Also for those who say it dries out to fast stick the tip under water, put the cap back on then let it sit cap side up for an hour then let it sit cap side down over night. Run it across a tissue or the back of your hand a couple times poor to use and viola perfect again!

Love this! It is great for the eyeliner-impaired:) I could never use anything except soft, smudgy crayon liners because that was the look i was going to get no matter how I tried -- smudgy. This is like using a felt pen, so you use the same skills and can get the finest lines -- all the way into the corner if you want. It is buildable so a heavier line is doable but that isn't the look I go for, so can't say if it is the best for that. Little black dress is a good color and I'll probably go back and try the others, something almost unimaginable with previous liners. Just thought -- wow -- I may actually learn how to do cat-eyes using this! Happy, happy. One other thing -- you can actually get this in the lashline without clumps or smudges. Amazing. Yet, it doesn't have that felt pen flat look but instead looks like... wait for it... eyeliner!

This liner is ok I didn't find anything amazing about it. I do like the pen liners they are so much easier to apply and less messy. I find this one tends to go on thick even if I'm using a light hand as well doesn't dry very fast so that gets a little annoying at times. But my biggest irritation with this particular liner and this may sound silly cause who doesn't want this but the stuff is impossible to get off. Non of my eye makeup removers will remove it and I end up scrubbing my face a few times at night. While this product is not a bad product ill just be sticking to the liquid liner pen from Essence it's half the price and I love it so much

I have this in Storm (purple). I think the thing I like most about this is what some others hated. This is kind of like a water color marker. It is easy to control, and the color is buildable. I personally find my PF marker a bit harsh looking, this little pen gives a more subtle line. It lasted all day for me, but I didn't have to dig it off. All in all I was pleased with it. So much so that I also bought the navy and teal colors. A good way to incorporate a pop of color without it being too in your face.

This eyeliner is amazing. Granted I have only used Little Black Dress (Black) it has been awesome. The color is opaque and I get amazingly thin lines when I need to. I bought this for $5 at Walmart and couldn't be happier. It's a great alternative to gel liner when I'm in a rush.

I don't think this liner dries up that fast. I've had mine for about 3 months and it's still going pretty strong. The tip has become slightly soft but I still get decent precision. I would say that for $5 it's not a big deal! Will definitely be repurchasing!

I bought this in brown---"Oh fudge"

This eyeliner is horrible. The formula is watery. I don't know if I was unlucky and got a bad tube, it just doesn't work. The color is still lack after going over the line many times. Because of that, drawing a very think line is nearly impossible.

This liquid eyeliner pen was pretty good. The color was dark and the point of it was precise. The only issues I have with this is that it dried up pretty fast.

Wow, this product is really great for precise, fine lines! I learned a lot about making cat-eye or winged looks using this eyeliner. I have it in black, it is pretty dark and opaque. Mine hasn't dried out in the 4+ months that I've had it (I only wear it about 1-2x per week). Doesn't irrtate my sensitive eyes. I don't wear it in the waterline, so no comment on that, but it is awesome for tightlining. Hard Candy makeup is one of the very few reasons I ever go to Walmart!

Ok, so I've had this eyeliner for two weeks now, and my thoughts on it have changed a lot...
At first, so perfect. Really dark black, great for the cat eyes I sport daily.
But now, it's started to dry out really fast, and I have to stop using it for a bit to let the ink run into the tip again, which is a pain on early mornings.
The price is great, and so is packaging, but the drying is a really pain.

This is ok liner. Doesnt smudge but its nothing special. Its actually a cheaper version of physician's formula eyeliner pen + serum and I like the PF version better, its just higher quality and the felt tip brush is softer and easier to work with. I found that the hard candy version's consistency was too wet and so you have to go over the line you made a few times to get it solid and dark enough.

