Apple shampoo on my skin. It is not necessarily a bad thing but makes Body very expensive for what it is.

This perfume is very fresh and strong when first sprayed. It is like grass or rain. I like it, i find it refreshing. The sharp bright fresh smell quickly drys away to reveal soft sensual powder then the roses bloom, mingled with amber and sandalwood. Vanilla is also in the picture, but very subtly, so the perfume is not a super sweet smell.
The name BODY is truly correct. If skin was a possible fragrance, it would smell like this. I think of cozy cashmere blankets/sweaters when I smell this. This is a great perfume for getting close and personal with someone. This is also a perfume wonderful for day or night and any season. Beautiful, nude, sensual, soft, understated...
This is one of my favorite perfumes that I will continue to buy.

This is a new classic, it is clean, fresh, beautiful. It is a walk in the park in the city after the rain, or early in the morning with the dew, smelling freesias and roses and jasmine mixed with grass maybe. It smells clean, fresh, it's floral but not flowery, it is not country garden but more someone's garden as you walk down the street in the evening, with night jasmine and clean air mixed with a hit of the city, somehow, which keeps it feeling modern.
It is a very wearable scent, perfect for daytime or work. This is a light yet long wearing fragrance.
It can lean to baby powder but let it settle and the layers will blend. It is quite beautiful but not 'pretty' - it is not a fragrance reserved for young girls, it is something I could see any age wearing actually. I like it and it'll be one that I grab to spritz my wrists on the way out the door of a morning. It is more spring than summer, it's more picnic and roll in the grass.. than beachy frangipani and outdoor bars on a hot night. It is refreshing and lovely.

I spritzed Burberry Body (after getting a headache from Modern Muse), and ahhh, this is so much better! The contrast from the sharp fresh florals of Modern Muse to the soft warm comforting cashmere woods of Burberry Body made me appreciate BB more than I ever have before.
I'm wearing Burberry Body right now, and here are the notes, per parfumo.net:
Top Notes: Absinth, Freesia, Peach
Heart Notes: Iris, Rose, Sandalwood
Base Notes: Amber, Cashmeran, Musk, Vanilla
Honestly, there is one note that's **almost** (but not quite) a problem for me, and that must be the absinth topnote? (I think) It's sharp, green, bitter, astringent -- like menthol. It reminds me of Chanel #19 EDT, and I don't like #19 or green perfumes in general.
However, mixed with the peach & other soft warm notes, the absinth serves to inject a freshness & bite -- a liveliness and interest -- to what might otherwise have been just a boring bland soft woody nude scent.
Where most perfumes have a citrus topnote for freshness, this one has absinth, which comes off a little weird. It has a fresh effect, but in a sharp green antiseptic way -- almost like an aromatic pine or juniper note -- or menthol -- or mouthwash.
Body's combination of notes is quite unusual and difficult to describe. Thankfully, Body is neither sweet (like Sensuous & Rihanna Nude are) ... nor powdery (like Sensuous Nude is). Overall it's a soft warm light nude comforting woody skin scent -- yet it's complex also -- with that absinth edge and snap to it. Burberry Body manages to incorporate an aromatic zing -- as well as a soft natural skin-scenty woody warmth -- simultaneously.
When it first launched, I bought a bottle of Burberry Body -- then I gave it away -- then later I actually craved the scent, bought another bottle, and ahhh -- I was so glad to have this scent back again. It's unusual and, for me, kind of mysteriously addictive.

Can't figure this scent out, it's very confusing. At first spray I found it appealing, sweet but sexy. Then it continued to evolve into a big mess and a cheap smelling one at that. With a name like Body I was expecting a clean simple modern fragrance in the style of a Calvin Klein.

Like it alot..I really wanna save up for the full size. I tried a sample and it was amazing. SO different from other fragrances b/c its so unique and spicy. Definately a winter scent. Not for those who are sensitive to heavy fragrances. Brings back very good memories

this scent confuses me. it smells different everytime i smell my wrist and even smells different on my right wrist than my left. i find the initial smell to be very soapy...or like shampoo. as it dries down, it becomes powdery and musky but still clean. i dont find this perfume lasts long but it does smell nice....its a complicated scent...sweet spicy soapy musky....perplexing!

This was given to me as a gift and I absolutely love it! Very unique scent, and it lasts all day on my skin. Classy bottle too. I find its packaging convenient because I can easily slip it in my bag unlike other bottles that are way too wide and bulky. I wouldn't purchase the same product though because I'd like to try a new scent every now and then.

I have received a generous sample of this and while I normally love Burberry fragrances but this one is bleh... It just has too many things going on at once. Sweet, bitter, spicy, fresh... Make up your mind already! It really is like I sprayed on multiple scents at once, not a good thing! Really a disappointment, I was expecting something simpler for a fragrance named Body. Ended up scrubbing it off, I got a real headache out of it :(...

I like this perfume even though I said I wouldn't buy it again. It is very unique and everything I initially smell it I love it. However, the only reason I wouldn't buy it again is bc after the dry down I sometimes smell a "bug spray" chemically whiff. This happened when I tried it out at Sephora but I thought maybe it was the mixture of the other perfume I had put on earlier in the day. Regardless, it might just be my body chemistry! It's def a unique smell and it smells good. I think I like Burberry Brit better; it's a little deeper. Both good fragrances!
