This is my HG eyeshadow primer. I absolutely love this stuff! I've put this under my eyeshadow and gone out to the bar and have been too alcohol-influenced to care to take my makeup off when I've gone home, so I've gone to sleep and when I have woken up my eyeshadow hasn't budged. My eyeshadow has never once creased with this primer. It brings out the colours very well. It lasts through sweat with no problems. I literally have no complaints about this other than if you have darker skin then you might not like the colour of it, but if you're putting eyeshadow on top of it anyways it won't really make a difference.
And the best part about this is that it's $3!
I reach for this more than my Lise Watier primer and my Urban Decay eye primer - no joke. I almost never use those anymore and instead I'll use this because it actually works better. I'm on the fourth bottle of this stuff. I can't believe for the quality of the product you get that it's only $3.

HG eyeshadow primer. It has a colour so it cancels out any veins on my eye lids. It has a nice doe foot applicator. A bottle lasts a long time and it makes my shadow stay all day. I will repurchase

Very orange, and performed very poorly. I have oily lids, and am still looking for a primer that will work. This had a pretty good rating, and was cheap, so I gave it a try. If you are fair, this is not going to be a good color. The orangeness really was a problem. If it worked, I would work it out somehow, but it did nothing for me. My eyeshadow creased very quickly.

Having extremely oily eyelids, I will never put eyeliner/eyeshadow/mascara on without an eye lid primer. I have time and time again bought the Urban Decay Potion Primer and was looking for a cheaper alternative that was comparible. I was hopeful but of course, I was let down. The texture has a creamy consistency, I prefer it to set a bit more matte. It creases after a few hours.

This is a really good cheap primer if you aren't willing to pay big bucks. I find it works really well to keep my eyeshadow in place and I would recommend to anyone

I have been using this for months now and I love it. It makes my eyeshadow last a lot longer and look richer in colour, especially darker shadows.

Formula: Fast-drying but quite blendable before it dries. After it dries, it doesn't budge unless I wash it off (which I guess is what a primer is supposed to do!). Locks my eyeshadow on like a magnet for 8 hours at the very least. It stops me from becoming shiny/creasy.

Pigment: opaque flesh tone. It is a tad on the yellow-orange side (but I am quite fair-skinned and most products have this effect on me). I imagine people with more colour to their skin would have less of an issue with the pigment in this product. When I'm using light coloured shadows, or to match my skin tone during winter months when I'm extra pasty, I dab a thin layer of nyx white eyeshadow base over top, and immediately apply shadow (or sometimes pressed powder and then shadow) and it works perfectly.

Packaging: Not my favourite part of this product, but I can deal because I love the product itself! The wand reminds me of a cheap fuzzy lipgloss wand, so I usually apply it to the back of my hand and blend it onto my lids with my finger or a small blender sponge. The wand is also way too short to reach the bottom of the tube, which is a problem when it's running low. The thing that removes excess product from the wand can sometimes squeegee off a little too much when it's running low as well. Today I decided to (carefully) wedge it off with a thin sharp knife and it's much easier to use. Definitely don't do this until you've almost used the whole tube though.

Price: Super cheap. I think it's around 3 bucks. Awesome considering the quality plus how much product you get.

I have a small suitcase of spares of my favourite products and I Heart Stage is always in it (along with many other Essence products, because they're always discontinuing stuff).

Overall, awesome product with great staying power. Definitely make sure you blend it well and quickly, and add a white base and/or some lighter pressed powder overtop if you're fair skinned like me.

Used it only once and it was a big no. It didn't do anything for my oiliness or my eyeshadow duration.

_____ OVERVIEW
"Eyes ready for the stage! The perfect eyeshadow primer to intensify any eye look, help eye shadows last longer and prevent creasing."

_____ CONSISTENCY, COLOR
Consistency and color are similar to that of a liquid concealer. It has a beige color with peachy/yellow undertones (no shimmer), so it works well to cancel out veins and redness around the eyes. It spreads easily and has medium coverage.

_____ OPINION: 4/5
I've used this for about a year now and I'm pretty satisfied overall. It holds everything in place for the most part, and my only complaint would be that my eye makeup fades a little throughout the day. It isn't sweat-proof though, so I wouldn't recommend this for hot summer days.
The packaging is not my favorite design-wise, but it's sturdy.

Claims:
Long-lasting: 4/5
Intensifying: 4.5/5
Prevents creasing: 4/5

It doesn't have the water-resistant formula a lot of high-end bases have, but for ~3€, it's a great base.

really love this product for a number of reasons. The biggest being I have really, really brown toned lids. So much to the point where I look Im wearing a wash of brown eyeshadow all the time. Not gonna lie, it can be a real time-saver, but I'm a sucker of nude eyeshadows and I was so sick of constantly building up nude colours on my lids: it was messy, expensive and it took too long. After some research I found this at target. First of all, this stuff is super high coverage and pigmented, I love it! I just dab some on my eyes and blend it up to my browbone and it hides all the brown discolouration and some veining. My eyeshadow goes so well over the top and I would say it lasts extremely well throughout the day, maybe 7-8 hours. It is quite an orange formula though but I honestly don't see it on my eyelids because they're so brown, so if you have lighter colour lids I wouldn't recommend this. For $5, you definitely cant go wrong with this. Def re-purchasing.

I was looking for an inexpensive eyelid primer to hold me over until the VIB sale, and I don't think I'll need to purchase a new one after using this! I love the doe foot packaging, and you need the tiniest amount for both eyes. The colour is off putting at first (darker and on the orange side) but it's easy to control with how much product you use. It cancels out any discolouration well and isn't noticeable once you apply your eyeshadow over top. I try to work fast with it because it's also thick but that also depends on how much you use. You don't need a lot. I'm really impressed with this product and I'm so happy I finally tried it.
