I still have this product but gave up on using it. First, it is not waterproof and it creases on my eyelids after a couple of hours. The same result I get if I don't use any primer at all. Also, it it very tricky to use and I don't like how messy it gets in the pot after a while. I will stick to liquid primers they work so much better to me. For the price of 24$ I woudn't recommend this one.

I don't like this product. I have used other primers and have found them to work MUCH BETTER. This causes my eyeshadow to crease, and my eyelids start to actually look greasy. I will never buy this again. I used to use Clinique Quick Eyes Cream Shadow as a base and LOVED it. Too bad its discontinued.

I got this as a GWP in the nude shade (they also offer it in a deep shade) and it's wonderful! I have used UDPP and other primers, but this is the only one with enough pigment to completely erase any lid color before applying my shadow. It's very silky, and feels much more moist than some others - I think you just have to be sure to close the lid tightly after each use. It keeps my shadow from creasing all day, and I've even used it as an under-eye concealer and it works equally well. Love it.

This keeps my eye shadow on well. I think this works better than the Urban Decay potion on me. I have the nude color. A little goes a long way

This is a little on the pricey side, but this is honestly how MAC's Paint Pot in Painterly should be like( not colour wise obviously 2 completely different colour, but texture and quality etc.)
I found this worked great for me!
It's s a smooth and blendable cream formula, beige eyeshadow base. the thing I like most about is it does actually even out the tone of my eyes before my eyeshadows go on. I sometimes just wear this alone, and it makes my eyes look really awake and even toned.
Keeps my eyeshadows on all day, I can understand how this would crease and fold for a lot of people. I had that same problem initially, but then I realise minimal is the key word for me.

This is.............adequate. I do not find it as awful as some have said it is. I don't find it all that great. After having used UDPP, NARS, Too Faced Shadow Insurance, et al. This is, as I said, adequate. Fine in a pinch if you've run out of your usual HG base. I purchased this to get a GWP w/ Lancome that I wanted. This works for me because I really don't suffer from oily eyelids, but it doesn't help to intensify the color, nor does it really help the color apply any easier or better than without it.
It is exorbitantly expensive for a low quality product and does nothing extraordinary for the price that is charged.
I would not recommend it, go buy UDPP which is better @ a cheaper price or NARS which is excellent and STILL at a cheaper price.

Highlights crepeiness, caused irritation, and made eyeshadows and concealer crease. Does exactly what it's not supposed to do. A waste of money and time.

This is really bad. It's not even waterproof! For the price of this product, I would exepct much more quality. Plus, I just found out that Lancome tests on animals, yuck!

This was one of the first shadow primers on the market and it's still a favorite of mine. I have tried a few others, Laura Geller, Benefit, and Clinique. This applies smoothly, a little goes a long way. My shadows never ball up on this primer. This happens with the others, listed above, towards the outer part of my eye and I have to scrape it away. My shadows hold their color pigment all day, no creasing, no fading. Blending is much easier with a good primer.
I have never had these dry out on me.

OKAY! The only reason why I will re-purchase this stuff is it is the only primer that I have found that will keep mineral eyeshadows on without creasing. I only have 3 mineral eyeshadows and once they are gone I am never re-purchasing them again which will end the aquatique reign. I did try this product under my regular shadows and quite honestly it sucked. I have very oily skin and found that my eyeshadow faded and creased in the same amount of time as though I had applied nothing to my lids. Other than that I will stick with my TFSI.

This was the first shadow base I ever bought. At first it was fairly creamy and my shadow stayed in place for about 8 hours, but never 12. Within 3 months, although I hadn't used even half, the product began to dry out, becoming hard to apply with a brush or my finger, requiring me to pull my lids to get it even. NOT something I want to do! The only thing I've been able to use it for is a spot concealer for my face - with a small stiff brush, I can stipple it over the small capillaries that are beginning to show.
I've been happier with ELF mineral eyeshadow primer. My shadow lasts longer than with the Aquatique, and I could by eight of them for the price of the Lancome!

It seemed too good to be true, receiving a very generous-sized GWP jar of this base - and, of course, it was. I found Aquatique easy to use (applying a tiny amount with a small brush), and it did work well for me in preventing creasing, but its rosy-orange color was simply unworkable. How in the world has this product lasted so long, considering how dramatically it alters the color of any e/s shade worn over it? Glad I didn't pay money for it.

This product is the only one that ever kept my shadow from creasing. The consistency is a little thick, and I wish it was a little lighter than the medium flesh tone it's currently offered in. For those issues, I took off a lippy. The texture I can deal with, but they should offer different skin tones so my shadows don't look "off". But my shadow lasts, and lasts, and lasts. I'll never use another primer product...it evens out discoloration, sets my shadow, and lets me go more than 12 hours without worrying. Definite HG product.....

For $23, I expected to not have to worry about my shadows ever creasing, and expected it to stay on forever.
This is the first eyeshadow base I have used, but I have to say I am not pleased with it. I have combination skin and I applied the Aquatique to one eye, and then on the other eye I used nothing. I did my eye make-up as normal and went to work.
When I got home, my eyes looked exactly the same... faded.
I am going to try UDPP and see if I like it better... shame to waste money, but I have tried it out for weeks, and I am just not liking it... and it's SO expensive!

I have very oily skin and my shadow tends to melt and crease after 5-6 hours. I purchased this product and wasn't totally thrilled. The first couple of times you use it, the product is quite dry and challenging to apply smoothly. Once you've used it a bit, the product softens a bit and is easier to work onto the eyelid. However, it doesnt' have the staying power that I was hoping for. I apply my makeup at about 7 am. By about noon, I have to use blotting papers on my eyelids to absorb excess oil. By 4, my eyeshadow is completely creased. By 7 that night, my eyeliner is melting into my eyes and my shadow is a muddy mess. I expected more from a waterproof eyeshadow base.
I've given up on this product and my first run at Urban Decay Primer Potion starts tomorrow.
This product is well suited to someone with normal skin. In my opinion, it won't last well on anyone with excessively oily skin. Save your money. At about $24, this isn't cheap.

Bought this because the MA at the Lancome counter suggested it. I'm glad I did buy it. It does make my shadows look a lot more concentrated. It also helps my shadows stay on longer without any creasing. However, it is a bit dry and I do have to apply more of my shadow on sometimes.

I really like this product. My eyelids tend to get very oily during the day and this product keeps my eyeshadow in place with no creasing. It also works well if eye cream is applied to the lids. I have used a couple of other eye primers and this by far is the best!

One word - DRY. Thank goodness this was a GWP and I didn't actually invest money into this product. It is cakey and makes my eyelids look crepey. GROSS. I appreciate that it is waterproof, but that's useless if the finish is horrible. Not the ideal base texture for eyeshadow. After application, I usually have to spend a couple seconds blending it out with my finger. I would rather spend my money on UDPP or more paint pots.

So crappy and dry. I wouldn't use it if i didn't run out of my UD Primer Potion. It doesn't prolong my eyeshadow wear much noticeably. My eyeshadow still creases at the end of the day. That never happens with UDPP. It's a pain to spread this on my eyelids. I have to press hard and i know it's not good for skin around my eyes... i can get wrinkles if i keep using this. Well I'll probably use it up but only cus i don't want it go to wasted. But i will never ever buy it again. It's not effective.