I absolutely love this liner! The tip is nice and fine, and quite soft as well (at least compared to my Physician's Formula felt tip marker, which is so hard that it hurts my lids). The colour is nice and deep--I bought this in Anchor, which is a dark grey colour, but it seriously looks just a black as my other liners, which may be a bad thing I suppose--and I get a lot of control with it. The liner doesn't smudge on my oily lids, but it does come off easily with water. It never claims to be waterproof though, so I have no issues with that. Love, love, love it, and I'll definitely be repurchasing.

I got this in the color little black dress which is the black and it's great. The applicator is stiff so it took me a little bit for it to become softer and for me to get the hang of it. It does do relatively fine lines. It's a good product and stays on well the color also shows up well.

I love this eyeliner! Even though I made a little "oopsie" at the drugstore buying the purple color instead of the blue I meant to by, I decided to try it out anyways. It is absolutely gorgeous! I've read a few of the reviews saying it comes off easy when wet, but I experienced the exact opposite. When trying to take this off with my makeup removing cloths, I had to really really rub to get it off! The felt tip makes it so easy to precisely apply. I'm going soon to buy every color they have!

It's been a looong time since I've paid less than $20 for a decent eyeliner. This is low-end gold! Likely the best 5 dollars I've spent in the last year! I've bought Little Black Dress three times now. It's an awesome deep black... no dull grey, no weird sparkles. The pen makes it super easy to create a perfect winged look or tightline close to the lashes.

The lasting power is great for the right occasion... It will stay perfect for a long day plus long night out, without any fading, smearing or dark circles. It just doesn't go the distance enough to be called waterproof, sweat-proof, or sleep-proof. Also, after about a month of everyday use, the felt tip has likely frayed out of conrol. Even the highest-end brands of eyeliner pen will start picking up eye makeup on their tips at that point, and not work so well. I especially appreciate that this one is only $5 to replace.

These days, I use the Hard Candy for everyday looks, and save my more expensive e/l pens for special occasions. I've actually saved enough with this liner, that I can indulge in other products without going over budget! I love how drugstore products are getting better!!!

I'm shocked this is getting such bad reviews! Well I guess everyone is different.

I bought this wanting to experiment with felt tip liners, I wanted something cheap so I didn't really care if it was that great. But I'm so happy I chose this one! Bought the shade Little Black Dress and it is a perfect opaque black color. It goes on easily, dries quickly and I haven't had any smudging, smearing, fading and I've been wearing it for 12 hours now.

I did notice though (from testing on my arm yesterday) that it is extremely not waterproof... so that could be dangerous if you get caught in rain or a crying fit. They may have a waterproof variety, I didn't see one at my store.

But all in all, I made an awesome lucky pick and I'm really happy with this product!

I really don't understand the great disapproval for this product. I picked this up while looking for a liquid eyeliner (I typically use gel or pencil) and found this in purple (Storm). So of course, on a whim, I bought it (I always though Hard Candy was an adorable brand anyway). This liquid liner has some SERIOUS staying power. Until it gets wet...but it's definitely smudge resistant and it stayed on my eyelid all day (had to reapply on my bottom though). The purple color is decently dark and the application was very controlled (I loved it for this). I had to shake the pen a couple times (I was a little surprised to notice that during it's first use the tip of the pen would dry out), but that's really not too big of an issue in my opinion.
But all in all, I probably this product is NOT terrible. It's decent and I like it and I will continue to finish my Storm pen :)

I was looking for Walk The Line eyeliner, I needed a new liquid liner but the Walmart I was in was all out. I picked up this. Bad idea. The black is very gray, it's not at all how solid black I would like it. It doesn't really have a great application either. It gets worse the longer you draw the line. :/ I love Hard Candy products so I was a little depressed that this sucks so much. Well, I'll go buy Walk The Line next time I see it.

I just bought this in the purple color and I am really disappointed. First of all, I got some of the product on my fingertip by accident and it would NOT come off. Even after I put some make up remover to wash it off, it was still there faintly. I put some on my lash line and unfortunately this product does not have lasting power as it did on my finger tip. After a few hours, it was almost completely gone. Hard candy usually has pretty good products but this is definitely not a winner.
