This dried out my hair so badly. At first I thought it as my hair reacting to the dye but right after I switched conditioners my hair regained moisture and has not had any problems since then.

Really decent conditioner, very moisturizing. I don't like the matching shampoo...I usually use this after I clarify with Suave. Doesn't prevent color fade but it is a good conditioner.

I bought this for a long road trip late spring. I had just gotten my hair colored at Aveda, which was pricey, so I want to preserve the color as long as possible. My hair typically gets brassy during summer, so I like this had UV protection. I love it !!! I always have a good hair day when I use this, makes my curly hair soft, thick, moisturized and easy to style. This is my top pick conditioner in my rotation of about 8 others I use. I have a few because I like different scents. I'm crazy that way. Long story short, it did make my hair color stay really strong for several months. Bought a back up today in fact.

I swear by this conditioner and I have never even colored my hair... its just THAT amazing! The smell and softness of my hair is what keeps me coming back. The first time I saw it I was at a friend's and all I smelt in the bathroom was the scent of this conditioner, it was so great that I actually went and BOUGHT it, and like I said I never colored my hair before! Trust me this stuff is AMAZING! Leaves your hair soft for a really long time, long enough where I dont even need to condition my hair for a few days after using it because my hair is still soft after multiple washes with just regular shampoo. It makes it perfect if youre on a budget but want a nice conditioner. It gets the job done beautifully, and lasts a while if you dont condition your hair every time you shower. My boyfriend even compliments me on how wonderful my hair smells while I didn't even get a chance to shower yet that day! hehe. I just buy the conditioner and use a basic cheap shampoo. Sooo worth it!

The conditioner is better than the shampoo by far...it actually made my hair decently soft and it did not make my hair brassy or anything (I have blonde and brunette hair...basically half and half/ blonde on top brunette on bottom)....The conditioner could have been better though in my opinion. Makes it a little easier for my hair to brush out after the shower and it actually did not make my color fade so that's good!

DANDRUFF, DANDRUFF, AND MORE DANDRUFF. So I have no idea whether it is the shampoo or conditioner or both that causes me dandruff cause I use em both at the same time duh. I don't have dandruff prone hair at all, this is like a product to a pimple-free person that causes them acne. It isn't good but it isn't terrible either considering it doesn't dry out my hair or leave it oily and the smell is wonderfully amazing. However it just isn't enough to outweigh the dandruff problem. I can't stand it.

I have full-head color and highlights and I use this in conjunction with the matching shampoo. My color doesn't fade, my hair is clean but not stripped, and it's a fantastic price. My stylist told me to keep using it, because it did a great job.

Highly recommended.

Holy buildup batman!! I used this on my ends (which have been particularly dry as of late) and all it did was leave this weird waxy feeling. My hair was obviously still dry, but now it was coated in some chemically thingamagig.
It also has a drying alcohol (Isopropyl alcohol) in the ingredients list. No bueno! D:<

However...it smells really nice. Sort of like sugary berries. nummy~ which is why it gets 2 lippies.

The conditioner leaves a filmy buildup on my hair, not too crazy about it.

I am a mature woman age 69. I got some good coupons at walgreens to try GARNIER COLOR SHIELD FORTIFYING SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER I have colored hair. and have never tried this brand before. so I said what the heck.. It is great!!! My hair was unruly and hard to style . The first time I used them my hair was left soft and easy to be styled. and it stayed cleaner a longer time. I will buy this again and again

I don't understand how a product so inexpensive can beat others that cost 3-5 times more! This product is AMAZING!!! I've used other "color protecting" shampoo/conditioners and they either left my hair limp, or oily, or so dang itchy, or just plain didn't work. But this! It makes my hair feel softer and fuller and healthier and shinier than ever! Plus i LOVE the smell of Garnier products. So clean and juicy, I love it! I am Asian with the darkest black hair so it's very hard to keep any color...Plus my hair grows like crazy! I pretty much have to get a new cut every 3 weeks and it probably grows about two inches during that short time. I have to constantly color my hair which is a pain and also damaging. I dye it a copper reddish color so I've used the John Frieda line called "Radiant Reds" and OMG does that product SUCK!!! First of all, i have to say that it actually did make my light red highlights stand out quite a bit BUT it made my head so damn itchy, I couldn't stand it! And I've NEVER had a problem with dandruff/itchy scalp. It also made my hair limp and weighed it down, like it had some kind of film on the outer layer of it or something. Smelled boring and didn't really foam well. I'd prefer Garnier over everything I've tried. Got both shampoo/conditioner as a package deal at Target for under $7! That's almost twice as less than getting a single bottle of shampoo of the crappier, more expensive brand! WILL REBUY!

Excellent conditioner for the price. This leaves my hair very soft, detangles easily, yet does not weigh down my hair. It also doesn't strip my color. Bye Bye Biolage, this is now in my shower stall!

I'm in absolute love with both the conditioner and shampoo from this Garnier line. This conditioner along with the shampoo is the only items I have been using to clean and condition my hair for the last 3 months. After becoming a box red head earlier this year I have been trying a lot of items for colour treated hair in order to stop my red hair from fading so quickly, but still allow my hair to look clean, healthy, and shiny. This conditioner is absolutely awesome!! My hair always looks shiny, smooth, and soft. I have never had my hair look flat nor does this product seem to build up over time and start to feel gross or greasy. I will absolutely continue to repurchase and use.

Picked this up at Dollar General along with Fantasia IC Hair Polisher. This conditioner made my newly (dark) dyed hair so shiny & soft! In fact, much shinier than not using it & applying the hair polisher.

My hair is pixie short now so very little product is needed. No problems with color stripping or scalp issues (like itching, flaking, burning, etc). Doesn't make my hair greasy or go flat. This 13 fl oz bottle will last me a long time making it a great bargain at under $4.

So glad I picked up instead of a HE brand as it performs as well or better.
