I really like the pump. I dispense about 3 pumps for my long, fine, color-treated hair. The smell is definitely Dove but it goes away, which I like. As for the "anti-frizz" claim, definitely not though it did make my hair smooth.... but didn't feel nourishing at all. My ends would feel dry after 10 hours. After I'm done with this bottle, I will fill it up with Organix Renewing Moroccan Argan Penetrating Oil as I find it is more beneficial for me to use.

When I got this at the store, I was really looking for the sample I tried of Dove's style & care anti frizz cream since I was so impressed with it from just the small packet I had, but I couldn't find it. I bought this instead and it's pretty comparable. It works more like a detangler for me and I have less frizz than before, but the style & care cream did a better job with anti frizz. The smell is classic Dove, which I love. I would prefer it with a different dispenser though. I've never liked the lift up tops that are still connected (like a sports bottle) and would like a pump feature instead. Overall, very good product.

Good product, quite cheap. Not sure about the anti-frizz, but I like the smell, it untangles my hair and it gives it more volume than usual. Would definitely buy it again.

I bought this on a whim because it was so affordable and had the buzz ingredient of the moment in it - Argan oil. So glad I did! I put a couple pumps on my damp hair and it makes it so, so soft and manageable. I have very fine but very wavy/frizzy hair, and this doesn't weigh it down, as most anti-frizz serums do. It's light & doesn't have any discernible scent. It's so affordable compared to most Argan oil products - cough, Josie Maran - and just as effective.
My only complaint, and this is a minor one, is that the clear plastic cap falls off constantly. I recently took this on a trip with me and had to tape the lid on to make sure it didn't leak.

This probably deserves closer to a 3.5 rating, but can't give half a lippie.
Hair oils/serums play an important role in my daily hair care. My curly hair craves moisture and serums help to detangle so I always use some after washing my hair.
I purchased the 1.35 oz bottle for $4.98. The pump works just fine, but the dang cap constantly falls off which can get a bit annoying.
This serum is advertised as containing argon oil (which seems to be the big thing nowadays). The product gets the job done (in terms of softening and aiding in detangling); however it's doesn't wow me. I find that other serums (such as the One N Only Argon oil) work better at providing a silkiness to my hair while keeping it non-greasy. I also find that I have to use twice the amount of this oil when compared to other oils.
Overall this isn't a bad product, has a pleasant scent and is decently priced, but I don't plan on repurchasing simply because I feel there is better out there.
I'll be trying the Garnier Moroccan oil serum next and see how that works.

I got my bottle free, but at Walmart (without tax) this cost $4.98. I used to have a bob that was bleached, dyed pink, dyed brown, dyed black, then left alone so it could grow. My hair is almost long enough to lay over my bust. So I have this hair that is untouched and healthy up top, and the lower half which is just horribly different. It's dry, brittle, breaking, I needed a new routine. I was using freaking biolage ($15 for each bottle) and it was doing nothing for me. I do use the dove intensive repair shampoo and conditioner now ($5 for each bottle at target) which helped a lot, but I wanted that extra boost. The dove anti-frizz serum was my answer. I enjoy that it's small enough to carry in my bag, and you really don't need a lot. Two pumps was actually too much for me! I put the residue on my hands on my knees and my shins. But still, despite using twice the amount I should have (one pump is best for me), my hair did not look oily, greasy, wet, none of it. This summer is hot as heck. My hair is naturally wavy, and the dove sham/condish pretty much takes care of it, but the serum is for taking it to a better, smooth, healthy, shiny, frizz-free level. This is a must have. I can't believe it wouldn't work on anyone else, but if it didn't, at least it would be an inexpensive failure. It does everything it says on the bottle. Again, my hair is thin with a natural wave, with a whole lot of damage. If you have annoying frizz, and can't make it go away to save your life, press a drop into your hand, rub both hands together, and just put it through your hair as if you were trying to make a ponytail. No need to get into the roots. Can apply this in damp hair after a shower or like me this summer when you're stuck in a hot room to settle any frizz or flyaways. Also it has the lightest scent, you can just barely smell it, but it is pleasant.

I love this hair serum! I have waist length hair that is rebonded, so the ends are very dry and brittle. My hair usually feels like plastic eventhough I use a hair mask. But with this serum, it's now so soft and tangle free! The oil is super absorbant and doesnt leave hair feeling heavy or sticky. And it has the signature Dove fragrance too! The packaging is pretty nice and handy as well. I would definitely recommend this to friends :)

This product did nothing for the frizz in my hair. I have coarse curly hair and my hair still got frizzy. I tried different amounts and nothing worked. I do love the shampoo and daily conditioner (in tube) though.

I had high hopes for this product because of the positive reviews here. However, not only did this serum flatten my fine, thin hair, but also, it didn't get rid of the frizz. After applying the serum to damp hair and blowing it dry, my hair looked semi-calm. But as soon as I ventured out into the humid summer air, my hair frizzed up into a giant puff-ball. By mid-afternoon, my hair was greasy AND frizzy. NOT a good combo.

this gives my hair the feel of a pure argan oil type treatment with the effect of an anti frizz serum. i love this because it's very light and doesn't make my hair look flatter or greasier than it already is! i think it's excellent for its price but the packaging could be a little better. i found it slightly hard to control how much you pump out, and i don't need that much because my hair is very fine and is easily weighed down. overall i really like this. the effects last until my next shower with very few touch ups. way to go dove!!

I am a Dove lover. I love their conditioner, and I LOVE this serum! It is a staple in my bathroom. My hair loves it, as well! I apply one pump after washing, and one more before styling and BAM! I have silky, smooth, shiny, straight, sleep, smooth, sexy hair! It's all together and smells great! The texture feels a bit heavy, but once applied to the hair, it's like a drink of water. It leaves it so smooth and doesn't weight it down, at all! I put this on my curled hair, and I have extremely shiny curls! Totally touchable! It makes my damaged, frayed, split ends look healthy! Super pleased with this product and will venture out for other Dove products! This one gets my vote! I love it! This comes in second place to my Paul Mitchell Skinny Serum! Almost as good!

I have to agree with the other reviewer...this is great stuff for a great price. I don't remember how much I paid for it but I know that it was significantly less than the dermorganic and moroccanoil. I got it at cvs and it is so smoothing and does not make my hair feel greasy like other serums can. It is definitely up there with the dermorganic serum and is actually lighter. It looks like it would have a yellow tint in the container, but it comes out clear which I like. I feel like the other tinted serums sometimes change the color of my hair to a slight brassy tone. This does not. the pump is easy to use, but I sometimes feel that i am pumping out more than is necessary. I just use the extra on my dry skin like knees and elbows. It is nice to be able to buy a quality hair product at a fair price..love it!

AMAZING! It's so hard to find good products for my bi-racial, thick, frizzy, UNMANAGEABLE hair. Friend of mine has been raving about this gem for ages, and she finally brought it over, put it in my hand, and said YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS.

I gotta say, she was right. I took a shower, just put a small amount of this oil in my hair and worked it through, and it works even BETTER than a LOT of the high-end products I have tried. Even my husband was shocked!

I'm also pleased with the lack of scent. If there is one, it's light and practically unnoticeable despite the fact that it has almond and Coconut oil in it (which is always good.

Also, even though it's an "oil", my hair drank it up with no greasy residue like I usually get from oils. Just left my hair soft and shiny, like in one of those commercials. I actually can't keep my hands out of it (OMG I CAN RUN MY HANDS THROUGH MY HAIR!!)

Thumbs up!
