Love this color - it looks less flashy on my nails than it does in the bottle. It's strange how subtle the color is in person. As other posters mentioned, color is opaque with just one coat, although I usually use two.

This is my first experience with a Lippmann polish. The color is super lovely and this can be applied in 1 coat. Smooth and shimmery. Nice bottle. I think this color could be appropriate in any season or setting. Very happy about this purchase.

THIS REVIEW IS FOR DEBORAH LIPPMANN"S NEW POLISH "GOOD GIRL GONE BAD"
I saw this color on the Debroah Lippmann web site, and I was ready to buy it then and there. It is the most beautiful color I have seen in a long time (aside from long discontinued OPI's "changing of the garnet").
I love the dark red colors. I am always drawn to them, I love DL's "Bitches Brew". I saw this and was so happy.
It is as DL describes it, a merlot with shimmer. It does have lots of glitter but not in a chunky way. The base is that beautiful merlot color, that kind of deep red with just a tad touch of blueish-purpleish, like the wine and the glitter is almost the same color, just a tad lighter, like a hi-lighter for the nails. It sparkles in all lighting, but not like you've put on a pure glitter polish over another color. It blends in beautifully.
Application is as usual, at least 2 coats over a base coat and under a top coat. It stayed put without chipping for about 5 days for me. I am finding that I must apply at least 2 coats of top coat, but that I think is because of the top coat I use. Time for a new better one for my DL polishes! The polish is a fast drying polish, YAY for me!
I've used this for two parties and both times I had ladies (and a few guys) grab my hands and say how beautiful my nail color is. Ya know the old "who makes this?" and "where can I get it?". DL says that this is a holiday color, I think this is a wonderful color for fall and winter, just about anytime.
The brush is a bit small, but then all of DL brushes are small. I will adapt and adjust to that small issue. This polish needs two coats to look filled in, but that for me is true with every polish I use.
I have said before that a good polish is like jewels for the nails. I like my me time to do my nails my way and at my speed always with great results and compliments. I always ask if a salon carries DL, If they do I might consider allowing them to adorn my nails with jewels, most times they don't and they don't know DL. If the salon does not know DL I leave and I don't look back. DL's colors are vibrant and fresh and not named after puppet characters and pirates. Songs are a different story, to me anyway.
I say for anyone who is like me and loves the deep dark red and red colors, try this new one. It is a keeper for me and I will buy it as long as I can. It is as pricey as DL's normal polishes, but all of DL's polishes are worth it!

Just got this last week from nordstroms. As said before me this is from the fall 2011 line and yes fall-like it is! A rich autumnal golden rust with a deep fine sparkle. I immediately did a mani pedi using lippman base coat and 2 coats of brick house then one coat seche vite. The wear has been great going on 4 th day. I wash my hands constantly and there has been zero chipping! I have fair olive skin and short nails and this color is so pretty and feminine. I usually favor more goth ish colors but now....hmmmm.... This color makes me think of simmering cinnamon. And of burning leaves.
I also bought Billionaire and will post on that later
I think DL polish is worth every cent especially for me as I do my own nails.
Happy Autumn!!

Lippmann Brick House is from her Fall 2011 line. It is a medium shimmery rust, like a darker version of a terracotta pot. It is not excessively warm, suprising in a rust color, and could easily be worn by cool-toned people. I'm about NC25 for reference, and it looks great with my skin tone. Application is a dream. I did a pedicure a week ago using 3 coats that still looks brand new. Used two coats for my nails, which is more than adequate to cover. If you're skilled at application, you could probably get by with one thick coat, but I'm too messy for that. One thin coat followed by a thicker one works fine. Ridge-filling base coat really helped out on my fingers, although I used a regular base coat for the pedi and it was fine. I had to be a little careful to avoid brushstrokes, but it wasn't that hard. Both Seche Vite and Sally Hansen Insta-Dri worked well as topcoats with no shrinkage.

This is not a frost, although it has the look of one in the bottle. More of an intense metallic shimmer. Work friendly :)
