Very cool product. At first I was worried about using eyeshadow that was dark in fear it would stain the brush and spoil it for the next times when I use different colours but that didn't happen. The eyeliner stays on and it isn't patchy as some suggest and the eyeshadows that come with it are very pigmented and vibrant.

I didn't find this very pigmented, when used with a dark eye shadow. It was watery and had to reapply many times. I think using liquid eyeliner is much better.

I love this product. It truly sets shadow into a great liner. Not only that, but with gel liners, it sets them and gets more milage. Worried about smudgy liner from a kohl liner? Just dab a little on and it keeps the smoked out look all day. I love the versatility of it. There are similar formulas from other lines. I find it works just as well as Trish and Makeup Forever, without the crazy price. Love it!

this thing is a joke! an expensive one at that! I got it without the eyeshadows which is probably a good thing, it only works on dark matted colours. the shimmer ones look weird and if my pigments has a hint of metalic finish then that's all that shows as an eyeliner.

I love the applicator, it's a persion one so getting that fine thin line is easy however for $20 this thing is shame, you get a few drops of product that is of limited use, the bottle top is easy to break too so I have to be extra gentle with it.

I'm not re-purchasing, even the $2 one from elf did a better job then this!

I bought this after a store didn't have eye shadow transformer from Paula Dorf which I have used before. This worked just as good and I felt didn't soak the whole area of my eye shadow the way the dropper did with transformer.

It was way easier to apply than my brush I normally used and I could get a very fine line. Believe me I am no pro at apply makeup. It stayed all day and worked well with my bobbie brown eye shadow. I haven't used it on other brands but it has worked well for me.

Only thing is that where the liner/lid screws on, a piece broke off. I am not so gentle to ensure it is closed tight enough so with that be careful. Other than that I am very happy with my purchase and even though it did break, the liquid has stayed in.

All I can say is that this product is sooo fun! I love that I can pick different eyeliners based on my feelings that day. Perfect.

I just received this in a swap and I really like it. I used it with MAC's Carbon and the payoff was amazing. However, it looked just like my L'Oreal liner so I don't think I'll purchase this myself.

Picked this up at Ulta for $17.50. This is the first time I've purchased a Too Faced product. I have the UD BOS II and love it. There are shadows in there I'd love to use as liners, so when I ran into another customer at ULTA, I heard her talking about this product and purchased it.
At first it was okay, but the applicator is a PITA and the amount you get in the bottle is very little. I think I'll use artificial tears (Genteal) instead - it seems to work almost as well. I also would like to try the much-lauded LM cake liner. So...this will be returned.

The best thing about this is it will not budge, smudge or run and you can choose exactly the eyeshadow shade you want to turn into an eyeliner. That said, I mainly use it as a boring brown or black... it's a clever idea and works loads better than many liquid eyeliners I've tried. The tip does stain after a few uses, so if you want to turn a wide range of eyeshadows into eyeliner, then I guess I'd buy one for the browns and blacks and another for brighter colours.

The tip is nice and firm, so it's easy to draw with. The bottle is tiny, but seems to lasts ages - I know that's not a technical term (!), I buy a new one every 3 months or so.

I've bought it with and without the palette of eyeshadows it's sometimes sold with. My view is forget the eyeshadow palette, you'll only end up using the shades you like that are already in your makeup bag, and the light shades in the palette don't show up too well. I use mine with No 7 eyeshadows and Urban Decay eyeshadows, and they come out nice and strong.

I bought this with the eyeshadow set because a friend had it and I had liked it. I don't use it every day (didn't use it for the first month I had it) But when I do use it, I love it! I haven't tried all of the colors, because some of them are just weird and would not look good as a liner.. But i LOVE the bright blue shadow as a liner.. it really flatters me.
Like other reviews the downside to this product is the applicator gets stained really easily and so does the liquid in the bottle (mine is now this weird shade of blue) and it sometimes affects the liner. Other than that it's pretty good! the shadows are good quality and a wide range of colors I wouldn't have had usually.

