This is not only my HG mascara, but I can't find any other one that even comes SLIGHTLY close! And I've tried many. I've used it for almost as long as some of you have been alive, LOL.
Thickens AND Lengthens
Looks natural, never spikey
Buildable coverage... natural- to -glamorous
Perfect sized brush
Washes off easily
Lashes even FEEL natural (flexible, not stiff)
No chemical-y smell
The Brown shade is a TRUE dark brown, not a brownish-black
NONE, except that it isn't drugstore-cheap, and if you want a really outrageously "fake" / theatrical look, this will not get you there. I consider that a big plus, though some may not.

I treat makeup as I do cleaning products - I always favor the natural alternative provided it works. Natural products usually smell, feel and often look better but this mascara isn't cutting it for me. I have it in brown-black and the formula is wimpy, takes a million coats and I still feel like it's barely there. Love Origins, but have to pass on this one. I prefer Clinique's Lash Doubling Mascara
Age: 19-24 Skin: Acne-prone, Fair-Medium, Neutral Hair: Brunette, Straight, Fine Eyes: Brown
I have this in a brown color and don't wear it very often. I wear it if I am going to do a very natural look. I like the formula but I wish it created a bit more volume.

I got this by mistake. I wonted full story and the girl at the counter gave me this, I didn't realize till I got home that it was the wrong one. This is a nice mascara, glides on smooth, no clumps, makes my lashes took really long. However this mascara bothers my eyes so badly. They water and itch when i put it on, and the my eyes itch threw out the day, and if I get the smallest amount of it in my eye it burns like crazy and the tears will literally stream down my face. I will not by this again and will be exchanging it for the other asap.
Nice black color not to dark or the light.
Great day mascara.
Used with underwear for your lashes makes my long lashes touch the sky lol,
Lasts all day with not flacking.
Can easily be remove with water.
Burns itches and makes my eyes water like crazy :(

pros: it glides on so nicely! plus it makes my lashes look so large and long, it lasts a long time and works great with an eyelash curler.

I do kinda like this, and I will use this all up, but the only thing is that it gives me unatural looking laskes, when I could find something much better at the drug store
Age: 30-35 Skin: Oily Hair: Brown Eyes: Green
This irritated my eyes, making them itch. It also smeared quite quickly. Pass.

This is my go-to mascara. It's lasted quite some time and the formula still has a wonderful wet texture that gives my lashes plenty of length & volume. I don't get the fake lash look with it but I do get a very nice 'beautiful-natural' lash look that I always need in the morning. My lashes are naturally a pretty light brown color & the black goes on nicely and coats evenly to lift & separate them. There's not comparison, that I can think of, that comes close to this mascara. The dull packaging is something I'm willing to overlook.
It goes on nicely, doesn't flake or smudge, and with a stiffer angled brush, this works beautifully as a liquid mascara. I'm convinced that its the formula that is so wonderful about it. It's so glossy and wet once it's on but dries quickly.
I'd definitely repurchase.

I don't like this product that much. It looks pretty good when I first put it on, but it wears off REALLY easily and it doesn't show up that much. It isn't terrible, but I won't repurchase.

Yes, this mascara plumps up lashes a bit more than Clinique's Naturally Glossy, but it also smudges easier. I've been following Origins products for awhile now, but this mascara just doesn't work for me (it's the only product that hasn't so far). I have dry, sensitive eyes naturally, and this formula just seems to aggravate them. By the end of the day, I am literally itching to take this off! So I'm going back to Naturally Glossy, because it stayed put all day with no eye irritation whatsoever. (Maybe you're supposed to pair this with their lash primer, but I just don't want to buy two products when 1 should do the job).

I love everything about this mascara...EXCEPT the fact that it runs horribly! I wish so badly that they would come out with this in a waterproof version. Everything else about it is perfect...soft, full lashes that you can keep building without clumps. And the price is great. But as soon as I step outside on a humid and/or rainy day...it's all under my eyes.

