I really love this product. It's the perfect consistency with just the right amount of highlight for my skin. Light, feels water based and goes well with my Dr. Jart bb cream which I use as a concealer on spots. I don't need foundation with it and since I began using it three people have asked on separate occasions what I use for skin care because my skin glows. I'm 49 with well cared for sun screened skin this is a lovely enhancement for my fair pink rose complexion. I will always have one in use and one for back up.

Here we go again with yet another love/hate relationship! Ok, so let me explain...

The glow this gives when used all over the face is fabulous. By glow I mean the dewy freshness it imparts; it is really lovely either without any foundation as under foundation (where it shines through healthily). My skin also felt wonderfully moisturized... Now when I tried to use this as an illuminator mixed in with foundation, nothing really happened. And when I tried this out as an illuminator over makeup, I got nada. So while I just love the dewy look it creates (and I can honestly say no other product out there "gives dew" on this type of level), its marketed as a multi-purpose product which really it isn't.

So given all above, here's my real - or rather - my main issue... this works pretty much the same as Strobe Cream by MAC. Sure, SC is pearly white while this is pearly beige/dirty pink, but that's only right out of the bottle. Once on, both give pretty much the same effect. Now I can say that SC is slightly less dewy than Burberry's illuminator, BUT only by a hair. AND most importantly, SC has way better ingredients in it. SC also does work as a very subtle illuminator over makeup. Last but not least, SC is $15 bux cheaper and you get way more. While this is a really nice product, it's not doing anything miraculous or innovative. This was a nice treat for me but I think I will stick with Strobe Cream, which really is not different, plus it has a few additional benefits.

UPDATE 1/26/16: I have changed my original rating of 3 stars to 4 [NOTE: I can't give 5 stars bc it still doesn't work that well/as advertised for cheekbone highlighting]... I have been using this under my foundation as a "glow primer", maybe 3-4 times a week since I purchased it. Everytime I use this I get complements galore (keep in mind I have uneven tone and acne scars). More importantly though, my skin is not as dry as it used to be. I do not understand how that is considering I have a plethora of $$$ other creams and serums but its working some kind of magic because my face is even softer and moisturized when I wash my face/remove it. I am also growing more and more impressed by this formulation in that it mixes so nicely with foundations I own that were just kind of "meh" and gives them a pop or glow, and it works beautifully with CFX color drops too. Now I realize this may not be the result for everybody, so I suggest/highly recommend you get a sample at Sephora and see if your skin loves this stuff as much as mine does.

I gave this a good honest try, but what an awful product! I have dry/combo skin and was looking for something to brighten me up a bit this Winter. This is lotiony in texture---yet it sits on top of the skin and feels greasy the entire day. It didn't give me any sort of glow but each time I wore this I felt like I needed to wash my face all day long. I tried it with several different foundations and each time it made the foundation itself look bad (ones that normally look amazing on me).
This retails for quite a bit for a primer, but to be honest---even if it had been a drugstore primer, with this performance I'd have returned it. What garbage.

I got a sample of this to try as a highlighter, so be aware that this review is as a highlighter, not a primer.
I'm of the opinion that highlighters should look like well-moisturized skin; dewy, but certainly not sparkly or shiny. When I read that this was a very subtle highlighter, I bought a sample right away on evilbay. For the first 5-10 minutes, this was perfect! Dewy, moisturized gorgeousness. Unfortunately, when it dries down it's a little TOO subtle. I had to use quite a bit of product to even notice a difference, and even then the effect is quite, quite subtle (have to really be looking for it). Now that I think about it, the subtlety makes sense, as this product claims to be about 50% water. At the rate I'd have to use it to make a noticeable difference as a highlighter, $50 a bottle is quite steep for my budget. As an all-over face product, I'd probably use up the whole bottle in less than a month, maybe 2 or 3 months for just a highlighter. I did appreciate that it's not very fragranced--something that really annoyed me with Becca liquid Opal and Benefit Girl Meets Pearl.

