I'm in two minds about this product.
It's a real faff to use. There isn't enough colour delivered through the felt-tip, and I have to spend ages applying and colouring-in and outlining and going back over it. It's definitely not a good on-the-move product, and also needs to be stored upside down to get the colour moving through the applicator.
It's also useless over lipbalm, which always results in no colour staying on your lips, and the felt tip just getting all greasy and gunked up. Conversely though, if you use it lips that are too dry, it goes on patchy and unevenly and any dry, flaky bits of skin are always much darker and really stand out.
HOWEVER... if your lips are in great condition and nice and soft, and you've got a good 5 mins to spend in front of the mirror, and you've stored it upside down for a few hours... then this is a beautiful shade with a classic 'stain' finish which lasts for ages. And it probably is worth the effort.

Sorry to say, I don't lke this at all. This is lip stain is a total fail. I tried it right as I got home from buying it. The felt tip marker ran out of pigment before I could apply to my upper lip so my lips are too different shades if pink. I tried darkening my upperlip but the color did not budge from the marker. The balm at the end of the marker broke off upon contact with my lip. Such a shame since I was looking foward to wearing this beautiful shade for graduation. Oh well...

I'm not a great fan of the packaging because the marker starts to gets yucky and starts to dries out within two weeks or so. It is helpful to put on say two layers or so as the colour will just show more and give a better effect or natural lips and whiter teeth. The balm is handy as it helps to moisturise my lips after I apply the stain. This product is a good investment for me. But I may replace this with the New Revlon Just Bitten Balm Stains. xo

The product looked lovely on the lips of celebrities in photos, but frankly it is hard to work with. You have to put in extra effort to make the color appear. Time that I don't have. I don't see myself using this product anymore. I don't know why I didn't return it in the first place, especially since it was expensive for a lip product.

this product really lasts long! perfect for girls who wants natural looking and long lasting stain. :)
i always use this under my lipstick whenever i'm going to events so that when my lipstick rubs off, i still have that gorgeous color on my lips.
the lipbalm is okay. it just depleted faster than the stain.
definitely gonna buy just bitten again, but another shade.

One of the worst lip products I have EVER used. This was relatively expensive ($13.99 CAD) for a drugstore lip product and I still wouldn't use it even if you gave it to me for free. Now, I rarely hate products, but I just can't bring myself to like it. However, the only positive thing I can say is that it does give a relatively decent stain to your lips and it's pretty pigmented.
BUT, with that being said, this is just an crappy overall product. I've heard people complain about the balm end falling off but I haven't had that happen. The balm part is nothing special but what urks me the most is the stain end. It has a horrible marker smell and it applies very unevenly. It also dried out my lips almost immediately, even with the balm on top of it. I'm kinda pissed at myself for even spending money on this product but you can't always win.

Great colour and lasts!
This pink (Passion) is a great contrast to my dark hair. It also makes my teeth look much whiter than they are!
The stain marker is quirky and everyone always asks what it is when I am applying it.
Whenever I wear it, I always get compliments (even from my other half!)
The stain has lasted really long, have it almost a year and it has yet to dry out completely although the balm ran out really quickly. I now use a little pot of Cocoa Butter Vaseline on-top for shine and to condition my lips.
For a stain, it oddly doesn't make my lips feel really dry and the colour takes really well.
No transfer whatsoever.
I have eaten, drank, kissed, brushed my teeth with this stuff and it will still be there after!
I am quite the penny pincher so I decided to try cheaper lip stains, thinking they would give a similar result but they were useless in comparison to Revlon! I tried Boots 17 lipstain (Berry Crush), 3 different shades of the Catrice lipstain as well as the Maybelline one, to no avail!
I love this stuff! If only it came with more balm!
Happy boyfriend doesn't have lipstick face!
No nasty stains on my teeth!
Easy to use
Very little balm
Not a whole lot of shades in the range (although the ones available are really nice)

A bright hot pink that looks fresh against my pale skin and lasts at least a couple of hours. Can be built up to reach its full intensity by adding more coats, and fades very gradually. I don't find it drying or irritating, which is always a plus.

There were things I liked about this, but not enough to make up for the negatives.
This lasts really well, and I love the colour. On me, it's a fairly bright pink, which can be layered to be really really bright, or with one coat it's a slightly more natural, but still bright colour. It lasts really well - I easily get 4 hours out of it, even with eating and drinking. The packaging is a good idea, but the execution is terrible. It's not overdrying. The balm is fine. You can use other balms and gosses over the top without effecting the staying power which is good.
This is so overpriced! In Australia Revlon is way to expensive. I'm not sure how much product you get, but going by the size of the tube it is not enough. The tube is not very secure - it doesn't close tightly enough for me, and the balm just sticks out at the end, which meant mine broke after two days and I had to try and stick it back together. I wish they sold the balm seperately, because it's just meh for me.
*EDIT* I have re-rated this at 4 stars, as it has a lot more product than I thought from the tube, making it way better value for money than I thought. I will re-buy when mine runds out, although I am still not a fan of the design.

I'm glad I didn't let Passion's low ratings keep me from buying it, because I like it a LOT!
Keep in mind, though, that I *love* bright lips, bright pinks in particular, so if you prefer a more neutral lip, you may not care for this one. I, however, was looking for a pink lip stain, after my beloved and discontinued Stila "Beam" Lip Rouge finally dried up, grew mold, and was discarded.
I owned and liked a previous incarnation of Revlon's lip stains, in a red color, and decided that Passion would be a good replacement for the Stila product.
It was a good choice. If anything, I like the color of Passion even better than "Beam." Passion is a vivid, bright clear pink fuchsia. I'll admit that it's not easy to get Passion to go on evenly. What I do is use the flat side of the "marker" point to draw a quick line across my lower lip, then immediately moisten my lips and rub them together. This mutes the color just a bit, but it's still bright enough for even me.
There *is* a rather unpleasant but transient cotton-candy-mixed-with-rubbing-alcohol scent to this product, but it quickly dissipates, and at least with mine, was only noticeable on the very first use of the product.
Passion is very tenacious, lasting well even with balm (not the one on the end of the stain; mine broke off, just like everyone else's) and gloss on top. Even after a light snack and a few sips of tea, my lips were still an even bright pink.
I'm really pleased with this stain, and look forward to wearing it all summer, as a base for my treasured bright pink lipsticks. I also plan to try this stain in other colors; at less than $10 each, they're a great buy.
