i heard this is from the same company is Moroccan Oil or Macademia Oil.

This is a great conditioner..really made my hair soft and sexy...

However I dont like the ingredients too much, lots of chemicals..So I use this as a treat or when i do my Vitamin C Dye removing treatments..Or if my hair feels really dry or needs a pick me up.

my Tip: Add some coconut or olive oil
For an actual deep conditioning treatment..wash your hair and just come out of the shower..towel dry a bit..and apply this conditioner. Put a shower cap and use a blow dryer over it for the perfect Deep COnditioning..this is great for REALLLLYYY Dry Damaged hair

This is incredibly moisturizing, but I have to watch out how much I apply or my hair gets weighed down. It has a thick texture too so those with finer strands might want to start off using a little bit, then adjusting the amounts to suit your needs. I use a nickel sized amount and my hair comes out soft and shiny. All frizz is decreased and I don't feel any residue. This can be a bit oily feeling, but my hair loves it. I see this being better suited for those who have very dry or frizzy hair. It has a nice scent that lingers temporarily after my hair dries. I found this at Sally's. I would recommend getting a packet first of this before buying the bigger size. Overall, I would buy this again.

I bought this product browsing Sally's one day, partially because it's supposed to be a Moroccan oil dupe (I think?) and partially because I've been trying to find an HG drugstore deep conditioner to replace my Jessicurl Weekly Deep Treatment (I can only get it online, and a homegirl is too lacking in the $$$ department to be paying all that shipping). I used it after washing and combing out my hair and applied it generously in sections before twisting those sections, putting my hair in a shower cap, and promptly falling asleep for three hours.

When I first put on the deep conditioner I was really wary because it didn't seem to make my hair feel softer or help melt away tangles like I'm used to my other products doing, so I told myself I might just have to leave it on longer and accept its lack of "slip". Well, I'm glad I did! When I rinsed the product out my hair (all of it) my strands felt significantly softer, my cuticle felt smoother, and this is literally the ONLY product ever where I've been able to let my hair air dry without any use of leave-ins or oils. I am very happy about that. Unfortunately, I'm taking off a lippie because the smell isn't all that pleasant (although it does fade relatively quickly when you rinse your hair out) and its lack of detangling properties. I also won't be repurchasing just because I am so used to my deep treatments being able to detangle. Regardless, I have no issues with how it makes my hair feel, and don't mind using it up until the jar's done with.

Also, in case anyone reading this is as boojie about product ingredients as I am, there's a silicone in this, but the benefits of this deep conditioner even outweigh that "con" for me, so I would seriously suggest trying this if you have thick, curly hair, or hair that is thirsting for some extra moisture.