This product is stupid in my opinion, it works worse than using water... don't buy it.

FIrst of all i hate how it doesnt CLOSE. what's up with packaging like this!?
second, the eyeliner thing doesnt really work. i mean it does, but it's just a hassle, plus, some shades look weird as eyeliner.

now, the shades themselves are great, very pigmented and blendable (some more than others of course)
some of the best shades: ooh & aah, the blue shade (no name), full frontal, steel magnolias, and vixen

I really wanted to love this because the shadows are so pretty, but they have no staying power as a liner or eye shadow, and believe me, I've tried! This claims to turn any of the shadows into a liquid eye liner, but that's just a flat-out lie. Great concept but horrible product. I would not buy again and would caution anyone to not get seduced by the whimsical packaging!

Love this product. It can turn any of your shadows into eyeliners, therefore saving you money. I love the applicator. The precision give you the control to choose a super thin line or thick line. I don't like to line my bottom lashes usually but with this I can just run it literally through the lash line to give it that hint of color. You have to make sure you wipe it off well when done. And it can make shadows chunky but I just wipe the chunk or chunks off on a tissue. It's also worth noting that it reacts differently with different shadows. When I use it with Lancome's shadows it is a lot less chunky and comes out much smoother. If I use it with NYX shadow it creates more clumps. It's a great play tool.

I bought this as part of a set that included eye shadows to use with it and while I think it is a good idea....the color transferred to the brush and will not come off. Also, I cannot seem to make a line show up on my eyes at all unless I use really really dark shadows. My last gripe with this is that it made the shadow come onto the brush in clumps. i would def. not purchase again.

What a great idea for a product! I'm sure you could make it at home with some easy ingredients rather than spending near $20 for it, but nevertheless! You just dip this "eye shadow transformer" into any eyeshadow or pigment and, voila! You have a brand new eyeliner shade.

This product works very well for me, however, I'll add that I only use it for dark colors so I'm not too fussed about any color transfering for next use. Basically, I store it standing up, do my eye as normal, then dip the tip into the eyeshadow and make short, fast strokes until I get the line I want. It takes a few strokes, but it saves me from having to add more liquid liners to a makeup collection that's already out of control. I thought it was a bit overpriced, BUT it is handy and perfect for travel. The finish is smudge and waterproof so have plently of cleanser ready when it's time to take it off.

This works great with my Bareminerals shadow liners. I used to use their Bareminerals Weather Everything liner sealer, but it was difficult to get out of my brushes and I hated cleaning the mixing trays. I have started using this product with the liners and it has saved me alot of time mixing and cleaning the brush. I just wipe off the end of the applicator and stick it back in the bottle. However, I do agree that it doesn't create enough pigment with a regular pressed eyeshadow. I wouldn't like it if I hadn't found how great it works with my shadow liners.

To be honest I thought this was a great idea - having as many eyeliners to match your eye shadows as possible so I was really looking forward to trying it out. Well, it's been a month since I bought it and I've pretty much tried different ways of applying the liquid onto eye shadows (directly on eyes or touch my pressed eye shadows with the tip and then apply on my eyes) and I'll say either way the results have been kind of mild - I can't say I don't see the lines at all; but certainly they look a little different from actual eye-liners. I will continue to use it since I paid for it already but I won't buy it again.

I tried this product a while ago because my friend had it, that time I thought it was perfect: easy to apply, the liner turns out well etc. However, after I purchased this product for myself, it failed at everything I wish it to do. I normally use NYX pigments and Shu Uemura single eye shadows. For my Shu shadows, the liner just does not turn out bright enough, and for the NYX pigments the line is always messy.
I brought this product mainly hoping to use Loose Glitter into very dramatic liners. Well it definitely works better than not having this solution, but you'll have to use a steady hand and draw that line over and over again for the glitter to be concentrated enough. I'll give it the credit that the glitter liner does stay on for long enough and is waterproof. But I believe there are better products out there that I have yet to find.
