- Domed Shadow Brush: Tapered design smoothly shades and defines eyes

Yay! Real Techniques brushes are now available at Wal-Mart. Out of all the kits, this one is my favourite. You can do your whole face routine with these three brushes. Mine are super soft and don't shed at all. The quality you get is amazing for the price. I recommend these brushes to everyone, especially beginners who wan't quality without the high price tag. Go buy them!!!

I had a total freak out moment when I saw the display at Walmart for the Real Techniques brushes as I've been waiting patiently for quite some time for these to make there way to Canada. These brushes are awesome and totally worth the wait. I've been using this set along with the Eye Starter Set every day since and have washed them a few times too. Super impressed by the high quality, firm yet soft and plush bristles, and the fact these brushes don't shed and wash beautifully.

Multi-Task Brush: Applies powder products with ease and works beautifully with my face powders and blushes

Domed Shadow Brush: Fit perfectly in my crease, but I do have larger eyes that are hooded. Applies and blends out eyeshadows effortlessly.

Essential Foundation Brush: I tried it for foundation application, but it didn't work well for me and my personal application needs. I have found other uses for this brush including; using it to apply eyeshadow all over my lid like I would with my MAC 227, use it to clean up the outer edges of my eyeshadow looks when I get a little to carried away with application/blending, and apply powder precisely to areas of my face such as under the eyes or around my nose or under my lips.

Love these brushes and I have repurchased this set twice to give as birthday gifts to my friends. Highly recommend this high quality, but affordable brush set.

Yahooooo! Can I join the hallelujah choir of Canadians who are pumped that this is available in Wal-Mart now? I was totally unsurprised that these were soft as hell, fluffy, and wonderful at applying power and cream products, since I've heard so many awesome things about these brushes. I particularly love the crease brush for applying my Bobbi Brown corrector under my eyes.

Best brushes out there! So affordable! Never sheds! So soft! Don't waste your money on expensive brushes, these are perfect! The only con?? I wish there were more! I want a concealer brush, a smudging brush, an angled blush brush!

Pros:
- soft
- affordable
- multi tasking
- great with cream / powder product
- did not irritate skin
- synthetic
- support fellow YouTube gurus
- no bleeding
- no shedding

Cons:
- difficult to find in Canada

I got this in the states and they are awesome, Love the multi tasking brush where I've used it for cream/powder blush, setting powder and bronzer. Love the feel of these brushes against my face. I don't usually use traditional foundation brushes so I have nothing to say about it. The eye brush it comes with can be used for cream eyeshadow base / concealer under the eyes and I have used for both purposes and it works great!!

Like the previous reviewer, I was also doing a happy dance when I saw these available in Canada at Wal-Mart! And like her, of the 3 brushes, the foundation brush is the one I use the least but that's because I have three other really good Real Techniques foundation brushes - the Expert Face Brush, the flat foundation brush and the Stippling Brush - as well as 2 or 3 other foundation brushes that I love. I do like this brush, though - it is nice for blending out/blending in concealer from under my eyes to alongside my nose (a Kandee Johnson technique for brightening and lifting the face). In actual fact, I bought this set simply to get the eye shadow brush. How I wish this brush were available on its own - I'd buy several of them! I really like the Multi-Task brush for blush an for setting powder (loose or pressed - it's great with my new Nars pressed setting powder). With every purchase, I am once again amazed by how good these brushes are and when you take into account how inexpensive they are, it becomes even more amazing. My only complaint remains the widened shape of the handles. I don't know anyone who sets their brushes singly on a dressing table or in a cabinet. Most of us keep them in a container of some sort and these flared/wide ends just means they take up way too much room. Other than that, these brushes are amazing and while I also don't stand them up in the accompanying case, it is nice to use to keep them clean while travelling.

Just so happy that these brushes are now available in Canada (I almost said "readily available" but when I was at Walmart, I got the very last Travel Essentials set and the only other thing left was 2 or 3 packages of the "Starter Set" (all eye brushes and not ones I want or need). Can't wait for them to restock so I can get the Core Collection (I really want the buffing brush!)

First of all, I live in Toronto, and I am ECSTATIC that Wal-mart is now selling Real Techniques products. Since they've been available here, they've been selling like hot cakes. I was lucky enough to get my hands on this set. I'm still wal-mart hopping to find the essential kit with the orange ended brushes.
- I love all 3 brushes, but I will say that I use the foundation brush the least. I've only used it once because I forgot my everyday foundation brush omw to work. It is a great foundation brush though. My face looked even. But overall, not my HG brush.
- I use the domed shadow brush as a crease brush and also to blend out my under eye concealer. works really well. Nice and slightly dense but still soft
- the multi-use face brush I use for bronzer/blush. It applies whatever product i dip into evenly onto my cheeks.
- Bought this for $17.99 and I can't get over the affordable prices of these brush sets

Well, first things first. I don't like the case it comes in. I don't understand why anyone would use it, but regardless, the price on these sets is just amazing.

The quality of the brushes are great. I own this set, the face set, and then the separate stippling brush and expert face brush. I love them all. They apply my foundation flawlessly, and gives me that airbrushed look.

