Salma Hayak, thank you for creating this lovely line of pampering products! I am very appreciative.
This balm is soothing, deeply moisturizing, and imparts a beautiful hint of lucious pink on my lips! All Salma's line is extremely satisfactory to me.

This is the stuff! I got this on sale at CVS BOGO 1/2 off. The packaging is quality and I like the little pot, even though you have to twist to close it, lol. I like the scent, texture and feel of the product. Much pricier than Smith's or Bigelow's for the amount of product you get but worth it IMO. I have and like the other two, as well, btw.

I LITERALLY Just bought this Product Today! & I Am IN LOVE With The Rose Petal Hydrating Balm! First off, the Smell is AMAZING! It has A Lovely Rose Petal Smell, but NOT An over powering Smell! It's JUST Right! Not only Can U use this WONDERFUL Product on Ur Lips, but it can also be used on your Cuticles, elbows & Wherever You have Dry Patches! AWESOME Right! It Glides on, & is very MOISTURIZING! It gives A Beautiful Shine On the lips & has WONDERFUL Staying power Without being Sticky! It's NOT Sticky At All! It is also lightweight on the lips & feels silky smooth! I really Love this stuff! I am gonna definitely buy like 3 more! I Love it! My ONLY Complaint is the Packaging. It has A Lock mechanism & its not THAT Easy to open. I like the idea of A Lock mechanism, but this ones A Little Tricky! But I'm figuring That I'LL get the hang of it! & I Also think that for almost $8, that You should get More product. The Net Wt is 0.265 OZ, Which is 7.5 grams... I think for the Price it should come With More Product... Especially since its not just for the lips & can be used on other areas of the body... On the other hand, the size is ideal for travel & perfect for just throwing in your purse or car... Ect... Overall I Love this balm & I will be buying more! I can't wait to try out the whole Cosmetics line! The Products look AMAZING. If you were iffy about buying this! DON'T BE! It's an Awesome Product! ;)

I love this, have gone through like three already and feel like I can't live without 'em! I have sort of fussy, sensitive skin, but no problems with the balm despite its scent, which I find lovely. The container is a pain but the product is so worth it, honestly.
One of the greatest things about this is how it sticks to your lips (without being sticky) so you really feel that it lasts and moisturizes for days, and also that it sinks it so nicely and gradually.

I bought this hoping it would be an upgrade from Smith's Rosebud Salve, and it is. For me using petroleum-based lip products can sometimes dry my lips out instead of put moisture in. Since Smith's Rosebud Salve is practically just rose scented vaseline it's not the best lip treatment. When my lips are normal Smith's is fine, but when they're chapped it doesn't help & can make matters worse. Whereas this product helps deeply moisturize my lips no matter what state they're in. And it has a nice rose scent just like Smith's. For what a great treatment it is the price is a bargain. Will definitely be repurchasing.

They should call this Make Out Balm. Seriously, it's perfect for that! The very slightest scent of roses. Very sophisticated and yummy, and leaves the prettiest slight tinge of pink on the lips. My man loves it when I wear this, and the great thing is, you won't get lipstick all over your man (or woman) when you wear it. The only reason I took off a lippie was the packaging. It's bulky, and if you have any fingernails whatsoever, you will need to use a lip brush or you will get balm under your nails. Would be better if it came in a wider, flatter container, but yeah, I love this stuff!!

I’m sort of split on the other ‘rose’ lip balm items I’ve used (I like C.O. Bigelow Rose salve; I dislike Rosebud lip salve), but I thought I’d give this a try when the Nuance products were BOGO at CVS. I like it, but I don’t love it, and I’m glad I didn’t pay full price.
This is a nice, thick, rose-scented balm (true rose, not the odd rose-and-baby-powder scent of Rosebud Lip Salve) that’s ideal for an overnight lip treatment. It stays put and I can still feel it on my lips in the morning. I use this as sort of a ‘maintenance’ product, since my lips are not particularly dry or chapped, and it works to leave my lips plump, smooth, and healthy.
The texture is a bit thick/greasy, and not particularly fast-absorbing, and the packaging is kind of annoying (I don’t really care for the locking-feature of the cap, either) so for those reasons I don’t find it ideal for day wear. I actually find it makes a good cuticle moisturizer, as well, so I’ll keep using it nightly to use it up.
This isn’t some kind of magical balm (though I don’t know why I thought it would be!) If you like a thick, emollient balm & rose scents, you would probably like this as well. I would repurchase if I ever had the need, but only on sale.

