This is a very expensive moisturizer. such a small bottle for RM 176. But, it is WORTH IT! previously i was using clinique 3 step due to my acne prone skin. the doctor ask me to look for non-comedogenic skincare, so i tried clinique 3 step. and yes, clinique did save my acne prone skin. my skin became clear and smooth, but slowly, i realise my skin became drier especially when i smile, i feel the pain as if my skin is cracking. A friend of mine introduce me to L'occitane because all the products are alcohol free and is good for dry and sensitive skin. The sales person in L'occitane recommended angelica range which is also non-comedogenic skin care. All i can say is after one time use, my skin did became better. Even my hubby also notice it the first thing he woke up the next morning. He compliments my skin is brighten up and hydrated. I no longer feel my skin is dry and itchy. I really love this moisturizer. I will definitely purchase again in future! Highly recommended for those who are looking for a moisturizer that is not oily but at the same time can gives ur skin 100% hydration.

I have very acne-prone skin and use Retin-A and the Tanda device to keep acne in check (although it's not 100%). From using these products, I get dry, flaky skin over the pimples I have, but the rest of my face continues to be oily. I bought the travel size version of this product (which per oz. is much more economical) and I was delighted with the results. I use this cream mostly at night because on oily skin, it's a bit too much for during the day, especially if you wear makeup. It soothed and moisturized my irritated skin, but did not cause me to break out. The smell is delicious, which is a bonus. I highly recommend this cream.

A word of advice: The travel-sized version of this cream sells for $10 for .5 oz. whereas the full-sized product sells for $42 for 1.7 oz. The portability of the travel-sized version makes it more affordable and convenient than the full-sized product.

I had such high hopes for this cream! My skin recently went through a weird phase where my T-zone stayed its normal kind of oily but my cheeks got drier than ever before. So I saw this advertised, checked out the reviews here (so positive!) and hurried into the shop to get myself a jar of this.
The first time I used it, it felt nice enough on my skin, but didn't seem to help much with the dryness on my cheeks. I used it a few more times over the next week, but it really didn't do anything for my skin.
I had a look at what Paula Begoun had to say about it on her cosmetic cop website, and it was bad news... She mentioned research that shows angelica plants ccontain a chemical which produces a kind of chemical "sunburn" on the skin. Has L'Occitane removed the chemical from the products containing Angelica? Are they aware of the research? How much of the "sunburn" chemical is present in the Angelica extract they use? It may even be that L'Occitane did do something to counteract the harmful effect of this chemical, but how would I know? So I decided it's not worth the risk... and I threw it out (recycling the jar of course). An expensive waste it was...
Happily for me, I found a couple of moisturisers by Trilogy that solved my dryness problem :-)

This is by far my favourite moisturizer. It smooths on easily, and absorbs quickly. My skin is so soft after applying it, and stays moisturized throughout the day, though not oily. The scent is pleasant, I have no complaint about it. Love this, but not the gel cleanser from the same line... that caused my skin to develop a rash. But this moisturizer will be part of my daily routine from now on!

I recieved a sample of this and thought it was an excellent moisturiser. It sinks straight into skin and gives a dewy (not greasy) finish. It makes my skin really smooth to touch and softens it. A little goes a long way with this too. It made my liquid foundation apply easier with a better finish aswell. Overall, I would say that this is worth the price!

I wanted to like this cream, as it had the most amazing texture i've ever found in a cream. It just glides on my face so smoothly like no other cream has ever done before and my entire face feels so soft afterwards. However, I rate this a three because it broke me out. I'm not sure why it broke me out, but seeing as this was the only new addition to my skincare routine, I'm very sure it was this product. It may work for other people, but unfortunately didn't work for me :(

I got it as a free gift for a promotion they were doing, and it is DIVINE. It leaves a matte verging on dewy finish. It soaks into my skin almost immediately (which NEVER happens with other ones), and leaves a light-from-within glow. It completely combats my dry skin, without causing any oiliness on my oily areas (I'm comination). And (and this is a big and) it doesn't cause a reaction or breakouts!!!
Every other moisturizer I tried has been greasy, sat on my skin, burned or broke me out. This is a goldmine! My skin has never been so plump. It feels 'juicy', and delightfully soft and smooth. The minute I run out, I will repurchase. And I'll keep the mini jar to use for traveling. If you're worried about the jar being unsanitary, just use a spatula to remove product. There is a light "green"/plant smell, but it fades in less than a minute, and I stopped noticing it at all after about a week.
I just wanted to share because it's been a long journey, and maybe this will help someone.