I actually like this mascara better than the full story for building up my lashes. This stuff is is so soft that you can build and build and build without ever seeing a clump. This stuff allows you to go from a natural look to a dramatic one with only a few swipes. It last all day without flaking too. On the downside, it can burn your eyes if it ever gets on your eyeball, and the tube does not last that long for me since I use so much at once. But I have already repurchased numerous times and will again!

This is my HG mascara. Now keep in mind that I am a YLBB kind of girl. This gives my lashes a natural boost, but is never sticky or clumpy. It is more expensive (about $14 I believe) than drugstore, but I've tried to find a cheaper alternative using the great MUA'ers advice and have concluded that it is worth it to pay a few more dollars and know that my lashes are going to look great, but natural-looking every day! I've repurchased 3x now and plan to keep using this.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Normal Hair: Blond Eyes: Blue
Another great find thanks to MUA. This is a wonderful mascara for a natural, but enhanced, look. I like this better than Clinique Naturally Glossy, as it provides more volume, in my opinion. Never clumps, never flakes, applies easily and stays put....but comes off easily with eye makeup remover. I've also noticed that it does NOT dry out and has lasted very well for three months.

i bought this mascara because the sales lady told me that this was the BEST mascara. she promised that it wouldn't smear or smudge, and that raccoon eyes would be a thing of the past. well, the lady was wrong. it does give me raccoon eyes after wearing for just a couple of hours. on the plus side, i really do like the way it defines my lashes, and it's kind of glossy looking. maybe i'll try it the smashbox lash primer, which makes any mascara last all day, w/o the raccoon eyes.
Age: 30-35 Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium Hair: Brown Eyes: Hazel
This looks FANTASTIC on, for about 20 minutes... I was so excited, thought I looked AMAZING, then went back to the bathroom 20 minutes later and had huge raccoon eyes, I mean literally the worst smudging I've ever experienced...I'll stick w/ Clinique Long Pretty Lashes...

There are already many reviews of this online, but I thought I'd add a voice. This is the ONLY mascara I've ever found that I actually could wear, and that includes more expensive brands like Lancome or Clinique. I use the black, and it's very fluid and colours the lashes from root to tip without clumping. My lashes are already pretty long and thick (just invisible because of the blond ends!), so thickening mascaras are a mess on me. Not this one. I can use it on my lower lashes too without feeling like a clown.
As usually happens when I find a product I like, I try to find a cheaper version of it, and wind up realizing that I wasted the money. This is my second or third Fringe Benefits, and I now know there's no point bothering with anything else.
(By the way, Origins also sells this in a kit with a formula you can put on your lashes first to thicken them. I don't like that, for the reasons stated above. Just the mascara, please.)

Love it, use it every day, very happy with it. I intitially purchased this in brown, it was ok, but black is really wonderful. It doesn't give the dramatic look, but very natural long, separated lashes. It works even better after I curl my lashes with Shu :) It lasts all day, and for 11$, seriuosly, what not to love? Will absolutely repurchase, though someone suggested to try Tarte. I will try, but so far, this is definitely a staple!

natural looking enhancement of the lashes. all day long lasting, non-clumping, non-flaking and non-irritating to the eyes. doesn't give a lot of volume - which is exactly what i was looking for -, since i find too volumising mascaras can make me look overdone with the eye-makeup, however this mascara can easily been layered on and on and on to create a fuller look without this causing a sticking together of the lashes or clumping. my favourite mascara!
Age: 19-24 Skin: Combination, Medium Hair: Black Eyes: Black
Ladies! this is a great mascara if you want natural lashes. I dont have long lashes and this mascara has left me nothing but soft and natural lashes. Also, I wear contact lenses and it does not bother my eyes at all! and it rarely smudges by the end of the day. I tried other mascaras like Dior show or Estee Lauder or even Mac mascara but for the rest of my everyday life I will be using Origin's mascara. I also use the underwear primer for my lashes and it works wonder with the product!
