I frequently suffer from eczema and used steroid creams for years as it was the only thing that would relieve it. Even then I could see my overall skin condition worsening! Then I discovered MoogGoo. This product is pretty amazing. Don't expect miracles as soon as you apply it though! It is made from natural ingredients and they advertise it as a alternative to steroid based treatments. This does not work as quickly as steroid creams, however I would rather wait an extra day or two for my skin to heal then get instant results and have my skin get really dry, thin and weak and have that nasty stuff sink into my skin. If you apply it in the very early stages of developing eczema, it disappears pretty quickly. This product is almost like my security blanket, I carry it around with me and as soon as I see any signs of eczema developing, I apply it. It may sound silly, but it is comforting to know I have it on me. Being natural I don't have to worry about the amount I apply either and can constantly apply it without any worries of it deteriorating my skin.

**Edit *** Found something I love even better. Check out my review for Derma E's Psorzema Cream.
While this is a good product, it didn't work enough to get me off the steroids like I hoped.

I suffer from SD around my eyebrows, eyelids and forehead. I tried what seems like every different cream, oil or serum I can find to help. The ONLY thing that relieves my symptoms is cortisone. I try to use cortisone as sparingly as I can around my eyes but if I don't use it at all, my lids flare up so red that I have actually had someone ask me before if I forgot to put my red eyeshadow on my right eye. (like I would wear red shadow! One lid has the sd more than the other)
I tried going cold-turkey on the cortisone when I got this. I do find it very soothing, knocks out the nagging itching, doesn't seep into my eyes and blur my contacts - all which is great but it didn't replace the cortisone. I do however think that, with time and going at a slow pace, that I will be able to ween myself off of being cortisone dependant with the help of this balm. So far, it's the best thing I have found that actually helps.
Now, this is called a "balm" but it is more of a cream to me. When I think of a balm, I think waxy or oily based. This is not. It comes in a convenient tube and is white and cream like. I have the 120g size. This will last a good long time. I use this morning and night, smooth a little on and let it sink in. I find it soothes my skin and keeps irritation at bay. I get hydration without an oily residue left behind.
This is only sold in Australia but MooGoo does ship to the US. I have also tried their MSM cream and love it as well.
