I am a huge lover of Wet N Wild Shadows. The dominate my collection and are amazing quality for the value. I usually give these a 5 or a 4. Sadly this trio comes in at a 3. While I would buy it again, the purple in the middle is a total dud. The greens are lovely, soft, rich and pigmented.
PROS:
- Cheap - I bought these at a 40% off sale and paid around $2
- The two greens are super pretty and pigmented
- The lighter mint is especially pretty and lovely for spring
- I love green and purple -- purple really makes green workable for everyone
CONS
- Packaging - it's flimsy so be careful but hey - it's so cheap - rather $$$ go to product than package
- the purple - it's so lame - I mean it gives a light crease but you have to work it - the rest of the shadows are no work and so rich - this is dry, light and SUCH a disappointment
Overall, I would buy again. Though you have to work the purple, I love the looks you can create.
My fave:
- browbone on lid
- crease in crease
- reserve your cabana on browbone
- maybelline master drama in purple color pencil
- Loreal voluminous original
- rimmel bronzed
- nyx angle blush
- reserve your cabana highlight
- Revlon lip butter in crime brûlée
So cute!

One of my favorites of the color trios I own. I was afraid the greens might overshadow my eye color but they enhanced it instead. I love the combination of greens with the plummy purple. Apply like a dream, wear great, no creasing in my experience. I plan to get all of the color trios with backups of my favorites. For the price, they are absolutely sensational and they are on par with many pricier brands.

Wet n Wild has fabulous eyeshadow trios, and this one is no exception! It is great for making that "subtle color" look.
COLOR DESCRIPTION: The three colors in this palette are: a light green with the tiniest bit of shimmer; a plummy purple with a satin finish, and a pretty mossy/cool green with shimmer. I think these colors tend to look better on people with green, brown, or hazel eyes (maybe not so much blue or gray), but I think you could make this work no matter your eye color. This trio helps my green eyes pop a lot, though, and I love that this combination is unique and affordable. Lovely colors!
FORMULA/CONSISTENCY: Although these are powder eye shadows, I feel they're kind of creamy, soft, and easy to apply and blend.
COLOR PAY-OFF: These are very pigmented and show up on your eyes just as they do in the palette/pan.
STAYING POWER: The shadows stay on all day long, and I haven't even noticed significant creasing even without a base underneath.
PACKAGING: The packaging is simple, but great!
PRICE/AVAILABILITY: I've seen these trios at WalMart, Walgreen's, and Smith's Marketplace for fairly cheap, and I got mine from Smith's Marketplace. I can't remember exactly what I paid for it, but I want to say it was about $2.39, which is pretty good.

The trio reminds me a lot of a similar one made by Almay for green eyes, with the purple and green combo, although this one isn't marketed just for green eyes. These colors are highly pigmented, but as some other reviewers have mentioned, maybe not quite as much as some of the other WnW trios and palettes. I think this does a fairly nice smokey eye with the dark green and purple. The palest green is a bit difficult to wear, as I prefer a more neutral tone. The package instructs that he green goes on the lid and the purple in the crease, but I sometimes reverse the colors and it works just as well. I think its definitely worth the low price and I'd buy again.

Love almost all of these trios that I have, but this one was a slight miss for me. Worth the $3 definitely, but the shades are a little less pigmented than what I've come to expect in the Wet 'n' Wild Color Icon trios. I loooove the eyelid shade - that emerald green shade is very pretty, but takes some pretty good layering over a sticky base (like Revlon Creme Illuminance!) to get it to show pretty good. I also love the purple too - it's more unique on, darker than in the pain - though again, it takes a sticky base and a pretty heavy hand to get it to show nice.
I'd buy it again if I ran out...but I probably wouldn't, even with heavy hand application - these pans are huge and the value is even bigger.

I have several Color Icon Trios and love them all which made me finally decide to buy this one. I'm not a big green eyeshadow fan but I loved the look of the plum color in this trio and it was on sale for approx. $2. All the other WnW shadows I've purchased over the past 18 months or so have been buttery soft, highly pigmented and wonderful to use. The green in this trio are 85% okay but the plum sucks. I have to scrape the applicator across it to get just a little color on it and it applies in patches on my lids. I am so disappointed in this trio. Boo! I hope this doesn't mean the quality of WnW is going down hill as I have fallen back in love with this old school brand. I would not purchase these shades again. I should have returned this but for $2 I'll keep it around to use the greens now and then.

