This set is a great deal and it comes in different finishes (mine is the 2012 holiday collection). You get 5 for $34 which makes it less than $7 each. All full sized which if bought separately will set you back by $24 per lip tint.
From sephora's website:
2 x LipSurgence™ Lip Luster in Escape, Sweet
2 x LipSurgence™ Lip Tint in Enchanted, Elite
LipSurgence™ Matte Lip Tint Exposede
If the color is too dark, I just use a light hand and I get a natural, sheer tint. Works well for my dry lips (the only other ones I like are the Sugar Tinted lip treatments). Major plus for me - like Fresh's products, Tarte does not test on animals. Nor do they sell in China which mandates animal testing (archaic, unnecesary and cruel since so many skin and cosmetic products have already been produced without animal testing and have been used around the world by so many people without any problems).

I really like these pencils (very similar to the Clinique Chubby Sticks) and the set of 5 was a great deal. However, I really only like two of the colours (the more neutral ones). The bright pinks were much too bright for my liking. Would have preferred a set of all neutrals.

I absolutely love this set! With 5 for $29 they are as cheap as a drugstore lipstick but much better quality. While these are not the most pigmented, they are suppose to sheer, they are very moisturizing and still leave a noticeable wash of color on the lips. I think these are perfect for the winter when lips tend to get dry and lipstick can sometimes enhance the dryness. I'm usually not the type to wear any lip products with shimmer but the luster tints leave just the right amount of shimmer and the glitter is not gritty Overall, I totally recommend these and wish the sets were available year round

This is amazing! I love the pop of color it gives, adn the smell is even pretty appealing. It gives fresh, natural looking color. As for lasting power, I would say 15-20 mins. tops for how long your color will stay. It is rather creamy, so it doesn't really stick like a lip stain would. But I still like it. So right before making a big entrance, pull this out, lightly go over your lips for some pretty color, and BOOM! You got it, girl! :) It's a little too expensive for my taste. I got this as a gift, and you know how tarte's prices are...so I don't know if I would repurchase for sure. It's a maybe there. But I do think it will last a while, so it might be worth re-purchasing.

This was my first Tarte purchase. Picked up the deal of 5 for $29 at Sephora. It was a great deal, I find they last long time on the lips. I do prefer glossy look so I apply a lip gloss in coordinating color lightly over top of these. I tend to prefer the more neutral shades over the brighter corally/red ones, they just don't look right on me. I like to do my eye makeup more bold, and smokey, so I feel if I wear the bolder lip I look too made up like a freakin clown! I wish they would have done 2 different sets, one with 5 bolds for those who prefer that and a set with all neutrals. Other then that this product is real nice and I would definatley buy the neutral colors again!

I ordered this set based on the great reviews, and have no real complaints, other than I really wish the color section would have been a little more varied (and that's the main reason I wouldn't re-buy). As they are now, all the colors are sort of in the corally/peach/pink family. While most of them (except the lightest peach shade, maybe) are flattering on my pigmented lips and NC40 lips, and very moisturizing, I'd love to have seen a plum or maybe brick red shade, just to mix it up some. Other than that, it was a great value (i got it while it was still in stock for Sephora F&F) and i'd consider picking up more of these in different colors (perhaps during tarte's F&F in a couple of days).

I couldn't find out how to make a different category for these shades.
I am reviewing the lipsurgence natural lip tint/stains in swank, perky, and dazzled. I really love these products, they are fun, smell great, convenient to use, and I got them for a really good deal so I can't complain anyway.
perky and swank are stains and they are very vivid in color. I uploaded a pic for comparison. I use these everyday and love how the pens can be scrolled and the mint smell is fantastic.
Would love to soon try out some matte lip tints, but I am afraid they may dry my lips out as the lip stains do dry out your lips a bit. Anyway, if you can find a sale Id pick these up for sure. : D
^ps all my caps have cracked and broken but maybe I have a heavy hand IDK.

I have one of these lip stains in Amused (love it) and wanted to try some more colors. This is a great deal. Out of the colors there is only one that I do not like (perky- its too light for me). These stay put. I can go out to dinner, have drinks, and only have to reapply once.
Pros:
Long lasting
Doesn't feather
Not too shimmery
Moisturizing
Natural
Light, minty scent
Cons:
Not enough pigment

