly fruity version of the eau de parfum" - I disagree.
In whatever case, I love the Sparkling version much better & don't really like the EDP at all. Sparkling reminds me of a softer, more modern version of the original Carolina Herrera (overwhelming gardenia) but Michael Kors made this more subtle & a great deal more wearable. It also doesn't last longer than 2 hrs on me (while Carolina Herrera lingers into the next day & endlessly on clothing).
The bottle is a bit tacky - I don't like the glitter frosting sprayed onto the pretty carved glass, & also the wide rectangular shape is pretty cumbersome to hold while trying to spray. Still, it wouldn't deter me from buying a bottle anyway (preferrably the small size, which is plain carved glass with no tacky glitter & infinitely prettier!). Lovely scent for day or night, especially during this season's cooler weather. Rich & seductive but still youthful, not matronly.
