I initially had received a mini of this from Jouer customer service when I inquired about a lipgloss color that was sold out. I was quite impressed by it, so decided to purchase the full-size for $15.
As others have mentioned, this is rather sticky. It has a bit of a clear lipgloss consistency, though not as tacky, and the viscosity is slicker. There is a shiny finish, and the slight pink tint doesn't really show up on the lips. It actually reminds me a bit of a similar product by Nivea, except without the fragrance. The Nivea also comes in a squeeze tube with a slanted tip.
Jouer claims that if applied 3X a day for 29 days, it will plump up the lips. I've not tried it that way, as I use other lip products during the day,. I use this at night before bed, and when I wake up and wipe off the excess, my lips are very soft, and though they don't feel plumper persay, the lines are definitely smoothed ou (which gives the illusion of plumper lips.)
Overall, I do really like the Conditiioning Lip Treatment, and will likely purchase when I run out.

I read a good review of this so I wanted to try it. I try every new lip balm that I hear about because I am on the search for the one that will actually cure my superdry/peeling/cracking/wrinkled lip issue. This is slightly thin - not as creamy or greasy as I expected. It's nothing special and two hours after applying, my lips are back to their usual sad state. This feels like a drugstore product and I will not repurchase. The search continues. sigh.

I also received this in my Birchbox and thought it worked very well on my lips. My lips looked supple and soft without any waxy feeling. It goes on smoothly and doesn't break me out around my lip area. I think it is pricey for what it does and I have other lip balms that perform just as well for less money. I also have to reapply which for being a lip treatment I was expecting to provide consistent moisture. However the difference is the silky feeling it gives my lips and for that I give this a four rating.

Expensive, but worth the price!
I don't know what's in this stuff, but it works wonders for chapped lips and in a hurry!
I am prone to chapped, cracked lips a lot in the winter months - very painful. I smooth on some of this, and my lips feel immediate relief and look and feel better within a day of using this.
Nice, glossy, non-sticky formula.
If I apply this before going to bed, my lips look like new when I wake up.
I just wish they added a more pleasant scent.

Imagine the taste of plastic any time you inadvertently licked your lips or if you put too much on. Ugh. The smell/taste of this is disgusting.
For something so expensive, it shouldn't smell/taste/feel so cheap. It's slimey and gross.
I cannot even tell if it's working. Definite skip!

Also received this in my Birchbox. I guess I may be the minority here, but I dont find this to be at all spectacular. It does make my lips feel and look great for a while, but I found it doesnt last very long on my lips. Even crappy burts bees can last through breakfast and morning coffee. I find myself constantly re applying this, more so than my cheap chapsticks. Ill use it up, but I certainly wont be paying 15$ for the full size.

I received this in my Birchbox as everyone else seems to have and I LOVE IT! I didn't notice I had dry lips UNTIL I started using this. I haven't used it during the day since I'm not a fan of reapplying makeup throughout the day so I've only been using it at night and my lips are amazingly soft in the AM. I won't hesitate in buying the full size once I run out of the sample.

also got this from birchbox, and i think it's great! I bought the full size one- it was 14$ but i only paid 7$ for my entire order b/c 6mo discount and using 300pts (don't forget to review products for extra 10 points each). I can't say that it is entirely plumping but my lips do feel "fuller". What is really great about it is the longevity. You can feel it on your lips for a long time and it doesn't wear off. It makes them really soft and buttery. Gives your lips a girly pink shine. I use it alone and before lipstick.

I got this in my Birchbox, and I really like it! It doesn't seem to plump much, but it does moisturize incredibly well, and it's a pretty pearly shine and smells good as well. I think it may be my current fave lip balm.

I like this well enough,it's very moisturizing feeling. Lip enhancer? nah.
It's clear and has a fresh scent and well it does most of what it's supposed to do :)
I would probably not repurchase only because there are so many products out there that cost less and do pretty much the same thing.

Like many reviewers, I received this in my birchbox & I love it. It does go on thick but not sticky at all. Give it a few minutes and it will dry up. And since I usually put it on at night, it makes my lips super soft for the am.