I am 49 years old. After two years of using Paula's Choice products, my skin looks so good that I don't want to cover it with foundation anymore! I DO still want something to impart some extra glow, however. Enter Burberry Fresh Glow. I have tried glow products from many other brands, but looked ridiculous with most of them. Clinique's Uplighting was good for quite a while, but the smell (unscented, but every bottled I used smelled "off") was making my morning routine unpleasant. I bought Fresh Glow blind from Sephora.com since no one near me sells Burberry. Not sure what to expect, I used approximately 5-6 pumps upon first application and thought, "oh, hell!!" Yup, LUMINOUS alright!! The next day I used 3 pumps and it was better, but the NEXT day I tried two pumps. By golly...that was the ticket! Two pumps spread easily over my whole face and left me with a nice glow. Then I decided to try one drop of Cover FX Drops and my whole world fell into place!! What a perfect combination! My skin looks absolutely flawless. You cannot tell I am wearing any product at all! I spoke to someone at a skincare event recently and she told me my complexion looked so well cared for. That is what I wanted. Teeny imperfections are blurred. You still see my skin's texture, pores, etc. I hate masked looking faces, but Burberrys Fresh Glow really does just blur. It's like an Instagram filter...making you just look a tiny bit better. For young skin or women my age who just want a bit of something, this is absolutely perfect and I will not be without this product again! I have a bottle of the darker version. Again, ordering online, I thought the dark would be a gold color, suitable for summer. Alas, it is quite dark, but two pumps make my skin only about 1/2 shade darker (if that), so I can use it in winter as well. Since I am fair, and quite like playing up my fair skin, I prefer the look of the lighter glow. This is such an outstanding product, in my book! I would prefer a tube over the pump as almost three weeks worth of use are left after the pump stops dispensing product. I have bought a cosmetic spatula, however to get every drop out. I wish it were about $10 cheaper, as I go through a bottle about every three months (only using two drops per day), but all of that is moot, given the excellent performace of the actual product!

If there is any glow from this product, I don't see it. I may see a little bit of shine, but it looks more like grease than luminosity. I tried it as a primer, and saw absolutely no difference, even in a 5x magnification mirror. Then I mixed it with my foundation, and still, nothing. I tried it several times and I just wasn't impressed. It may just be so subtle that to me it's imperceptible.

I've tried this product in all the suggested ways/uses and it just doesn't do anything for me.

I used Fresh Glow in No. 1 - Nude Radiance. Used as a primer/base layer under foundation, it doesn't provide any "glow" and the effect is barely visible. As a wash over the eyes, it makes my eyeshadow crease and is too frosty. As a highlighter, it makes my cupid's bow look greasy and my cheeks unnaturally highlighted. Maybe No. 2 would've been more flattering on my NC25-30 skintone.

Liquid highlighters are supposed to look more natural than powders, but my preferred highlighting product is the highlighter in the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow duo.

Unfortunately, this product did absolutely nothing for me. I tried it as a primer, using it under my normal foundation; I couldn't tell a difference. It didn't change the application or the amount of time my regular foundation lasted. I tried it as a highlighter, but couldn't see that it worked. Actually, I couldn't tell that it highlighted at all. Perhaps I didn't put enough on, I'm not sure. But I don't want thick application of anything on my face. So, I tried it solo for a minimal coverage makeup day, using a light powder to dust over it. It did give minimal coverage; so minimal, I ended up taking it off.

I can't say there's anything bad about this product; the texture is creamy, the dispenser is nice. It just didn't do anything at all. The price is way too high for such non-results as I experienced.

I use this as a liquid highlighter over primer but it is the best of all the ones I have tried. The effect looks completely natural and glowy without being glittery or metallic. A little goes a long way and I have no doubt it would be beautiful mixed in with foundation. Holds up through heat and humidity.

BEST FRESH GLOW.

It looks great on bare skin, applied under foundation, mixed in with foundation, as a highlighter, etc. Imparts a sheen/glow without sparkle or glitter. Makes your skin look radiant and healthy. A bit expensive but elevates the perfomance of all your foundations!

Packaging is heavy and beautiful with a twist-lock cap.
