This is a very pigmented blush, matte finish peachy-pink, that looks great on lighter skin tones. If this were less pigmented then I actually would like it a lot better, but this just takes so much time to carefully apply that it adds an extra 5 mins to my morning. If I apply this as I would my regular blush, this makes me look clown-like. I much prefer a sheer blush that I can sweep on with one brush stroke.

I would not buy this but that is just my preference for less pigmentation – there is nothing actually wrong with this blush, and it is a gorgeous color.

This shade appears to be a gorgeous pink shade of blush for fair-skinned people. I love the texture of TheBalm's blushes- not too powdery and not too creamy. My only complaint is that carmine is all over the ingredients lists on TheBalm's products, making them non-vegetarian friendly.

This is a fantastic blush! I got this on HauteLook when theBalm was on there. It is the perfect every day blush. I have 60+ blushes (I know - judge me) and when I went off to college, I obviously couldn't bring them all. This was the one I brought. It goes with every single makeup look and it just looks fresh. If you use it with a light hand, it gives you that natural glow. The blush is also buildable though so you can use it for a night out.

It's a matte pink that gives off a satin finish (?) - does that make any sense?

Anyway, try it out! It doesn't look like much in the pan but it's a great staple in my collection.

theBalm Frat Boy is one of my favourite blushes in my massive blush collection--yes, I am a hoarder. First of all, this product is a STEAL even with the mid-end price tag since you get 0.3 ounces of product; most blushes only contain 0.15 ounces and have a high-end sticker price. I also scored this on HauteLook so I pretty much paid only half the retail price with some additional duty and shipping charges, which weren't that much and probably amounted to the price of one regular theBalm blush.

Frat Boy is super flattering on most skintones in my opinion. I would agree with others that it is quite similar to NARS Orgasm, except a bit deeper, less shimmer and more pigment. I would describe Frat Boy as a medium strawberry pink that's a bit on the warm side. Since it has really high pigment, I can imagine this blush being WOC-friendly. I am approximately NC20 right now and this blush gives me the fresh-from-the-cold look, like the colour of naturally pinched cheeks. It really brightens up my whole face. Since I'm not very dark I have to be a bit careful with application because of the high pigmentation, so I use my Chikuhodo Z-8 squirrel hair blush brush and slowly build the intensity until desired. This is definitely not a blush to use if you want to be quick and out-the-door unless you have a VERY light hand! I unfortunately am not light-handed when it comes to blush application ;D Overall I recommend this blush to everyone, it is gorgeous whether you are doing a full face of makeup or just a simple natural look.

Do not let the price of this fool you. This will last you a very long time because the color goes a long way. I wear frat boy just about everyday and have had it for 2 years. The color is the perfect matte pink leaning to coral for a summery look. The only thing I do not like is that the cardboard gets a little dirty.

This is by far my favourite blush in my entire collection. I have light yellow under-toned skin, and this peachy pink compliments it so well! The quality is excellent, and a little tap of product goes a long way. One of the few blushes I have that will seriously last pretty much a whole day.

I haven't needed to use another blush since I've started using this one. It's a good color for my pale skin and really brightens up my face when I use it alongside the MaryLou-manizer. It can look a little clown-like if you are heavy handed, though, so getting the right application for it can take a little practice.

I got this with a 20 percent discount. Had tried the balm's hot mama which didn't impress me much. Decided to try this again after seeing the glowing reviews of it.

The color turns out peachy pink on my nc25 skin. However I will need to swipe at least 4 times each cheek with my brush for it to show through. The color is matte and not shimmery but it does leave the skin looking like a rose petal.

I sometimes top it off with benefit's dandelion and it looks wonderful. Staying power is good too, I have very oily skin and the color is still there at midday and after blotting.

A wonderful product and am thinking of getting down boy to try next

I love Frat Boy! I wouldn't say this is a coral.. it's a really light pretty pink shade :) It's perfect for my nc15/20 skin tone. It's got lovely pigmentation so use a light hand but built up looks nice too :)