I also got this in a Birchbox. I don't like it at all for my lips..it feels like wax and tastes really gross. But it works great as a cuticle moisturizer! I prefer it over my Burts Bees cuticle cream and Solar Oil. But it is super expensive so I wouldn't buy it.

I got this in my october birchbox. At first i just used it like any other lip balm but the other day i actually read what it does. I love how smooth and conditioning it is on my lips, it deffinently has put the moisture back into them and it feels heavenly when i put it on after ive taken off my MAC matte lipstick since thats so drying on my lips. I havent really paid attention to if my lips got plumper from it but ill deffinently be paying attention now and Ill deffinently be buying the full size when i run out of my sample.

I love this lip balm. It doesn't make my lips any bigger (Thankfully, as they are fine the way they are!) But it is VERY moisturizing. I have very dry lips, and this helps a ton. That being said, ChapStick Ultra Moisture (in a squeeze tube) has the same benefits, for about $4. Luckily, I received this for free. (I won a shopping spree with them during Fashion's Night Out, hehe).

Got this in my Birchbox (birthday gift from my BF) recently. I thought it was just a lip balm but shortly after I began using it I noticed that my lips were getting really full and plump. I have naturally pretty thin lips and have had injections done in years past to give them fullness and definition and this stuff makes them look like I've just had them "done". Not to mention that I love the moisture/sheen it provides. I went through the BB sample quickly and ordered a full size. Use it all through the day and LOVE IT!

I was very excited when I received this product in my Birchbox initially. Then I read it for lip enhancement as well. Being of African descent I don't need help in that department. I was amused by it anyway and still decided to try it if only for the conditioning properties.
Yes, it worked for conditioning. My lips felt a more smooth and silky. However, I was under the impression that lip enhancements would tingle in some shape or form. It didn't do any of that. It never did.
It's consistency is thick and it doesn't have a scent or taste in my opinion. Yes, it delivered on it conditioning treatment promises but when it comes to lip enhancement, even I know it missed the mark. I can get just as moisturized and conditioned lips for much less.

Let me preface this by saying I have sensitive, dry lips and most lip balms do not hydrate my lips and even make them peel! I drink tons of water and have plenty of fats in my diet, so I know it isn't either of those things. I even switched to a sulfate free TOOTHPASTE in hopes of solving my issue, which helped, but didn't cure it.
This lip balm is my favorite, and I have tried tons. It does have a light floral taste but I don't notice it after the initial application. I basically try every single lip balm that hits the drugstore market as well as some higher end ones and I have yet to find one that can truly compare. All of the oils in it make it super hydrating and the product gives a nice sheen to the lips. Now, I can't say it has a plumping effect other than your lips looking fully moisturized.
I have been using this for well over a year at this point. I can't be without my lip enhancer and have one tube at work, one by my couch at home, and one in my purse at all times. I have gone through at least 3 tubes by now! Yes, it is pricey, but for me it is worth it.

I'm not sure if it works. I didn't notice any difference on my lips as far as "enhancing" action. However, this product tasted terrible to me and I didn't even lick my lips! It's just part of the taste that naturally seeps in which tastes very much like perfume chemicals or something to the like.
It feels nice on lips and the color looks very sheer and pretty on, so I like it for that reason, but I just can't get past the taste.

I am a lip balm junkie. I use balm everyday under lipsticks and glosses or worn by itself. Jouer at $14 for .33 fl oz is definitely the most expensive balm in my collection, but it overpromises and severely disappoints. When I apply it to my lips, I feel like I'm wearing a hard, waxy film. Instead of soaking into my lips giving them a hydrated feel, it simply sits on top of my lips. There is no plumping tingle. It wears off after about three hours and leaves my lips feeling more dry than had I not applied anything at all. The product has a slight pink tint, which is so minute that it is pointless. According to their official website you're supposed to apply 3x daily for 29 days to increase the fullness of your lips which of course at this point feels like a gimmick to boost their profits. This is where I'm left wishing that Jessica Simpson would relaunch her Desserts line. Her products didn't come cheap, but they absolutely delivered on their promises. Sadly Jouer promises what it doesn't deliver.