I've heard great things about WnW palettes so I had to try one
Price: $5.34 CAD
Pkg: clear snap lid
Colours:(all pearlescent)
Browbone- light minty green
Crease- plummy violet
Eyelid- forest green
Pigmentation: medium to full
Texture: creamy
All three shades are extremely blendable and perfect for a green smokey eye w/a punch of purple. Such a great colour combo for the spring too :)

WOW! the WetnWild Coloricon Trios have been a true gift from the makeup gods for frugal money savvy girls like myself. Thank you wnw for giving us amazing shadows to use!
PRICE/AVAILABILITY-
The WetnWild Coloricon Trios will cost you only $2.99 yeah under $3. it may vary slightly depending on your area and where you purchase it- you can find these in drugstores like Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid, etc as well as Walmart & Target.
SHADE/FORMULA-
Cool as a Cucumber is one of my more darker toned trios from the older set but has some gorgeous greens & a purple shadow. They are all beautiful & i dont own many shadows like these. At first i thought id hardly use this one but i was wrong. This trio is great to add some drama or a pop of color to your look. They are labeled so ill go from the labels-
Brow Bone- this is such a pretty pastel light green. whats so nice about it is that is has a more matte finish. its just really pretty for all over the lid- it has almost a flash of yellow for its undertone
Crease- this color is one of my favorite purples i own. it looks like a deep eggplant purple. it does show up a tad lighter on the skin but its so unique in that its a metallic sheen to it, almost duochromed. a unique color from the drugstore. this color looks great paired w/ these greens or any brown, gray, well any color. great for adding depth to crease or outer v. Can also use wet for a nice liner. i love this shadow, wish they sold it own its own
Eyelid- this is also a gorgeous color. its a nice dark hunter forest green. has a sheen to it when on the eye. its so pretty on the eye. Its one of those shadows that can be sheered out for a light green or in certain lights look darker. great for adding depth as well in the crease or outer v or can be used on the lid.
all three shadows are gorgeous. but with this trio, i myself couldnt pull of the look using these in the suggested areas. I just rather have more of a skintone color for the browbone, not a green. but using this for looks- amazing. i havent found many colors like this that are actually pigmented & show up like these. i have dark brown eyes & this colors make them stand out! all are very well pigmented, go on super smooth. almost feel like butter, apply & blend well. i even use cheaper brushes & they work. pigmentation is the best from the drugstore, i was def impressed. theyve made me want more and more! of the trios i own, this is one of the trios i reach for when i want some color & depth since two of these shadows are darker. I love the colors in this one. so pretty!
PACKAGING- this is a rectangular compact that is glossy black backing with labeling and how tos on where and how to place these 3 shadows on the eye area. great for beginners to learn placement. there is a clear see thru hard plastic snap shut lid. the shade is on the sticker and back. this is def sturdy and compact. great for travel and and on the go. slips in to pockets even. does come with two applicators, a sponge tip applicator that is actually pretty good as well as this bristled brush that has a weird angle to it. its weird but you dont have to use them but ive seen a video where it did work for blending so to each their own.
overall, Cool as a Cucumber is another great trio from WNW. These one is less talked about in the makeup world, i dont understand though since these colors have to be dupes for more HE brands. i love these trios and Cool as A Cucumber does have some amazing shadows! i love it and im sure most people will too since we all need some color every now & then! give em a try esp if you love great shadows! they are affordable, amazing quality and esp since they are from a cruelty free company, i love you wetnwild! i will add some pictures and swatches and an update if anything changes!

This is an okay product.
The colors involve a light green, a purple, and a dark forest green. It comes with two little eyeshadow applicators- a brush and your typical sponge.
I was a bit disappointed in this product. The purple looks like it would be a nice, deep, almost 'royal' purple, but looks almost black when applied. The same disappointment goes for the green- it looked like a deep emerald, but turns out to be a bit darker. The lightest green is more pigmented than I though, so I don't think it's good for an everyday highlight. It does look pretty on the lid, though. Also, all the colors look shimmery when applied.
Together, I must admit, they do look kind of pretty. However, the way it says to apply it (see picture) might be too dramatic for many.

This was my very first WNW palette that I bought and I am in love with it as well. I find using the 3 colors together you can create a great look. However, I do find that the brow bone color (light green) is not as pigmented as the crease and eyelid colors (cranberry purple and forest green). Great palette in my books!

This trio has a deep green that I use as an eyeliner. The purple and light green I'm still experimenting with colors from other pallets. I rarely use three color palletes as recommended. For the price these are nicely pigmented colors.

Two out of the three shades in this palette are really good. The highlight shade (a very pale green) is okay. The deep burgundy/cranberry shade actually shows up more deep purple on me (MAC NW20). The dark forest green is pretty. The highlight shade isn't as shimmery as the other two. Overall, these shades are fairly cool and would work well on those with cooler skintones. I would rebuy as this is a good trio. Wet n' Wild makes some really good eyeshadows at a wonderful price.
