GORGEOUS color! It might look daunting when you see it just sitting there on the shelf in its bright red state, but it is the most amazing eyeshadow on! It's so unique, I get compliments every time I wear it.
Also, the texture of it is wonderful. It glides on and is smooth and easy to apply and work with.
This was my first Stila eyeshadow, and it has turned me onto purchasing more Stila's! It will be a staple of mine for a long time.

Product - The shade name "Terracotta" is a bit misleading - it resembles nothing like orangey clay earthenware pots, but rather this is more of a festive raspberry-cranberry red with metallic finish. Pigmentation and staying power are very good. Texture is typical of Stila - silky and smooth and easy to blend. Terracotta is not a shade I can pull off as eyeshadow - I actually use this in a custom Stila palette as a blush.
Comparisons - Terracotta is a very close to (and maybe a tinge deeper and redder than) NARS Crazed powder blush and a little lighter than NARS Mounia powder blush.
Packaging - 35mm pan. Got this on sale from Stila, as this shade is being discontinued.
Overall - Love this as a blush instead of as an eyeshadow shade.
