Great color - got this in the Summer 2011 collection with Brazilliant.

Fuschia with a purpley shift but mostly just fuschia when applied. Has a suede-like finish - but a topcoat fixes that.

I will say it does peel off pretty easily. Great summer color though.

I always check my Walgreen's clearance bins, and a lot of the time they will have some Essie's in there for $4. I picked up "Super Bossa Nova" today. It's a pink/fushia/red creamy with some (tiny amt.) of shimmer. It dries sorta dull, but with SV it's very pretty. Essie confuses me.....I'm very intrigued by their polishes, but application is not always great. I like them enough to deal with the polish getting a little "goopy" on second application.

I got this in the Essie Summer Collection 2011 and just like Braziliant, the coverage is so fantastically creamy opaque and smooth that I can definitely get away with one coat. The color is a bright strawberry jam pink/red with mostly pink fine shimmers. I don't get a purply blue flash like the photo up here, just a rich bright magenta (=fuschia) pink/red. Looks fantastic on my pale warm skin. Its a similar shade to Avon's new Speed Dry polish in Strawberry. The only negative I could say about Super Bossa Nova is its not the shiniest finish - I like to put a top coat on this one, which is actually good because that helps extend wear.

Super Bossa Nova is a lovely fuchsia with very fine bright pink/purple shimmers. Essie's Nail Polish formula makes me want to scream at times - the first coat applied beautifully, and the second coat was difficult to spread. It was like applying old, goopy polish to my nails. I have this problem with Essie all of the time. But, by the time I applied my top coat (Seche Vite), no signs of a "struggle" showed through. It's a very pretty summer shade for the fingers and toes. The reason I'm rating it a 3, is because it peeled off my nails in ONE day! On my fingers AND toes. I would not recommend this shade.