Eh, could live without it.
It smells nice, feels alright, but eventually winds up drying out my lips. It also sometimes itches my lips, but that may be because of my super sensitive skin.
I really like the nuance lip sticks. A little disappointed in this specific product.

I love it! Smells fantastic and stays put. Great for your purse or nightstand. I love to put it on after I do my skincare for bed. I alternate using it at bed time with my Lip Fusion. Both scents sooth and relax me.

This is, by far, my favorite item from the Nuance line. I was immediately drawn to it when I saw the word "rose" - I am a huge fan of rose scents. I prefer this to Rosebud Salve any day. It comes in a smaller, more elegant container (not only is it more attractive, but it seems more hygienic as it won't take as long to use up). It is very moisturizing, smells great and lasts long enough for a balm. My only gripe is the lid - I fight getting it on and off every single time I use it...

I really wanted to like this because I like a few of the products from Salma Hayek's line. However this just does not live up to what it claims to do. My lips are always a bit dry and I'm a self-proclaimed chapstick/gloss junkie. When I heard about this balm I was excited because I'm always looking for the next best skin soother, and I love the scent of roses. When I first picked up the box, I noticed how light it was. I thought it may have been a defective box with no product in it. I had to tear the plastic seal just to make sure there was a jar inside the box. I bought it for just over $8 at CVS. For a gloss, this is pretty expensive. I opened it and immediately noticed a "lock" mechanism on the lid. I'm personally not a fan of it. I find it hard to open, or close it in the lock position, especially after I use this after applying moisturizing lotion. I can never get a good grip. The smell is nice, it reminds me exactly like Rosebud Salve. It's a bit thicker and tackier than Rosebud Slave though. It does remain on the lips longer than that salve. I also enjoy the taste of this gloss. What I don't like is how small the jar is for the price. I also don't like that you have to constantly dip your fingers in. It's unsanitary. Also, the product just DOESN'T work. It sits on my lips. My skin does not absorb it. Once this has been on my lips for a while, just every day activities such as lip licking, kissing, or eating removes it, and my lips are actually drier than before I put it on. I haven't noticed any moisturization on my lips whatsoever. Still cracked, rough, etc. Huge disappointment with this balm.

I love rose...rose anything. And this product does not disappoint in smell. It's sweet and rosy. The texture is thick and has a good amount of slip. My lips feel silky smooth. My main issue is that it's pretty gross to stick fingers in pots and I don't always have a qtip or brush at hand when I'm not home . So I can't really put this in my purse as a to go item. But it works great as a night time treatment.

It seems like other rosewater or rose type based lip balms, this does nothing on my lips. I have full lips that no matter how much water I drink, are always dry. It is the most annoying feeling in the world. I bought this when they had the spend $20 get $10 back sale at CVS. It didn't moisturize my lips at all, and I actually felt my lips feel dryer and "coarse". The scent is wonderful, the packaging is very cute, but I don't like it for a lip balm. Granted, this makes a great elbow moisturizer. The driest thing in my body besides my lips are my elbows, due to the fact that I always lean on them in class. This does an excellent job of making them look healthy. But it is too small amount to use on a regular basis. Overall, not pleased.

I was really surprised how much I liked this lip balm! When I saw "rose petal" as the scent/flavor, I just assumed it was going to be a CO Bigelow Rose Salve knock-off, but I was very wrong. The Nuance balm is denser, creamier and richer. When I put it on, it stays there and doesn't "slip off" as I find the Bigelow balm does. I have started putting it on overnight, and when I wake up, I can feel that the balm has lasted. My lips are softer, plumper and smoother, too. I actually prefer the rose flavor to the Bigelow, too - it's sweeter (but not cloying), but still has that rose petal essence. My only negative comment would be the pot that it comes in. I find the screw-top lid to be a bit challenging. It was designed to twist into a "locked" position (which I do think is a great idea) but you really have to get it twisted in and out of there juuuuuuust right to make it lock and unlock. I've gotten the hang of it now, but in the beginning I left it unlocked quite often out of frustration. Also, I'm not so crazy about sticking my fingers into a pot for a product (especially lip balm), but I do like what's in there enough to put that issue aside. (Plus, the balm can be rubbed on cuticles too - added bonus!) Overall, this balm won't replace my Jack Black balm for during the day, but this one has quickly become part of my night-time routine, and I'm loving every moment of it. A definite keeper, despite a few complaints.