The L'occitane sales lady recommended this to me to replace the discontinued Ultra Comforting Cream, which my dry skin absolutely loved. This gives me instantly smooth skin and is quite light for the summer. Despite the name, I'm not all too sure it is that hydrating or gives my skin added radiance. I still get some dry patches and flakes so this cream is probably more suited to oily-normal skin.

*update
This made my skin extremely itchy over the first month of use. I never associated it with the cream until I stopped using it. It's too expensive to chuck so now I only use it on acne prone areas since it is non oily and does not aggravate any spots. Definitely not hydrating enough for dry skin.

Also, I think it has darkened my skin since I have used it - reported to be one of the side effects of angelica oil. Definitely won't be repurchasing!

This cream is amazing in terms of delivering good hydration and improving skin condition. I swear that this product made my pores smaller and skin smoother overall. It also seemed to work wonders on the few pimples that I had. I have oily skin that sometimes reacts to other products, but this soothed all that without sacrificing oil control. Smell, texture, both very appealing.

I take on lippy off because it's in a jar without a pump and because sometimes the smell is distracting (in a nice, I don't want to think about what I'm doing, kind of way).

I love this moisturiser. It makes my sensitive eczema-prone skin feel velvety and soft. I used to use almond apple velvet concentrate and when it was discontinued tried this, I was concerned because almond apple was my favourite reliable moisturiser, but this new angelica one is even better !

This product works miracles! I have combination skin and in the winter time the sides of my cheeks get so dry and flaky that nothing I use helps. I use this one night and my skin is totally fixed! It's amazing. My face is so soft right now and it hasn't caused me to break out at all. I use it both morning and night. It doesn't leave a greasy feeling and sinks in right away. I was always hesitant to buy a product from L'Occitane because of the expensive prices, but I am so glad I finally bought something there. This was so worth it. Now the $40 I spent on this seem like nothing because I don't think I would ever be able to live without this product.

I'm loving this cream so far! I've been getting a little breakout on my chin that looks like a rash (possibly eczema) and since using this it has gotten so much better. I also have a little rosacea on my left cheek and this has taken away some of the redness. I think it smells like a Christmas tree...could just be the time of the year though, lol. I've been using for a week and will update if anything changes.

i have oily/combo skin with pimples around my chin- my face is always getting dehydrated. This cream was fantastic for hydrating my face over night, I use this as a night cream and when i wake up in the morning my face is really smooth and soft. The product goes a long way- you only need a small amount, so because of that I think its good value. The packaging could be improved, a pump would definitely be economical and hygienic. Overall the best hydrator on the market that I've found so far

Very nice product, keeps my oily skin well hydrated, yet matte. The smell is heavenly. I don't like the packaging, though. The frosted glass bottle looks pretty but I much prefer face products to come in a squeeze-out tube. I would recommend this cream to oily-skinned gals, not sure if this would be moisturizing enough for people with dry skin.

Angelica Hydration Cream
http://www.loccitane.com.sg/angelica-hydration-cream,27,1,2002,161646.htm
I wanted something hydrating for day time usage and this is a new product launched in Singapore by L'occitane. First the scent is something refreshing. Since I have no idea how Angelica smells like, I would say this smells a bit like cucumbers? Its nothing pungent, but a little refreshing - took me a while to get used to the scent.
So I apply this in the morning before my sunblock. It keeps my skin hydrated all day long. I dont see the fine lines in the middle of the day anymore, like i used to. Yes I have a compact mirror on my working desk :p This is a very light weight moisturizer and v hydrating. It doesnt feel oily but there is some oil in it. I would let it sink it (usually about 2 minutes since I am usually in a rush in the mornings) and use a piece of tissue paper to dab on my face very gently before putting on my sunblock.
My skin feels very comfortable throughout the day and I THINK my foundation looks better too (after 4-5 hrs), at least i dont see fine lines like i used to.
There is also a Milky Lotion which is rather "watery" in my opinion. I prefer the cream to the lotion for my dry skin.
And yes I would repurchase all these 3 products again. I took a lippie off for (1) having to get used to the scent of the shea butter and angelica, but that's just me being fussy, and having to dip my finger into the jar.

You will first notice the absolutely divine smell of this cream!!! And then after a few weeks, refreshed, renewed, more youthful looking skin. It's a pleasure to apply and something I actually look forward to. It goes on silky smooth and feels wonderful. I use it as a night cream since it does not have SPF, and even use it around my eyes which allows me to skip the separate step of an eye cream. The jar is a frosted glass which is really quite pretty and feels substantial in your hands. However, I would prefer a pump so that the amount I use each time would be more consistent. I find that dipping my finger into the jar is pretty random and many times I feel like I used too much cream. I also think that the by the time I get to the bottom of the jar, it might a little difficult to dip down in there as it's a somewhat narrow, deep design.