Not much to complain about :)

I hate to bring down the ratings, but this brush kit is just so-so for me. The quality is very good, however, I just don't have as much uses for the brushes as I thought I would. The dome shaped eyeshadow brush is very soft, so it doesn't pick up product very well. It is better used for blending eyeshadow. The foundation brush is fairly small for my liking, so I don't really use it at all. The big complexion brush is the one I use the most. it is good for blush and even liquid foundation. i really like the travel pouch that comes with it, sleek, takes up little space, and very useful. I think i should've maybe just purchased an individual big complexion brush, instead of paying for the whole set. The price is very cheap, and you do get a good deal. However, the brushes are just not as versatile as I hoped. I do think they look very pretty and the quality of the hairs are good, and the handles are nice and long.

Kudos to Samantha Chapman- she could be charging a LOT more for these brushes, but chose to make excellent quality brushes that are very affordable. I had originally bought the Lancome Holiday 2012 brush set, (67.50) but was disappointed in them and returned it. I bought this set at Ulta to try it out and see what all the fuss was about. Now I see what all the fuss is about! These are great quality, supersoft and lay down color and foundation very well. I now have the eyeshadow brush set as well as the expert face brush and the setting brush in addition to this travel essentials set- 10 brushes in all for considerably less than what I paid for the mediocre Lancome set.

These were my first RT brushes (now i have 2 stippling ones and one blush brush too).
I was positively surprised by the quality!

1. Domed shadow brush - i dont use it for eyeshadows - it doesnt pick up the product well, i still stick to my MAC 217; but its is perfect for undereye concealer.

2. Multitask brush - I use it for blush/bronzer and couldnt be happier about that. I didnt like it for powder though.

3. Flat foundation brush - i dont use it at all so far, its just a question of personal preference, but i dont like "painting" on my foundation, i like to stipple - its faster and much more effective. I still keep this brush in my collection though thinking i might need it one day for covering larger areas with concealer for example.

The star of this collection is definitely the shadow brush. It's the perfect blending brush! I also love it to put e/s underneath my eyebrows. It's perfect. The all-over face brush is good for powders and the foundation brush I haven't gotten much use of but it's good for concealer as well. These are such great quality for such a bargain price!

I absolutely love the Domed Shadow Brush, which I wish I could buy separately as I'd like to have several of these for blending and backups. Still, at $18 for the whole set, I might just buy a couple sets to get more of the Domed Shadow brushes. Both of the other brushes in this set are great, but I don't find them very useful. I don't use powder all over my face and I prefer the (separately available) blush brush for blush and bronzer, so the multi-task brush doesn't get used much. Likewise, I prefer to apply my foundation with the separately available angled foundation brush or the buffing brush, so I only use the foundation brush in this set for blending concealer when/if the pointed foundation brush (from the core collection) is dirty.

I put off buying something from real techniques for quite a while. I thought not again a youtuber who brings out something now that they are popular.

But after months of hearing nothing but good reviews I thought I’ll give it a shot I’ve got nothing to lose and I’m so happy I did it.

I bought this set for the domed shadow brush and the multi task brush until now I haven’t used the flat foundation brush because I don’t like to apply foundation with those. So I knew from the start I would only use 2 brushes and still it’s much cheaper than MAC and imo they are much better quality.
I paid for the whole set shipping included 31 euro and a MAC 134 is here 57 euro. So I find that really a good deal.

I have struggled to find a powder brush that doesn’t shed and the multi task brush is a dream, soooo soft and I haven’t seen one single hair falling out. It’s very easy to clean and until now it has maintained its shape well.
I have tried using it for bronzer but it’s too big in my opinion and gives me to much hassle, the same goes for blush, I like smaller brushes that give me more control but that is personal preference. I have also tried it with liquid foundation (because I heard that from gossmakeupartist on youtube) but that didn’t work that great.
It’s an ideal powder and mineral foundation brush the best one I tried this far.

The domed shadow brush I really wanted for concealer and I couldn’t be happier, it’s also incredibly soft so you don’t tug under your eyes, blends everything nicely and just makes the whole concealing chore enjoyable. I also use it to blend spot concealer, works very well with that too, not so great thou for around the nose.

I will definitely try some other brushes too, it’s a shame that some brushes are only available in sets, then you get doubles of brushes you maybe never use.

The case the brushes come in is a nice plus and certainly that you have space to add extra brushes.

I love these brushes! I was surprised to find them at my local ULTA and wanted to give them a go. This is a nice beginning set; one is able to get a good feel for the brushes without spending a fortune. Great for beginners or those just looking for an affordable set of brushes.

My search for perfect brushes finally! I use this set every day! I use Essential Foundation Brush for my foundation, Multi Task Brush for powder and Domed Shadow Brush for placing my eyeshadow on my whole lid. I often wash them daily and they never shed. They are very easy to rinse, and dry very quickly! Just perfect! You can get it on www.iherb.com for 17.99$ and use code POK969 to get 5$ off! They ship internationally!

I am such a big fan of pixiwoo so I wanted to buy her brushes! The one brush I wanted the most was the multitask brush. All the brushes are synthetic and soooo soft!! I have no problems with any of the brushes shedding after washing them.

Multi-task brush (pink) - My fave brush out of the whole set. I use this to set my foundation if I want to powder lightly. Plus I use this brush to apply bronzer!

Domed shadow brush (purple) - I use this either blend out my under eye concealer or to apply concealer to my blemishes/problem areas.

Foundation brush (yellow) - I haven't touched this brush yet. I always aPply my liquid foundations with elf's studio powder brush but I will try and make use of this.

Overall, I love these brushes. Can't wait to check out the rest.

Update: I use the foundation brush to apply my cream highlighter before my foundation.
