This scent wears really well on me. The bottle is very cute; an apple shape.
Top Notes: red toffee apple. Middle Notes: Calabria lemon. Base notes: cedar wood.
It just seems to work with my body chemistry. I love everything about it. It lasts, it smells great, the bottle is gorgeous. I fell in love, what can I say?
If you love sweeter scents, give it a try. It's not cotton candy cloyingly sweet, but it does contain sweet top notes that open up to something more. This one should be investigated. I recommend it.

I really love Nina by...etc, anyway, I was given this by my boyfriend because he couldnt tell the difference between the two and i didnt wasnt to dissapoint him so i pretended he got the right one. And i'm glad i did, actually, because i have really grown to love this scent! And have grown a bit tired of the fruity gormands i phased through for so long. Not as sweet as the original, a bit more grown up. Red fruits with caramel and some light florals. Yum.

I quite like the original Nina from 2006 and have used up more than one bottle of it. Unfortunately, I don't think this flanker does it any justice. They seem to have suffocated the scent with the most ordinary red fruit -I have nothing against berries or other fruit but they are so dull in this formula. I also get some lightweight licorice - not a favourite note of mine. To me L'Elixir lacks the charm of original and is very generic. The bottle is beautiful though. I had a FB but gave it away.
