This review is for the SOLID perfume.

This is such a lovely fragrance. I was disappointed at first as I was expecting roses like Jurlique's rose scented products which is the pure rose smell that I am familiar with. I wouldnt say this is a pure rose and that's probably because it's a mixture of 4 different roses but it is very beautiful. It starts off a bit green then mellows down to a nice soft rose. It's very comforting. It makes me feel feminine but not in an overly girly way more like in a chic french way. It's gentle but I think if you use the EDT and spray liberally it might get a bit overpowering. The packaging I got is the heart shaped tin which is really cute but I really struggle to open it! especially if you've just put hand cream on! Shame really. Perhaps the new round tins would be better. I would buy again and would even look into the EDT and the whole rose range.

Update: It's addictive! Getting high on my own arm!

The best thing about this perfume is that it does not smell artificial at all. This is delicate, but long-lasting. Three spritzes lasts all day (and I mean ALL DAY). It never smells overwhelming or grandma-ish. If you like floral perfumes, this one is a winner.

I find this really beautiful.
It's not complicated at all, starts with a burst of juicy blackcurrant and then you get a fresh bouquet spring roses for a few hours. The drydown is somewhat creamy with sandalwood, nutmeg, cedar and heliotrope but still rosey.
Also it goes with a reasonable pricetag (35 euros for 75 ml or 20 euros for 20 ml approximately) and a pretty yet minimal kind of retro clear glass bottle with light pink juice.
You can't get a more natural fresh springy rose than that.
Very happy and romantic. Would recommend.

It smells just as roses in my garden. Very fresh non sweet smell. Like small roses in a flower shop. Very natural. A bit like crushed flowers with a hint of green.
It's very natural non offencive smell, nice for the day wear. It doesn't really have different notes, just a rose. I dislike artificial, alcoholic or generic smells. Or soapy chemical ones...
It's not very strong, so you need to spray a lot. I'd say foresty-refreshing. Better for the younger girls I guess, as it's uncomplicated and not musky- ambre like. Too simple for a real sophistication but a really nice mono- fragnance.
UPD. I owned it for a few weeks now. On one hand I got compliments on this one. (yay!) On the other hand the smell could get tiresome, so I use it eather on morning or evening. Staying power's not bad: 3-4 hours, wich for me is good. All in all this fragnance is something I go for once in a while and am happy with it.

This is my first L'Occitane fragrance purchase. I smelled this on a lady who swapped it on her wrist from a miniature fragrance she had in her purse and i caught a whiff of it - and loved the smell... I asked her what she was wearing and she gave me some to put on my wrist.

Let me start by saying I love flowery or powdery fragrances and I definitely love Rose smelling perfumes. Rose is such a romantic flower and im a romantic person at heart. I have 2 other rose perfumes: D&G Rose the one (lovely and fruity) and Stella Sheer (I only smell Rose - lovely, but quite synthetic and sharp).

L'Occitane's Rose 4 Reines is LOVELY! its the most beautiful rose fragrance i have ever smelled! I absolutely love it... it does not smell synthetic AT ALL, its smells like real roses, like it have just been picked and juiced from a rose garden. It is complex too, as it doesn't smell like 1 rose, it contains 4 roses: the Grasse rose, the Bulgarian rose, the Moroccan rose and the Turkish rose. Its absolutely beautiful, I definitely recommend it.

Im the first to review this... i hope others will try this out! Im sure anyone who loves the smell of roses will love this fragrance. Im a perfume junkie and have so many, so I will have to use up my other perfumes, but i cant wait to try more perfumes in the L'Occitane range!
