This review is meant for TheFaceShop Easy Brush Eyeliner in Black.
(the one with light aqua-green eyeliner with some distasteful flowery design)
This eyeliner is a disaster.
This cost me close to $20 (I have no idea why its that expensive in my country)
The packaging is super ugly but well lets just say I was convinced by the Sales Girl that its great for beginners and even the name of the product itself sounds like it would glide on like magic so I decided to overlook the ugly factor.
But it smudges like crazy and I mean CRAZY.
This is as good as painting yourself with watercolor markers.
The ink is not pigmented either, color comes out so bad it looks diluted to me - like someone mixed in tap water in the tube. I tried it on the back of my hand and the color just sunk into the lines on my skin.
Please don't ever buy this product, its the WORST eyeliner I ever had.
I used it only once and its now probably burning in an incinerator somewhere.

I got this almost more than a year ago and it hasn't dried out. It's actually the most smudgeproof eyeliner I have ever tried. It dries up fast when applying it and it can draw a super thin line. This is always in my makeup bag. It's expensive but I found it totally worthy. I have tried so many different eyeliners. The one from FM Cosmetics is cheaper but the pen dries out faster. I had to cut it so that the color will come out. The problem also was that it was super hard to remove. This one from The Face Shop are well formulated specially here in Asia. I will re-purchase this once I finished it up. The girls in my office love this too and always ask me if they can have it. Because of the price I use this not too often like pencil and gel liners. This one though is highly pigmented and I love it. One of my holy grail products I do not regret buying. I love the eyeliners from The Face Shop!!! I already collected 4 different eyeliners from this brand :)

really face shop? really? i mean i thought The Body Shop's Eye Definer was bad but this... it was like a dry marker. :(
i mean i guess it's okay if you like "sheer eyeliner" (i don't think they're EVER supposed to be sheer, though) and all you want is to create an impression that you have thicker eyelashes, but otherwise, this is not cool. it really did look like i drew on my lids with a marker. the liner was thin, too liquid, and just flimsy.

This wasn't cheap considering it's a piece of crap that can't be used at all. For US10, I have this supposedly black eyeliner that can hardly draw a firm black line and it appears like a pen with its ink dried up. The tip is hard and rough. So the more I draw, the more scratched my lids are. Besides, I have to draw over my lid many times to even get enough color to appear. This is the worse makeup I've bought in my life. A real waste of money and it goes right into the trash. Maybe I'll use it to write, lol!