I bought a few sample size/few use packets at Sally's and a few full sized of a lot of products and I'm going to use them all at least twice before making a final decision, but I'm going to start now.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The products were: Proclaim Argan Oil Intense Hydrating Masque, Creme of Nature Argan Oil Intensive Conditioning Treatment, Ion Effective Care Treatment, One 'n Only Brazilian Tech Keratin Deep Penetrating Conditioning Treatment, Silk Elements MegaSilk Moisturizing Treatment, Cantu Shea Butter Leave-In Conditioning Treatment, Silk Elements Mega Cholesterol Conditioning Treatment, Organic Root Stimulator Hair Mayonnaise
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This treatment I only used once so far. It's silky and light in texture like the Ion, Creme of Nature, Silk Elements (treatment) and the One 'n' Only. I like it, not the most amazing thing out of the bunch but could work. I just left it in for a few minutes in the shower, smell is nice. Really not bad, but because I have so many others, there are some above this one. This is up there though. It was also rainy the day after I did it, which makes me frizztastic. I also started sleeping with a satin scarf on further down my treatment testing experiment, and that seemed to help enormously, so I will be doing that when I try this for the second time and update with a more all around opinion.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
UPDATE: Ok, I didn't *sleep* with a scarf on, I was too tired, so I showered in the AM. I put this on for a few minutes and went about doing other things, so this time it was on longer. Then after I rinsed, I put in some Paul Mitchell Straight Works because it was there (I don't blow dry, or have straight hair, don't let the name fool you) Threw in some Bioslik too. I wore my hair in a bun with the scarf for a few hours and it's even silkier than the last time I tried this, and I liked it then too. I *might* still like the One 'n' Only more, but this is still pretty sweet. Changed it to yes, I'd buy again.
Overall I like this product. I think it does an alright job at moisturizing my coarse, thick, wavy hair. I would buy this again, if it were on sale. The smell is ok, nothing spectacular. I'm still searching for a better moisturizing conditioner.
For my 4a/b/c porous, fine (but leans a bit thick in density), dry hair, this is such an average conditioner for me. I used it during the winter time and I didn't see any noticeable changes in my hair. It didn't help with detangling and my hair didn't seem more moist. Then I traveled overseas with it and I finally saw that it helped with my sun exposed hair. I left it behind for my cousins who might appreciate it more than I did. I will not repurchase for myself but will for my cousins.
I really like this stuff, the key to it, is heat! I tried it the first time and left it on for about an hour. I got so so results, so the second time I put a plastic cap over and used my hair dryer for about twenty minutes. The results were amazing! It really felt like the oils sunk into my hair, made it super soft and shiny
Just left this masque on for about 4 hours and it did an "ok" job at moisturizing and adding slip but nothing major to merit 5 lippies. Thank goodness I only had a sample pack and didn't purchase an entire tub. I will stick to my L'oreal Mega Moisture Conditioning Treatment.
This product is amazing. I had very dry damaged hair and this stuff would leave my hair super silky, well hydrated, soft, and very manageable. I can honestly say that this has made my hair healthier, stronger, and longer! It takes forever for my hair to grow and it grew in so quickly when I started using this. Also, my hair doesnt fall out at all anymore.
The price is also amazing. I got it at Sally's for 5 bucks!
The biggest drawback is the smell. It smells bad, but it's worth it to me.
I've been using this as my deep conditioner for about 3 months now. Overall its very very good. I have type 4a/b hair. I bought this when I ran out of my Giovanni Deep Moisture Conditioner and since I was broke I just went with this and it was a good choice. My hair is always soft and moisturized afterwards. I usually put it in, put on a plastic cap and let it sit in for a few hours or overnight if I can. It is actually really heavy. When I made the switch thats what I noticed so its really good for the winter time when our hair tends to dry out so fast.
The reason why its not a 5 for me? Its really thick and messy...really messy. Plus I have to use alot. I've tried Jessicurls Weekly Deep Treatment and that has been the best deep treatment I've ever used so I think I'll go with that. I love the consistency as it sinks in the hair not sit on top and extremely moisturizing.
If you dont mind the mess I say go for it! I'll be using it still until I can get my hands on the jessicurl
I bought this at Sally Beauty Supply for around $10 and you get 454g of product. So far I really like this product. I have very damaged hair from colour treating and using heat on it alot. It helps alot with frizz and when I get out of the shower after I use this I can run my fingers though my hair without any tangles. It also smells just like a salon to me, but the sceent does not stay in your hair after it dries. This did help a tiny bit for my split ends and it moisturized my hair so well, my hair felt like silk! When I use this I leave it in my hair for about 5 minutes then wash it out. One thing I do not like about it is the packaging, since it is in a tub it is harder to get out but the product inside is so great I don't mind! I have heard that this is comparable to the Macadamia Deep Repair Masque witch is $30! I really really love this Masque and I am surprised that not many people have tried it! I would highly reccomend this and I will be repurchasing! Thanks for reading and I hope this helps!
Alright, so this review is going to be a bit premature, since i have only used it once, but nothing really compels me to write a review that quickly. that in itself is kind of saying something. the ingredients seem to really resonate with my poor, tortured hair! i have used plenty of masks/masques on my hair over the past 2 years, always in search of something that can get my hair back to the state that it was in prior to being bleached within an inch of it's life. then, of course, half a year earlier i bleached it again & now i'm starting back from square one (i just love being a girl sometimes haha).
i used this tonight after oiling my hair overnight. I have pretty fine/medium textured hair so even though it's dry it can also get pretty oily fast if i use too much of anything. especially my roots, which i have been growing out for months. after shampooing with my Nature's Gate tea tree shampoo I put this on my hair along with a small touch of Desert Essence coconut conditioner. I left it in for about an hour or two then rinsed it out & just decided to let my hair go wavy. I didn't want to straighten it & most times i get lackluster results even though my hair feels nice when i get out of the shower; it just always looks so -dry-. Now I almost wish i would have flat ironed! it is SO soft & i normally don't touch my hair, but it is seriously that nice. the smell of the product was not offensive, it was rather nice. & didn't irritate my allergies :) i only used a sample pack so i can't attest to the packaging, but i think it's smart for the masques to come in the jar. since the ones i used to buy were expensive, i wanted to make sure i could use every last bit of the product. this isn't too expensive though, & surprisingly has worked so much better than my $30 masques.
i'm going to use it again, & then update if anything changes over the last few uses i can get from the sample pack. i also used it in conjunction with a bit of leave in from the Desert Essence coconut conditioner, & then scrunched a bit of the Silk Elements Olive Glossing oil on the ends (which is also a fantastic product!), so i can't attest if the results are solely from the masque but i'm betting on it. i didn't use much of the other products, & i always have to use a bit of something anyway so if they work well together then even better! :)
[edit]:
Well, I used it again, & while it isn't awful & still works well, it wasn't as amazing as the first time. I don't know why that is, but sometimes my hair can be finicky. I recently chopped it all off to a pixie cut, so I don't need as many deep conditioners anyway, but I still think it's a great treatment compared to other products out there that are much more expensive.
This conditioner comes in a jar which I'm not crazy about but is still workable. It's thicker than regular conditioners which I put on my hair after I've shampoo'd. I left it on for about 10 minutes and my hair came out so soft even after intense use of the hairdryer. With fall fast approaching I can see using this about once per week the colder it gets. My hair has come out soft and smooth with no flyaways. Would definitely re-purchase especially when it's on sale for only $5.
I have not tried any of the other products in this Proclaim Argan Oil line but the reviews of the shampoo and conditioner state they both have a terrible odor. Maybe they worked that out on this one as it smells fine and seems to be trying to mimic Moroccan oil in smell. I only purchased a sample of this masque but I will buy it again. I use it three times a week like a conditioner and it leaves my fine, thin, color treated hair soft and silky but not crazy fly away. My limp hair does not react well to a lot of conditioners (they either leave my hair more flat and slippery or they don't condition enough so my hair is not smooth) but this one strikes the perfect balance. I wish it were not in the tub style container but I can deal with it.
