I'm on my second bottle. This is a gentle, non-drying, foaming cleanser with a crisp, herbal scent. My skin has gradually but visibly improved since I began using this cleanser about a year ago, becoming more balanced (it used to be quite oily in the summer, especially my forehead, but became dehydrated and uncomfortable in the winter) and breaking out less frequently. I've had acne for the past ten years, with both the deep cysts associated with inappropriate diet and hormone/liver imbalance, and the little whiteheads that come out whenever I go too long without cleansing or try out a moisturizer. While I do still break out, both types of spot have become much less common for me. I attribute this to the gentle base of this cleanser, and to the radish ferment high on its list of ingredients. I believe that this ingredient has helped to encourage a healthier mix of flora on my skin, which in turn has improved the overall health and appearance of my face. Because of my continuing good results, I will continue to buy this cleanser, especially for use in the summer.
Note: this is not strong enough to remove makeup, so I often pre-cleanse with Earth Science ADE Creamy Cleanser, or a bland carrier oil. It does seem to remove my Cliniderm mineral sunscreen though.

I have extremely oily skin which I find very embarrassing. A few hours after washing my face I'm usually shiny and have to use at least two oil blotting papers before I can apply powder again. I read a few reviews about this product and thought I'd give it a shot. I bought the face wash, serum and mist.
I have to say that from day one, my skin was far less oily. I could even go for the majority of the day without using blotting paper. I washed my face twice a day and then used the serum as a spot treatment and carried the mist in my purse.
While it does cut down on the oil (or sebum, if you prefer), I found that my skin broke out a lot while using it. It just isn't strong enough for me.
I now use it after my regular face wash. It seems excessive, but between the two, my skin is now clear and relatively oil free without being too dry. I'm looking forward to the summer and seeing how it holds up against Tokyo's humid steam bath.

I'm surprised there are no other reviews of this product. This is a great, non drying but foaming face wash that cleans gently. It doesn't get all eye makeup off, but it does clean off most everything else. There's a great fresh scent to it; the foam isn't runny so it's easy to spread over the face, and it is a lot more reasonably priced than the Fresh soy face wash without the parabens. I'm on the second reorder.