I just picked this up at Ulta because I couldn't resist the price of $29 for 5, when 1 retails for $24! I was worried about the colors because they didn't have testers available so I could swatch them first but I picked it up anyway because I already have Sweet and Pouty and really like them. Luckily, these colors are all very easy to wear and I can pull off all of them. I have a fair cool complexion and was most worried about the reds/dark pink (Dazzled, Swank, and Flashy) but these colors are sheer enough that they don't overpower my face. My favorites are Perky, the sheer pink, and Dazzled, the peachy coral. Swank surprised me, it looks very red but when you put it on it's a sheer cherry tint. I normally stay away from red lips but I can definitely use this one! Flashy, the fuschia/pink, is similar to Pouty but lighter and more on the pink vs fuschia side. The formula is glossy and hydrating and the shimmer does not irritate the lips because it's very fine. They have so/so staying power but they're easy (and fun!) to put it on have a slight minty scent/flavor when first applied. I like the twist up tubes so you don't have to sharpen them. Overall I'm very happy I picked up this set and if you're interested I'd suggest getting it before it's sold out again.
UPDATE: I actually wound up returning this. After time I noticed that these really dried out my lips, especially if I wore them all day. I had to put chapstick on in between applications and that kind of defeats the purpose. I also wound up not liking the way Swank and Flashy looked on me - just way too obvious, and Flashy was very glittery. I admit though that I like to emphasis my eyes more than lips and rarely do a very bold lip look, so if you like more bold colors you'd probably love those shades. I picked up the Napoloen Perdis Luxe Lipgloss set instead since I'm more into gloss anyway. That set has 5 glosses containing .4 oz of product for $39, and these sticks were only .1 oz of product, so I think it's a better deal and I'll definitely use all the shades in that set.

LE, Holiday 2011, Lip Service Limited-Edition LipSurgence™ Collection
Glitzy Lip Luster - "antique pink luster" - closer to nude, a pinked nude with slight shimmer
Perky Lip Tint - "soft carnation pink tint" - soft neutral pink, with semi-gloss finish
Flashy Lip Luster - "bright iridescent fuschia luster" - bright rosy pink with slight shimmer
Swank Lip Tint - "light cherry tint" - soft, sheer, rosy pink-red, with semi-gloss finish
Dazzled Lip Luster - "peach coral pink luster" - glossy peachy coral with a hint of pearl
Product - Generally, I expect "holiday" sets to be bright or sparkly - and this isn't. This set has a fantastic range of everyday colors; the shades are pretty yet subtle and benign. The lippies are somewhat moisturizing and wear like tinted balms, each with a faint minty scent that fades after application. The Lip Tints have a semi-gloss finish and stain the lips slightly. The Lip Lusters are relatively sheer and more of a gloss, with a very fine pearl/shimmer finish - not glittery, chunky, or over the top. Glitzy is my favorite of the bunch - great for everyday, and I'd love to purchase this shade individually in the future. Swank is a very easy to wear shade of sheer red. Dazzled seems to highlight lip imperfections on me more than the other shades.
Packaging - Twist-up crayon pencil with silvertone cap. Plastic casing reflects the shade inside. Be careful not to nick the pointy tip of the product with the lid when you put the lid back on :) These LipSurgence lippies are normally $24 each, so the set of 5 full-size items at $29 was a spanking good deal.
Overall - Love this set of shades - very wearable! I have a gazillion lippies and never buy back-ups (not enough storage space) - but I'd actually consider buying a backup of this set.

This is indeed a great deal! Glad I ordered mine as soon as I saw it on the site because by the time it arrived in the mail it was already sold out. These are great- they are what Id wanted ud's super saturated hi gloss lip color to be but with better color options, and more creamy/blendable! They are very moisturizing, with a glossy sheen and a nice pepperminty scent. Maybe not too long lasting but they leave a little stain which is great. I like all the colors. I wish they had included a plum but i can always pick that color up individually. Would repurchase if I ever ran out and if it was still available at that time which is of course not going to be the case. Ive uploaded 2 pics- a stock photo and swatched on my arm L-R: swank, glitzy, perky, flashy, and dazzled.

I got this kit before it sold out, and Im sooo thankful! I got 5 liplusters for $29, which 1 sells for $24. what a steal. So here are the colors if sephora ever gets it in stock:
Glitzy: light pink with shimmer (its more a warm nudey pink). Its very similar to Peaceful available in stores, while peaceful doesnt have shimmer.
Perky: cooltoned lavender pink with sheen. Every similar to Lucky available in stores.
Flashy: dark fuschia pink with sheen. similar to Pouty but Flashy more fuschia than Pouty is more mauvey.
swank: brick pinkish red (no orange) which is the darkest color. similar to Lust actually.
Dazzled: the most sheerest reddish coral color.
I dont know if I will get the set again (if it even becomes available). My favorite color is glitzy and dazzled which look the most natural and daily wearable. Perky is great for when I wear cooler pink or purple colors. Flashy and Swank are going out. Out of all the colors, if glitzy ever becomes available that is the only color i would buy.
