I don't have a CVS in my state, so I bought this online untested, I purchased Moonstone/Shimmering Sand. I really liked this combo. As another reviewer mentioned, if you want lots of color, pass it up. It's a beautiful neutral with just enough shimmer. On my fair skin/green eyes, this was gorgeous and made my eyes pop, plus added enough contour to look classy and finished,. The colors are surprisingly pigmented yet sheer at the same time and buttery soft. They do contain small bits of shimmer, which is good and bad. The good part is once the shadows are applied and blended, the colors seem to be very radiant and glowy without being metallic. The bad is that you do get a little shimmer fallout right after application, but it wasn't a big problem and not enough to make me not wear it. I get much more fallout with NARS and Urban Decay, My only complaint is staying power, but to be honest, the couple times I've worn it, I didn't use a primer. I think with a primer and proper application, it will last long enough for me, I don't wear shadow 12 hours a day, and wouldn't consider these night colors, so it doesn't matter, I liked it enough to order another duo and will comment on it when it's received. All in all, a good value, for a d/s shadow especially when on sale.
EDIT: Just got duo 01 Plum/Putty delivered The putty is a matte dusty medium grey brown, and the plum is a shimmery plum with more red then blue. It reminds me very much of a NARS duo in that I wasn't sure which one to use as a lid color and which to use as contour, I like both colors, but not necessarily together, Will play with them. Price was right at BOGO and the texture is nice, but I think they will need primer. I also wouldn't expect 12 hour wear. They go on slightly sheer but color can be built up. For a drugstore brand, these perform like products more than twice the price.

I returned mine. Not pigmented enough and just a blah color. Save your money and get a Wet & Wild pallette.

Edit 9'25 Still using this but, in truth, I'd never repurchase.
I chose this duo, Dusty Rose/Sheer Champagne, as my freebie when this brand debuted at CVS. I wanted to try the lipstick in "Dusty Rose" (love it) and didn't know WHAT to choose, but I took a shot at this e/s duo. It's very nice! I'm not an eyeshadow duo lover - what can I do with just two shades, you know? But I liked the looks of Dusty Rose as a soft crease shade, and it is just that. Sheer Champagne is very lightly luminous, perfect for my aging eyelids. I like to do a soft wash with it on my inner corner and lid, then just under my brow arch. Using ELF's Studio Contour Brush, I apply Dusty Rose from my outer eye corner upwards into my eye contour/crease and blend. Adding black or grey liner and black mascara makes for a really nice look on my dark brown eyes. I've had no problems with pigmentation or wear. Couple of negatives for me: 1. I find the cute tear-shaped compact annoying to open! Really wish it was just a simple compact tab. 2. The compact is LARGE - you receive a large amount of product, which helps justify the price - but I wish it was a smaller round like Ulta, Cat, old BB so I could palette it! But those are my personal gripes. I'm very pleased with this purchase and have used it often!

I find the shadows to be pretty, but so sheer they're almost useless. Too bad, I was looking forward to this line.

I got this in Dusty Rose and Sheer Champagne. The colors are fine--the Champagne is slightly luminescent, I generally prefer matte, but it's pretty. The Dusty Rose is a brown with reddish undertones. The problem with this is that it has no staying power at all. I put it on and about an hour later it was gone. I found the same thing to be true with the concealer, but I will do a separate review for that. Very disappointed in this line.

This is from Salma Hayek's new line, which is exclusive to CVS. I purchased this in Moonstone/Shimmering Sand, and it is gorgeous on my green eyes. The name is accurate--it definitely shimmers--but it's a very subtle color combination. (If bold colors are your thing, you'll bypass this anyway.) If your significant other thinks "less is more" when it comes to makeup, as mine does, try this--it's really beautiful. I might have to try the eyeshadow quad next...
